This is in kageyamas point of view
another day
another lie
to myself
and everyone else
father had created this identity to hide me
the weakness
the failure he had created
and to hide any trace of the cowardly son he abandoned.
everything was a facade even these feeling i hold for myself
are they true?
are they false.
Who knows?
not even i THE kageyama tobio knows..
i never did.
cast aside from the others, i sit
waiting for someone better to come and stumble across me
as kageyama was continuing his train of thoughts he hears a knock
"tobio? are you in there?"
kageyama dragged himself off of his massive king sized bed to go greet his great freind hinata that he had known for some time,as their dads were freinds
as if like a switch flipped as soon as he opened that door. light, color, and meaning hit him like a freight train. He didn't know how to describe all of this, feelings he had never felt before. Warmth and happiness flooded into his body like it had been waiting for him
"prince Shouyo? my mother didnt inform me you were coming..whats the occasion?"
"well yes! because of the ball happening in an hour your mom has invited me and my family over to wait for the ball in the meantime!
it took ya long enough! i was here for like an hour!"
"sorry,i was..sleeping"
"seriously? who gets up at 7pm?"
"me! what do you even want you dummy!"
"jeez who woke up on the wrong side of the bed?"
Hinata giggles out
"anyways,i wanted to ask,do you want to check out the new garden my mom helped me plant?"
"is that why your covered in dirt?"
"oh...AHHHH! I AM! MY DAD IS GOING TO KILL ME!"
"here,you can borrow this,just give it back before the night ends"
Kageyama hands Hinata an outfit that can only be said as elagant with frills andas well as a pair of white boots that match the outfit
"its not really mu-"
"WOAHWOAHWOAHWOAH!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH TOBIOOOO!!! YOU.ARE.A.LIFESAVER!!!"
Hinata hugs Kageyama
shocked Kageyama just stands there as hinata pulls him to the garden
"so?what are you going to be doing for the ball tonight?"
"probably just hide in a quiet place like i usually do..haha"
"mind if i joined you then?"
"no..why would i ever mind?"
"wait..REALLY?!? your always so bossy and mean?? what do you mea-
Hinatas rambles are cut off by his mom calling them down,
"Shouyo! Tobio! come down! its time to go!"
realizing it was time Kageyama headed for the door as Hinata scrambled to put his clothes on
"hurry up were going to be late"
"i know i just have to get this shoe on!..there!"
hinata ran to the door with kageyama trailing not to far behind
"first one to the carriage wins!"
without thinking kageyama sped past hinata making it to the carriage before hinata did
"heh...i made it before you!"
"oh Tobio? Hinata's family has to use a different carriage, and why is he in your clothes?"
"his got dirty so i let him borrow mine.."
