Fur, Paws, Feelings and Kisses

Summary:

Ian is a calm, composed lawyer who never expected a stray cat to turn her life upside down. She takes the cat in, only to be completely shocked when it suddenly transforms into a beautiful human. Flustered and confused, Ian finds herself pulled toward Stella’s warmth, and gentle affection.

As they spend more time together, soft touches, lingering kisses, and quiet moments slowly bring them closer and Ian and Stella discover that love can appear in the most unexpected, and magical, ways.

Work Text:

The evening air was cool as Ian made her way up the quiet street toward her house. She liked walking after work, mostly to clear her head, but tonight, the world felt quieter than usual.

Her shoes clicked against the pavement, echoing like metronomes in the empty street.

She usually preferred silence, but the stillness tonight carried a strange tension, as if something, or someone, was watching.

That’s when she heard it, a soft meow.

Ian froze. Her heart skipped a beat, not because she liked cats, but because she didn’t like cats, dogs, or any fluffy things with big eyes that demanded attention.

Yet, there it was. A small black cat, sitting at the edge of her driveway, its fur messy but glossy, eyes reflecting the streetlight like twin stars.

It tilted its head at her, and Ian could swear it was judging her.

“I do not need a cat.” she muttered, stepping closer.

The cat blinked slowly, unbothered by her tone, and padded a single step toward her. Ian exhaled sharply.

“Seriously, I–no. Go away.” she said, waving her hand like she could shoo it off.

The cat meowed softly, a sound that was almost commanding. Ian’s frown deepened. She hated the feeling of being commanded by a cat.

“Fine, leave. Just… leave.” she muttered under her breath. The cat didn’t move. Instead, it lowered itself to the ground, its tail flicking lazily like it was saying, 'I’ll go when I feel like it.'

Ian rolled her eyes and muttered, “Impossible.”

She unlocked her front door and stepped inside quickly, hoping the cat would take the hint.

She did not notice the tiny silhouette waiting for her at the edge of the yard the next morning.

Monday morning was hectic. Ian strode into the office lobby, briefcase in hand, mentally preparing for the stack of cases waiting on her desk.

Her coworkers greeted her with the usual mix of respect and mild awe, she had a reputation for being the top lawyer in the firm, brilliant but intimidating.

What she did not expect was the sight that greeted her as she rounded the corner to her office, the black cat.

It sat in the middle of her office floor, tail flicking, eyes fixed on her. Ian froze, mouth slightly open.

“Wh– how did you–” she started, but the cat simply blinked and meowed once, sharply, almost like it was laughing.

By the time she reached her desk, the cat had leapt onto her chair, circling it like it owned the place.

Papers slid off the desk as it walked across the surface. Ian tried to grab it, but it darted under her arms, landing in her lap with a soft plop.

“Uh… this is not happening.” Ian muttered. Her normally calm composure was crumbling as the cat purred contentedly on her legs.

Just then, Juun appeared, holding a cup of coffee and giving her a look that clearly said, you’re doomed.

“Ian? Why is there a cat on your lap?”Juun said, raising an eyebrow.

“It… followed me!” Ian exclaimed, nearly throwing her hands in the air. “I didn’t– look, I said no, okay?”

The cat, of course, ignored her entirely. It kneaded her trousers, tail flicking in satisfaction.

Ian glared at it, but her irritation was starting to waver under the absurdity of the situation.

“Wow,” Juun said, smirking. “It’s... kind of cute. And very stubborn.”

“That’s not the point!” Ian snapped, though the high pitch of her voice betrayed her panic. “It’s a stray! It’s– ugh! Get off!”

The cat meowed again, arching its back like a practiced show of superiority.

From across the office, A-na appeared, peeking in with a mischievous grin. “So… is this your new assistant?” she teased.

Ian shot her a glare that could freeze fire. “Don't start. This… creature, does not work here. I don’t like it. I–”

A-na laughed. “You don’t like it? You look like you’re about to cry because it’s sitting on your lap.”

“I am not crying! I am… dealing with a highly intrusive cat!” Ian said, finally giving in to her frustration. The cat purred louder as if in celebration.

Ye-on appeared from the next office, smirking. “Good luck with that. It seems to have chosen you.”

Ian sighed. “Chosen me? It’s a cat, not a–” She stopped mid-sentence as the cat batted a pen off her desk, sending it skittering across the floor.

“Ugh fine!” Ian muttered. “You win. Just don’t make a mess. I swear…”

The cat purred, settling comfortably on her lap, completely ignoring her protests.

By mid-morning, Ian had fully accepted the ridiculousness of the situation.

The cat followed her from her desk to the conference room, leaping onto chairs, sniffing papers, and occasionally pawing at her shoes.

Colleagues tried to sneak peeks, stifling giggles as Ian’s usual composed demeanor melted into panic and frustration.

A knock on her office door announced A-na’s arrival again, this time accompanied by Yuha. Ian’s eyes practically bulged.

“Hey, Ian,” A-na said cheerfully, leaning against the doorframe. “Your furry friend seems to like you.”

Ian crossed her arms, cheeks faintly red. “It’s not my friend, it’s… a trespasser. And I do not like it. End of story.”

Yuha smirked. “You don’t like it, huh?”

“No,” Ian said firmly, though the twitch of her lips betrayed that she wasn’t completely serious.

A-na crouched near the cat. “Cute little thing, isn’t it? You should give it a name.”

Ian froze, the thought making her anxious. “Name? I do not–” She stopped herself. “Fine. Call it… Stella. But only because it has eyes that looks like stars, not because I like it!”

The cat meowed as if approving the decision, then pawed gently at Ian’s sleeve. Ian groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose.

“Stella, huh?” Juun said, smirking from across the room. “You’ve officially lost control of your life.”

“I have not,” Ian said sharply, though she glanced down at Stella on her lap, purring as if victorious. “I'm only tolerating it temporarily.”

A-na grinned, teasing. “Sure, tolerating. Right.”

Ye-on shook her head, smiling gently. “Ian, you know you’ll end up keeping it. It’s already made itself at home in your life.”

Ian muttered under her breath, “Ridiculous, I dont like cats. Especially this one.”

Yet even as she walked home that night, she couldn’t shake the feeling that Stella, this tiny, smug creature, was going to be a bigger problem than she had ever anticipated.

The walk home from work was quiet, but not completely peaceful. Ian’s heels clicked against the pavement, echoing faintly, as she clutched her briefcase tightly.

Stella walked beside her, perfectly aware of every step she took.

“I still don’t understand why I’m letting you walk with me.” Ian muttered, frustrated, but her voice carried a subtle softness she didn’t fully register herself. “I said I don’t like cats, you’re stubborn.”

Stella meowed softly, brushing against her ankle, brushing aside Ian’s protests with feline audacity.

“I’m serious.” Ian continued, frowning down at the small black creature. “I am a professional. I do not have time for… whatever this is.”

The cat responded by jumping onto her shoulder that Ian nearly tripped. “Hey! Get down!” she barked, trying to maintain her balance, though a small part of her found Stella’s confidence amusing.

The cat, of course, ignored her entirely, perching like she belonged there.

By the time they reached Ian’s house, Ian was breathless, not from work, but from trying to keep a wild, purring creature in check.

She opened her front door, dragging Stella inside, where the little cat immediately jumped onto the couch like she owned the place.

“You are unbelievable.” Ian muttered, shutting the door. She sank onto the couch and crossed her arms, glaring at Stella.

The cat, unfazed, hopped onto her lap and began kneading her thighs with all the authority a cat could muster.

Ian froze. Her normally composed demeanor wavered as heat crept into her cheeks. “You… get off!” she said, waving her hands awkwardly.

Stella purred, her little green eyes fixed on Ian like she was silently laughing at her owner’s distress. Ian swatted at her lap, half in irritation, half in disbelief.

Ian pinched the bridge of her nose. She leaned back against the couch, sighing. “Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous.”

The two of them stayed like that for a moment, Stella kneading her lap as Ian’s tension slowly softened.

Ian reached down, almost instinctively, and stroked Stella’s soft fur. Her heart raced in a way that made her blush without her realizing.

“You’re annoying,” Ian whispered, her voice softer than intended. “But somehow… not entirely unbearable.”

Stella responded by nuzzling her neck, pressing her tiny head against the warmth of Ian’s skin. Ian froze, eyes widening.

Her cheeks flamed red, and she stammered, “S-stop... nuzzling me!”

The cat purred louder, kneading Ian’s lap with determined persistence, as if testing just how far she could push the boundaries.

Ian’s heart raced faster, and she had to look away, pretending to busy herself with the pillow beside her.

“I… I hate this.” she muttered. “Absolutely hate…”

But the truth was, she didn’t. Not completely.

Something warm and unexplainable bubbled in her chest, and she had to admit that she kind of liked it.

A week passed quickly, and Ian got used to Stella’s presence.

She followed Ian everywhere around the house, still kneading her lap, still curling against her when Ian read legal briefs late at night.

Ian often found herself talking to Stella, explaining her day, venting about difficult clients, or laughing quietly at Stella’s cat-like antics even though she was still technically a cat.

“You’re too smart for a cat.” Ian muttered one evening, scratching behind Stella’s ears. “Fine, you can stay. But don’t get any ideas.”

Stella meowed approvingly and nuzzled Ian’s neck again. Ian’s heart skipped.

She swallowed hard and tried to look busy, pretending she wasn’t aware of the warmth of the little cat pressing against her.

“You’re… ridiculous.” she whispered, leaning back and letting Stella curl on her lap. “But somehow… you’ve managed to sneak your way into my life.”

The cat purred, and Ian realized that her life had indeed changed. Slowly, Stella wasn’t just a nuisance or a stray anymore.

She was company, comfort. Even more, she was a mystery that Ian couldn’t stop thinking about.

One week later, Ian woke up to a strange weight on her bed. She had been sitting up in bed, still rubbing sleep from her eyes, expecting Stella in her usual cat form.

But it wasn’t Stella.

A beautiful woman, with long black hair spilling over her shoulders and bright green eyes that looked just like Stella’s, was climbing onto her lap.

Her soft smile was calm, almost playful. Ian’s jaw dropped.

“AAAAHHHHH!!! WHO ARE YOU?!” she screamed, throwing her hands up and leaning back against the pillows.

The woman laughed lightly, raising her hands in mock surrender. “I’m… the cat.”

“What?!” Ian sputtered, wide-eyed, trying to scramble backward. “This… this isn’t possible! Cats don’t become humans! How… what is happening?!”

The woman tilted her head, green eyes gleaming. “I am human, but I’m still Stella. Don’t worry. I’m still your cat.”

Ian’s mind spun.

She had screamed, flailed against the pillows, and now the human version of her cat was sitting comfortably in her lap, looking utterly relaxed.

“Get off my lap! You’re human!” she yelled, trying to push Stella gently, though Stella didn’t move.

“I am human,” Stella said, voice calm and cheerful. “But I’m still your cat.” She leaned forward slightly and nuzzled Ian’s neck, pressing her warm cheek against her. Ian’s heart nearly stopped.

“S-stop! I… I can’t,” Ian’s voice cracked as she tried to push Stella gently away, cheeks flaming. Her hands trembled, awkwardly sliding along Stella’s sides.

“Relax,” Stella whispered. “I’m still me. Just… taller.” She stroked Ian’s hand gently, the same care she had shown as a cat. “I promise, nothing else has changed.”

Ian’s face burned. “You’re still the cat? Sitting like this in my lap… nuzzling me?!”

“Exactly,” Stella replied, leaning against Ian’s chest as if this was completely normal. “I’m still your cat, Ian.”

Ian groaned, burying her face in her hands. “This… this is catastrophic!”

“You’ll get used to it,” Stella murmured, nuzzling her neck again. Ian shivered, heart racing. “Slowly.”

Ian peeked through her fingers, mind spinning. Her chest heated, cheeks flushed, and a small, reluctant thrill ran through her.

This was insane, absolutely insane.

“You’re human and you're... on top of me.” Ian’s voice trembled, half panicked and half in awe.

“I know,” Stella whispered softly, brushing a loose strand of hair behind Ian’s ear. “It’s a lot. But I’m still the same me. I haven’t changed. I’m still yours, well technically.”

Ian groaned, but the warmth in her chest made it impossible to push Stella away. She didn’t want to.

Somehow, despite the absurdity, the impossibility, the utter chaos of the situation, she didn’t want to let go.

“You… you’re impossible.” Ian muttered, exhaling shakily.

“I know.” Stella replied, nuzzling her neck one more time and letting out a soft, cat-like purr.

Ian could only groan again, realizing, maybe for the first time, that she was completely, utterly captivated.

The café was buzzing with afternoon chatter. Ian sat across from A-na, Juun, Ye-on, Yuha, Jiwoo, and Carmen, sipping her coffee quietly while trying to focus on a report she was reading.

“So, what did you guys think of the movie last night?” A-na asked, leaning back in her chair. She glanced at Ian, waiting for her to answer.

“I thought it was fine.” Ian said calmly, though her mind kept drifting. Stella’s absence left a strange emptiness she hadn’t expected.

Stella popped up in her thoughts with a mischievous smile, and before Ian could stop herself, she blurted out, “Actually… Stella has been uh… staying with me as a human.”

Silence fell over the table. Then six voices erupted almost at the same time.

“WHAT?” Juun shouted, spilling her tea slightly.

“OH MY GOD THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!” Carmen squealed, clapping her hands together.

“No way. You’re serious?” Ye-on asked, leaning forward so abruptly that her chair nearly tipped.

“She’s human? LIKE A PERSON?!” A-na’s jaw dropped, making her coffee cup wobble dangerously.

“Wait, Ian. You didn’t say… she actually talks now?” Jiwoo said, wide-eyed, staring at Ian as if she’d just revealed the world’s biggest scandal.

Yuha threw her hands up, laughing. “I cannot believe this. I’ve never been more excited to come over to someone’s house!”

The other people at the café were starting to turn their heads toward their table, drawn by the sudden shouting.

Ian groaned, hiding her face behind her cup.

“Stop shouting, please. Everyone, stop.” Ian said, her voice rising despite herself.

But her friends only laughed, unable to contain their excitement. “We need to see her!” Juun insisted.

“No. Absolutely not.” Ian said firmly, crossing her arms. “You are not coming to my house.”

“Too late.” A-na said, grabbing Yuha’s hand. “We’re coming anyway. Let’s go, girls.”

As they started gathering their things, Yuha leaned close to A-na, whispering, “If you’re going to drag us there, at least hold my hand properly.”

A-na giggled, lacing her fingers with Yuha’s, and shot Ian a mischievous glance over Yuha’s shoulder.

Meanwhile, Carmen rested her head lightly on Jiwoo’s shoulder, laughing softly. “This is going to be chaotic.” she murmured, and Jiwoo’s lips curved in a rare, small smile.

“I wouldn’t miss it for the world.” Jiwoo whispered back, fingers brushing Carmen’s hand.

Ian opened her mouth to protest, but the moment she blinked, everyone had already started dragging her along by force.

Juun nudged Ye-on, smirking. “This is going to be hilarious.” she said, and Ye-on shook her head, trying not to laugh, though the corners of her mouth betrayed her.

Ian groaned helplessly. “I hate all of you.”

When they arrived at Ian’s house, Stella was in the living room, pretending to read a book but clearly waiting for them.

Her green eyes sparkled when she spotted the group, and she tilted her head with a teasing smile.

“Welcome,” she said softly, her voice calm but playful. “I’ve been expecting you.”

The reactions were instant.

“WOW!” Carmen squealed. “She’s beautiful!”

“Oh my god. Ian, you’re living with this beauty?” A-na said, staring at Stella as if she were a work of art.

Right beside her, Yuha let out a very obvious and fake cough.

“Cough. Cough.”

A-na stiffened instantly. “Yuha?”

Another sharp cough. “Cough.”

A-na panicked. “I–I wasn’t staring! I was just… observing! Like a normal person! Very normal!”

Yuha narrowed her eyes. “Your normal looks suspicious.”

A-na swallowed hard. “I love you.”

“That’s what I thought.” Yuha said calmly, slipping her hand into A-na’s.

Ian blinked, thrown off by the chaos. “Stop staring.” she said, voice rising as she tried to sound strict, though the deep red creeping across her cheeks ruined the effect.

Juun pointed at Stella. “She’s still Stella, right? Like, our Stella? Your cat?”

Stella smiled and leaned forward slightly, nuzzling Ian’s shoulder lightly. “Exactly. Still me. Just… taller and less furry.”

Juun reached out instinctively, lightly brushing a hand along Stella’s arm. “Wow… she’s really human.” Juun said, eyes wide.

“STOP TOUCHING HER!” Ian barked, trying to pull Stella closer to her protectively, though the blush on her face betrayed that she was enjoying the attention far more than she wanted to admit.

Ye-on laughed softly. “Ian, she seems very comfortable with you.”

“I am very comfortable,” Stella said, brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear while eyeing Ian with a teasing glint. “Maybe too comfortable.”

“Too comfortable?” Ian repeated, narrowing her eyes. “You mean exactly where you’re supposed to be.”

Stella tilted her head and laughed softly, eyes sparkling.

She leaned in slightly closer, her hand brushing Ian’s as she reached for the book on the coffee table.

Ian caught her hand, letting it linger for just a moment longer than necessary.

“You’re teasing me.” Ian said, her voice low but firm.

“I might be.” Stella said softly, her lips curling into a playful smirk. She nuzzled Ian’s neck lightly, making Ian shiver and tighten her hold on her friend.

“You’re impossible.” Ian muttered, voice slightly breathless.

“I know.” Stella said, resting her head briefly on Ian’s shoulder, lingering longer than a casual touch.

The group settled on the couch, but the attention between Ian and Stella was palpable.

Stella leaned against Ian subtly, brushing against her thigh and shoulders occasionally under the guise of casual movement.

Ian’s fingers brushed Stella’s hair and arm when she “helped” adjust her position. Each touch lingered a second longer than necessary, filled with unspoken tension.

Meanwhile, the others added warmth to the scene.

A-na and Yuha were holding hands, quietly whispering to each other and smiling, occasionally glancing over at Ian and Stella with amused looks.

Jiwoo and Carmen were sitting nearby, Carmen leaning lightly on Jiwoo’s shoulder, sharing small, intimate laughter while keeping an eye on the unfolding chaos at Ian’s house.

Juun and Ye-on took the spot on the floor, sitting cross-legged with snacks between them.

Juun kept elbowing Ye-on every time Ian got flustered, whispering, “Girl, she’s actually combusting.”

Ye-on snorted each time, trying and failing to hide her grin as she watched Stella nuzzle Ian like it was the most normal thing in the world.

Stella’s playful side continued to shine. She leaned closer, brushing her lips lightly near Ian’s ear. “You’re very serious for someone who’s so obviously soft on me.”

Ian smirked, holding her gaze and tilting her head slightly. “I’m serious, but not blind. I know exactly what you’re doing.”

Stella laughed softly. “Do you?”

“Yes,” Ian said firmly, tracing a finger along the back of Stella’s hand. “And I don’t mind it.”

Their faces drew closer, teasing, flirtatious tension thick in the room.

Stella nuzzled Ian’s shoulder again, lingering hands brushing over each other while the group around them gawked and whispered in awe.

“You two are ridiculous.” Juun said quietly, shaking her head but smiling.

“Oh my god, Ian, look at her,” Carmen whispered to Jiwoo, grinning. “She’s teasing you so much.”

“I know,” Jiwoo said, smiling slightly, her eyes warm. “It’s kinda cute.”

The playful teasing escalated naturally.

Stella leaned against Ian, brushing her thigh against hers under the pretense of “making room.”

Ian caught the movement, letting her hand rest lightly over Stella’s, squeezing slightly in a casual, possessive gesture.

“You like that?” Stella whispered softly, tilting her head with a mischievous glint.

“I do.” Ian said firmly, voice low and commanding, tracing her thumb over the back of Stella’s hand.

Stella smiled, leaning in closer, brushing her lips lightly against Ian’s shoulder, lingering in a teasing kiss that made Ian shiver.

“You’re impossible.” Ian muttered, her hand tilting Stella’s chin up gently, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear.

“I know.” Stella said again softly, voice warm, teasing, playful.

The evening sun spilled warm light across Ian’s living room, painting the walls gold and casting long shadows across the floor.

Stella lounged on the couch, legs draped over Ian’s lap, head resting against her shoulder.

Ian’s fingers absently played with strands of Stella’s hair, brushing softly behind her ear.

Stella purred lightly, pressing her cheek against Ian’s neck. Ian’s chest tightened in a way she didn’t want to admit, but she couldn’t ignore it either.

“You know,” Stella said softly, “I could stay like this forever.”

Ian’s eyes met hers. Green eyes, familiar yet mesmerizing in human form. “I… I don’t know if that’s possible.” Her voice was low, controlled, but her fingers lingered in Stella’s hair a moment too long.

“Why not?” Stella whispered, tilting her head, a teasing glint in her eyes. “You’d let me, wouldn’t you?”

Ian exhaled, her breath catching slightly. “I… I’m not supposed to.”

“Not supposed to… fall in love with a cat?” Stella teased, her lips brushing lightly against Ian’s collarbone as she shifted closer. Ian stiffened. Her breath hitched.

“You’re impossible.” Ian muttered, gripping Stella’s waist gently but possessively.

Stella smiled, leaning in further, nuzzling Ian’s neck and letting her fingers brush against Ian’s hand.

Ian’s body betrayed her, heart racing, warmth spreading through her chest, fingers trembling ever so slightly as Stella pressed closer.

Their eyes met. The teasing smirk on Stella’s lips melted into a gentle smile. She whispered, “Can I… kiss you?”

Ian’s pulse thudded in her ears. Her lips parted slightly, a shiver running through her body. She didn’t hesitate, but her voice was firm. “Yes. But be careful.”

Stella leaned in slowly, giving Ian time to adjust. Her lips brushed against Ian’s softly at first, tentative and teasing.

Ian’s hand moved to Stella’s cheek, tilting her head slightly, pulling her closer. The kiss deepened, becoming more urgent, more intimate.

Stella’s hands curled around Ian’s shoulders, her body pressing against Ian’s.

Ian’s lips moved with hers in a slow, deliberate rhythm, guiding, dominant yet gentle. Stella’s soft gasps and gentle moans only made Ian’s heart race faster.

Time seemed to slow. Every brush of lips, every lingering touch, every soft nuzzle was amplified by the intensity of what was happening.

Ian’s hand traced the curve of Stella’s waist, and Stella’s fingers tangled lightly in Ian’s hair, pulling her closer with a soft sigh.

When they finally pulled back for air, Ian rested her forehead against Stella’s, chest heaving. “You… make this impossible.” she whispered.

“I think that’s the point.” Stella murmured, eyes sparkling with mischief and warmth.

The next morning, Ian woke feeling dizzy and overwhelmed. She couldn’t believe it had happened. A cat. Her cat. But now human, kissed her.

Ian tried to focus on her work, telling herself it was ridiculous to fall in love with a cat.

She buried herself in her files, stayed late at the office, and avoided returning home too early.

Days passed. Ian pretended to be busy, often canceling lunches, leaving Stella notes instead of seeing her in person.

She avoided the moments that made her heart race, the gentle touches, the way Stella leaned against her, the soft whispers and teasing glances.

Stella, of course, noticed immediately.

“Where have you been hiding?” Stella asked the first evening, her voice gentle but teasing. “You’ve been... avoiding me.”

“I’ve been busy,” Ian said, trying to keep her voice steady. “Work. Lots of work.”

“Busy avoiding me?” Stella asked softly, tilting her head, smiling, eyes warm. “You can’t possibly resist me for that long.”

Ian flinched, but couldn’t argue. Stella’s presence was impossible to ignore. And slowly, day by day, Ian’s resistance melted just a little more.

Halfway through the week, Ian could no longer deny the pull she felt toward Stella.

One evening, she returned home to find Stella sitting on the couch, feet tucked under her, looking at her expectantly.

Ian sat across from her, pretending to review a file, but Stella’s green eyes met hers, unrelenting and soft.

Stella reached out, her hand brushing Ian’s across the table. Ian didn’t pull away. Her chest tightened as Stella’s fingers lingered.

“You’re…” Stella whispered. “You’re finally letting yourself care.”

Ian swallowed, meeting Stella’s gaze. “I… I can’t stop thinking about you.”

Stella smiled, a soft, warm, teasing smile. “Good. Because I’ve been thinking about you too.”

And with that, Ian leaned across the table, taking Stella’s face gently in her hands.

Their lips met again, this time with the full force of pent-up longing. It was slow, intimate, and lingering.

Hands roamed lightly, brushing hair, tracing shoulders, holding waists.

Stella’s soft gasps and shivers made Ian’s heart race as she deepened the kiss, asserting herself gently, dominantly, yet lovingly.

When they finally pulled back, Stella rested her forehead against Ian’s. “I… I could get used to this.” she whispered.

Ian smiled, her hands lingering on Stella’s waist. “Me too.” she said softly, her voice warm and steady.

Stella’s eyes widened slightly, a soft blush coloring her cheeks. “You… mean it?”

“I do.” Ian murmured, gently brushing her thumb along Stella’s hip. “Every part of this. Every part of you.”

Stella leaned forward eagerly, capturing Ian’s lips in a deep, passionate kiss. Their hands intertwined, fingers curling tightly, lingering, exploring, teasing.

The kiss lasted long, unhurried, full of soft sighs, playful nibbles, and whispered promises.

“Ian,” Stella murmured between kisses, “you’re impossible.”

“And you,” Ian said, smirking against her lips. “are irresistible.”

The evening stretched on. They curled together on the couch, fingers brushing, Stella nuzzling Ian’s neck, occasionally teasingly biting her earlobe or whispering softly.

Ian’s hands lingered on Stella’s hips, arms, and back, teasing, exploring, holding her close.

Stella leaned into every touch, soft purring-like sounds escaping her lips as she pressed against Ian.

Each casual touch, lingering hand, playful whisper, and teasing kiss built the intimacy between them in ways Ian hadn’t thought possible.

Ian rested her forehead against Stella’s, hands gently holding hers.

Stella nuzzled her neck, teasing, playful, intimate. Ian’s lips brushed Stella’s temple softly, lingering against the soft skin.

“You’re mine.” Ian whispered, voice low, possessive, full of warmth and desire.

“I’m yours.” Stella replied, voice soft, teasing, and sweet, lips brushing Ian’s in a lingering kiss.

And in that quiet, golden evening, surrounded by warmth, laughter, and gentle love, Ian and Stella fell deeper into each other, fully, completely, and irrevocably.

The office was unusually quiet for a Tuesday morning.

Ian sat at her desk, reviewing case files, her pen tapping softly against the papers.

Her mind wasn’t on the work at all. Across the room, she noticed something out of the corner of her eye.

A-na and Yuha were sitting together near the lounge area, quietly sharing a document.

But it wasn’t the document that caught Ian’s attention, it was the way A-na gently brushed a stray strand of hair from Yuha’s face, the soft smile Yuha gave her, the way their hands occasionally touched.

And then there was Jiwoo and Carmen a few desks over.

Carmen leaned into Jiwoo, laughing softly at something only the two of them could hear.

Jiwoo rested her chin on Carmen’s shoulder, her arm draped over Carmen’s chair protectively. Every small gesture radiated intimacy and warmth.

Ian’s chest tightened. She tried to focus on her work, but she couldn’t stop watching them. The scene was intoxicating.

Without thinking, she whispered under her breath, more to herself than anyone else, “I miss Stella.”

Her head snapped up immediately when she realized Juun and Ye-on were standing just behind her, catching every word.

“Wait… what?” Juun said, eyes wide in disbelief.

Ye-on covered her mouth with her hand, clearly trying not to laugh. “Did you just…?”

Ian’s face went bright red, heat rushing to her ears. “I… I didn’t mean… I–”

“You mean… you and Stella?” Juun asked, narrowing her eyes in playful accusation.

“Y-yes!” Ian blurted out before she could stop herself.

The two friends froze for a moment, staring at her. Then Juun grinned. “Oh my god. That is amazing.”

Ye-on shook her head, still giggling. “You’re so obvious sometimes, Ian. I can’t believe it took this long for you to say it out loud.”

Ian buried her face in her hands, groaning. “I didn’t mean to… I–ugh! This is humiliating.”

Juun laughed softly. “Relax.”

Ye-on smirked. “I think everyone saw this coming eventually.”

Ian groaned again, but she couldn’t help the small smile tugging at her lips.

Somewhere in the back of her mind, she realized that seeing the other couples being so intimate had finally made her confront her feelings, she couldn’t deny them anymore.

“I really do miss her,” she whispered softly, her voice gentler this time. “I can’t wait to see her tonight.”

Juun and Ye-on exchanged amused glances, silently agreeing that Ian’s love for Stella was obvious and completely adorable.

The golden glow of the late afternoon sun filtered through the curtains, spilling across Ian’s living room.

Stella was curled up against her, small warmth pressed to her side, fingers intertwined loosely with Ian’s.

Ian’s thumb traced gentle circles on the back of Stella’s hand, lingering over her knuckles.

“You’re so warm.” Stella whispered, resting her head against Ian’s chest. “And soft, and perfect.”

Ian’s lips curved into a small, private smirk. “You’re impossible.” she murmured, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of Stella’s head. “I don’t know how I let you get this comfortable.”

Stella tilted her head, green eyes glinting with mischief. “You like it.”

“I might.” Ian admitted, voice low, dominant but tender. She tilted Stella’s chin up with her fingers, brushing a strand of hair from her cheek.

Stella replied softly, a playful smile tugging at her lips. She leaned closer, resting her head against Ian’s shoulder. They stayed like that for a long moment, just holding each other, warm and quiet.

Later, they decided to make tea together. Stella leaned against the counter as Ian poured the hot water, their hands brushing now and then.

Stella’s laughter echoed through the kitchen when Ian pretended to spill the tea slightly, and Ian couldn’t help but smile at how effortlessly charming Stella was.

Afterward, they curled up on the couch together, Stella resting her head on Ian’s chest, legs tucked under a shared blanket.

Ian stroked her hair gently, tracing patterns along her back with her fingertips.

“I like this.” Stella murmured softly. “Just being here... with you.”

Ian tilted her head down, pressing a soft kiss to Stella’s forehead. “Me too.”

The next evening, they went for a walk in the nearby park.

Stella held Ian’s hand, fingers laced, occasionally leaning into her when they passed under a lamppost.

They stopped by a small fountain, watching the water sparkle in the moonlight.

Stella rested her head lightly on Ian’s shoulder, letting out a soft sigh.

“You’re everything,” Stella whispered, cheek against Ian’s arm.

Ian wrapped an arm around her waist. “And you’re mine.” she murmured. They stayed like that for a few quiet moments, just holding each other, hearts beating together.

Back at Ian’s apartment, they cuddled on the couch, wrapped in a blanket, legs intertwined.

Stella nuzzled Ian’s neck, soft murmurs escaping her lips, and Ian pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her head, hands brushing her back and shoulders.

They whispered jokes, laughed quietly, and teased each other softly, growing closer through touch and shared moments.

By the time the moonlight filtered through the curtains, Ian and Stella were wrapped around each other.

Their soft laughter, gentle touches, and quiet cuddles made the room feel safe and warm.

“I love you.” Ian whispered, holding Stella close.

“I love you too.” Stella replied, pressing her forehead against Ian’s, smiling softly.

For the first time, Ian didn’t resist. She held Stella close, fingers brushing her hair and back, arms wrapped around her waist.

They stayed like that, completely in love.

They were together, fully and completely.

And it felt perfect.
