Work Text:

After a few long hours of studying, Francis finally decides to sleep, and after he finally snaps out of his academical-mindset he realizes Hank is snoring. Hard.

His limbs are sprawled all across the bed, obviously drooling onto the pillow, the saliva collecting on the pillow case—Francis can't help but recoil.

He looks peaceful, Francis can't help but agree, but gosh these snores are annoying. He decides to attempt to ignore it for now, and instead changes into his pyjamas, right before fluffing his pillow and crawling under his own blanket. It's chilly, just a little—but only because Francis hasn't been in his bed for the past few hours. He takes off his glasses, folds over the temples, and finally starts to settle down and get comfortable.

But when he's trying to sleep, he can hear every sound of Hank's—and, wow, his snoring is loud. Francis grumbles and turns away, adding this to his mental list of “what is annoying about Hank,” debating if he should get up to suffocate him with a pillow.

Well, he ends up getting up, but not to kill him—as of now he's just… standing there, watching Hank. The blanket is barely covering him at all, his hair is tousled, and Francis starts to think he's pretty. He screws his eyes shut and sighs, puffing his chest before he does so.

It isn't long before he's climbing over Hank, trying not to wake him, squeezing himself into the very little amount of space Hank left, tucking Hank's head in the nape of his neck.

It's like Hank can feel his presence, because he immediately turns his torso to face him, tangling their legs immediately and wrapping his arms around Francis's waist.

Francis's stomach flutters, and he can't believe he's having feelings like this for his shitty roommate, but alas—if he climbed into bed with him just to make him stop snoring, he must have some kind of feelings.

He notices that Hank does not have a shirt on, or pants for that matter, so he's almost fully naked in bed with Francis. That's a little weird, isn't it, he thinks, but he brushes it off and finally relishes the body warmth of Hank. He sighs out of his nose, a hand rubbing against Hank's back and drawing circles and spirals on it, all while he finally feels the sweet release of slumber.

Hank's snoring problem hasn't been solved, and it is currently just ever so slightly muffled, but at least Francis has an excuse as to why he was in bed with Hank, when he clearly wasn't when Hank fell asleep.
