“Someone says ki- Oh, I.. I,” Maki stutters, frowning. “I can't find that comment now,” he sighs.
“Ah, I think I saw it too,” Nicholas nods with a smile, his eyes glued to the screen. “Luné, you're so funny, I like those things you're writing,” he smirks, now looking straight to the camera.
They're live on Weverse now, sitting in a small room as always, trying to find something to talk about. Maki bites on his lips, takes a deep breath and says: “We've been here for an hour… Well, almost,” he giggles. “I'm hungry, so I guess we should say goodbye now,” he pouts, reading all the comments that keep spawning quickly. “Yeah, I'm sad, too, but we have an interesting schedule tomorrow, so stay tuned, guys!”
Nicholas nods, pursing his lips. “Luné, please eat well and stay warm! I'll send you some new pics tonight,” he smiles, seeing all these cute comments with heart emojis.
Maki places his hand on Nicholas' thigh when he leans to the phone to end the live, and hell- It's so hard to keep his face straight and look unbothered.
A few seconds to make sure the live is ended. Maki locks the phone and leans back in the chair. “You really saw that?”
Nicholas’ skin feels so hot right where Maki's hand touched it. He bites his lower lip, blinking rapidly, “I guess so?”
He saw that. He saw the comment that was repeated a few times before it disappeared- Someone probably reported it.
‘Kiss already we can see the tension between you guys😫’
“Why are they saying that?” Maki frowns, fidgeting his ring, looking down. “That's weird, don't you think?”
Nicholas shrugs, “Maybe? You know, people have been doing this shit since forever,” he smirks, tilting his head to the side. “But why are they talking about the tension between us, huh?”
“I don't know, man,” Maki rolls his eyes, still avoiding looking at Nicholas. “Why do you even care?”
Nicholas lets out a small laugh. Yeah, why does he care? It's not like he's never seen those, especially when there's some cute content with him and Euijoo or him and Harua, whatever. People be like:
Oh, they're so cute together, I wish they were dating!
Or something like:
They're probably fucking.
To be honest, Nicholas doesn't care about it. He finds it interesting, trying to understand why people think about them in such a way. Still he doesn't get it.
Maki clicks his tongue, “See? Nothing special, just a comment.”
Nicholas doesn't say a word, just looks up at him.
“What?”
“Nothing,” Nicholas shrugs, licking his lips quickly. “I'm just curious, like, what is the tension between us?”
“That's weird,” Maki mutters under his breath and rushes a hand through his short hair.
Nicholas bites on his lips, looking at him.
Why the hell is Maki so attractive lately? Was he always like this?
“Weird? So you've never thought about me in that way, right? Or about a kiss with me?” Nicholas' voice sounds teasing, he grins.
“Of course I was thinking about it, bro,” Maki says and chuckles softly. “It would be weird if I weren't, like, for real,” he shrugs.
Neither of them is surprised. It's not something they should be ashamed of or feel guilty. They've been spending their time together almost every day for three years now.
Thoughts about kissing aren't a big deal.
“Good,” Nicholas nods, “Same. I felt something like this before, but about Yuma,” he giggles.
Maki smiles softly, sighing, “We all did, I guess. He's just- Yeah,” he shifts in his chair slightly.
“You said you were hungry?”
“Um, uh-huh,” Maki swallows, his gaze lowering to Nicholas' lips just for a mere second. Just enough for Nicholas to notice it, the smirk grows on his face.
“Bro, you're so easy to read,” he giggles, he moves the chair a little, just to make their knees brush. “You know you can kiss me, don't you?” Maki nods. “Then what are you waiting for?”
Yes, maybe he was waiting for Nicholas to say this out loud. He leans forward a bit, watching Nicholas grinning at him, and stands up. It feels so strange, but in a good way. He looks down at Nicholas, who seems to be so calm now, it's crazy.
“Woah, you're so hot from this angle,” Nicholas murmurs, biting on his lip. “Leaning over me, ooh, sexy,” he sounds like he's teasing, but he's not.
He means it. Maki in a tank top, with his short hair, looking so huge now, it makes Nicholas' heart flutter in a strange way. He didn't know he's into big guys-
Maki rolls his eyes and bends over, leaning on the armrests on either side of Nicholas. “And you look really tiny, you know?” He smiles, his eyes on Nicholas' lips.
“You just need to stop going to the gym, dude,” Nicholas raises his brow, grinning. “You're huge.”
Maki doesn't say a word, he just leans down, pressing their lips together. They're not kissing slowly, more like trying to eat each other's lips. Nicholas smirks into the kiss, when Maki bites his lower lip a little too harshly.
“Oh,” he mutters, letting out a sharp sigh, “you're really hungry,” his hands are on Maki's, squeezing slightly.
Maki just licks Nicholas’ lips, making him gasp with a subtle ‘fuck’.
“I've been waiting for this moment, bro,” he chuckles, pulling back a bit just to look into his eyes.
“Calling me bro while making out, that's a level,” Nicholas can't help but giggle.
“Of friendship?” He teases, tilting his head to the side. “I like it. And you?”
Nicholas doesn't say anything, just leans forward to kiss Maki.
He likes it, he really does.
