"Nene-chan! Nene-chan!" yelled a girl with short, bright pink hair.
The girl with long, light grayish green hair turned around and saw her girlfriend, Emu, running up to her with a big smile on her face.
"Emu! Don't yell too loud! Someone might catch you! You could've at least told me you were sneaking in Kamiyama!" Nene yelled. Emu, who went to a different school, constantly snuck into Nene's school so she could have lunch with Nene and her two other troupemates that were very in love with each other but too oblivious to understand each others feelings, Tsukasa and Rui.
"Ehehe, I missed you, Nene-chan." Emu joyfully said.
Nene's expression softened. Whenever she heard Emu's voice or saw her smile, she couldn't stay mad at her. Emu gleefully ran into Nene to give her a hug, and Nene returned it.
"Let's go eat lunch now, shall we?" asked Nene. Emu nodded and the two climbed the stairs to the rooftop, and swung open the doors.
No one really came here, so it was the perfect spot to eat out in the open without Emu being caught by teachers or other students. On the occasion someone did come up here, it was usually Rui and Tsukasa, or some of Emu's friends that went to Kamiyama. Either way, she wouldn't get caught. As the two girls are their lunch in comfortable silence, Emu called Nene's name.
"Nene-chan, promise me that you will love me forever, even after Wonderlands x Showtime disbands?" She asked.
The question made Nene almost choke on her sandwich. She knew that their disband was rapidly approaching, as Rui had to work at Arcland after he graduates this year, and Tsukasa would be studying abroad after he graduates this year, too. They would all keep in touch, of course, but with two members missing, One being the leader of the troupe and the other being their director, they would have to.
Nene put down her sandwich and smiled. "Of course I will. I'll never forget you, and I promise to visit your house everyday."
Emu smiled back, and hugged Nene.
"You'll never leave me, right?" She asked.
Nene looked at her girlfriends face to see tears welling up in her eyes, and put her arms around her with a smile on her face.
"Never." She replied.
Tears trickled down Emu's face, and hoped that she really would keep her promise. as she enjoyed the comfort of Nene's hug.
She wished she could live like this forever.

Liar. Liar, liar liar.
How could she leave me?
It had been about 4 months since Wonderlands x Showtime had disbanded. Rui is working at Arcland now, but has now relocated to Osaka, about six hours away from Shibuya. Tsukasa is studying abroad in England. As for Nene, well,
Nene was dead.
They found her in her room, with a bottle of pills next to her.
They called the paramedics, and they rushed her to the hospital
They told Emu she was dead for hours.
Shes gone.
Emu stared at the ceiling, and thought about Nene's promise to her around a year ago. The sky was clear and blue with the sun with big puffy white clouds in the air. Thinking about that day made her sick. She wanted to throw up.
Emu couldn't stop thinking why Nene would kill herself.
She kept looking at the last texts she and Nene sent to each other the night she did it.

Emu could've thought what she could've said would save her. What if she asked her to call that night? She definitely would wake up the next morning.
She encouraged everyone to tell everyone what was wrong, so they wouldn't be drowning and let themselves lean on each other.
But just like that, no note, no reason, no hint nor signs, just.. did it. Gone. Dead. just like that, in a blink of an eye.
Emu told Rui and Tsukasa the minute she got the news. Rui immediately called off at work and drove to Shibuya. Tsukasa got the next flight to Shibuya. When they got there, they all sat in what used to be Nene's room, and cried.
Her funeral was the following week. For the first time since many months ago, Emu felt hollow. Empty, cold and kept pinching herself, praying she would wake up with a good morning text by Nene on her phone. It never worked. It was never a dream. It was reality.
She was drowning in denial and guilt.
Emu finally managed to sit up, brushed away her tears with the sleeves of her shirt, and looked outside. It was cloudy, drizzling, and cold.
Emu went to her closet, ignored all her pink, bright, pastel, hoodies and found what she was looking for.
Nene's school blazer.
She put it on, grabbed a few flowers on her way out the door, took a deep breath, and went outside.
She walked in the rain for ten minutes before she approached where she wanted to be.
The cemetery.
She walked for a while before finding Nene's headstone and sat down.
She hugged the cold stone, that was wet from the rain. It would never beat the warm feeling Emu got when she hugged Nene.
She put down the flowers in front of the stone.
With tears in her eyes, she said;
"Hi Nene-chan, I miss you and love you."
