Chapter 1: “THEY’RE DATING?!”

Chapter Text

Leo didn’t even plan to announce it.

He just casually walked into the dorm living room one evening, holding a cup of tea, and said:

“So, uh… me and Geonwoo are dating.”

The silence was IMMEDIATE and SO LOUD it felt physical.

Junseo dropped his ramen.

Anxin’s tablet slid off his lap.

Sanghyeon’s jaw hit the floor.

Sangwon stood up like someone had slapped him.

Then—

All at once:

“WHAT?!”

Leo blinked. “Why are you all yelling—”

Geonwoo walked in behind him.

Hand on Leo’s lower back.

Calm. Soft-eyed. Dangerous.

Sangwon pointed at the hand.

“THIS. THIS IS WHY WE’RE YELLING.”

Sangwon marched to Leo like a mother hen.

“Hyung. No. I refuse. You deserve happiness and love but NOT FROM HIM.”

Geonwoo raised a brow. “Excuse me?”

Sangwon stepped between them like a bodyguard.

Literal arms spread like a shield.

“I knew something was wrong! He’s been acting suspiciously nice the past few weeks!”

Leo rubs his forehead. “Sangwon-ah, it’s fine—”

“No. I’ve seen dramas. Men like him always start nice. Then BOOM. Sudden heartbreak arc.”

Geonwoo scoffed. “I’m not a villain.”

“You look like one!” Sangwon shot back.

Then added dramatically,

“And Leo-hyung is too soft-hearted to survive heartbreak!”

Leo choked.

“I’m older than both of you…?”

“No you’re not,” Sangwon insisted, emotional.

“You’re our baby leader.”

Leo nearly left the dorm.

Sanghyeon came running from the kitchen with a frying pan.

“WHO DO I HAVE TO HIT?!”

Leo stared. “Please put the weapon down??”

Sanghyeon squinted at Geonwoo.

“Oh. Definitely him.”

Geonwoo rubbed his temples.

“Why would you hit me? I didn’t do anything.”

“You stole our leader,” Sanghyeon said, voice trembling with mock betrayal.

Leo: “…I wasn’t kidnapped.”

“Spiritually, you were.”

Junseo clapped his hands dramatically.

“SO WHEN’S THE WEDDING?”

Anxin squealed.

“NO WAIT—WHO CONFESSED FIRST?!

WAS IT ANGSTY?

WAS IT CUTE?

DID SOMEONE CRY??”

Leo face-palmed.

“Oh my god…”

Geonwoo coughed.

“…Leo cried.”

“GEONWOO!” Leo smacked his arm.

Anxin shrieked like a fangirl.

“He CRIED??? This is BETTER than K-dramas—”

Sangwon turned to Leo, panicked.

“HYUNG WAS IT HAPPY TEARS OR SAD TEARS?!

DID HE PRESSURE YOU??”

“Sangwon,” Leo groaned.

“It was literally me being emotional because I LIKE him.”

Junseo gasped.

“Say it again but slower.”

Anxin: “And with eye contact.”

Leo: “NO.”

Leo wanted something simple.

A movie night.

A blanket.

Geonwoo’s arm around him.

They sat on the couch together.

Geonwoo leaned in slightly.

“Can I…?”

Leo blushed and nodded.

Just as Geonwoo rested his head on Leo’s lap—

The bedroom door BURST open.

Sangwon: “NO PDA IN THE LIVING ROOM!”

Sanghyeon brandishing a pillow: “THIS IS A FAMILY ZONE.”

Junseo recording with his phone:

“I’m documenting history. Please continue.”

Anxin taking notes like a scientist:

“Observation number 42: Geonwoo nuzzles Leo like a puppy.”

Geonwoo groaned.

“We literally can’t cuddle in our own dorm??”

Sangwon: “Not unless you file a request form.”

Leo: “A WHAT?”

Sanghyeon hands him a paper.

“Date Request Form. Fill before 8pm.”

Leo: “YOU MADE A FORM?!”

Sangwon flicked his hair dramatically.

“We take Leo’s happiness seriously.”

Geonwoo stared at them.

“…I hate all of you.”

Leo pat his hand.

“They’re just—being them.”

Junseo:

“No. We’re being ICONIC.”

Later that night, Geonwoo finally cornered the members.

“Look. I’m not going to hurt him.”

Sanghyeon narrowed his eyes. “We’ll see.”

Sangwon folded his arms. “Prove it.”

“How?”

The two looked at each other.

Then, with perfect synchronization:

“Make him happy.”

Geonwoo blinked.

“That’s it?”

“Yes,” Sangwon said.

“But if he so much as frowns—”

He pointed at the pan Sanghyeon still held.

“—we riot.”

Geonwoo stared.

Then nodded once, firm.

“…I’ll do better than that.”

Leo, overhearing from the hallway, melted like butter.
