Chapter 1: I
Chapter Text
I
Whenever someone felt a ticklish feeling rising up their throat, remembering the one they cherish, the things coming out of their mouth would be words of love and affection.
But for Kishiar La Orr, only the metallic taste of blood and the remnants of petals slowly peeled off a flower inside of him coughing up and leaving his throat, thinking of his loved one as it left behind a bitter aftertaste.
He expected it, he thought. After all, his bloodline was eternally cursed to it. 'If there are two children and one of them never showed signs of it, that means the other has it.' His mother would warn before going to kindergarten, brushing their tousled blonde hair to a proper looking look.
Then his elder brother, Keilusa, found the one he wanted to love. He never showed signs of it, the metallic stench of blood flowing out his lips, nor flower petals that floated down his mouth.
So he expected it, to have the sickness of a painful love, even if his older brother and his wife convinced him that he could break the cycle. He couldn't, he fought back. How could he fight against something that has been going on for ages alone?
So like a patient man, he waited. He waited for his eyes to glow up at a person who struck his heart, waited for his ears to redden at the person who would stare at him in a way that makes him experience love. He waited for his body to be filled up with crushed and rotten petals, his veins being replaced with stems, the blood pumping his body being absorbed by the petals making him whole.
He didn't need to wait for a decade. A man with black hair and dark purple eyes approached him. It was during spring, when the students chatter flew over the cherry blossom tree in the center of the open area.
—
Kishiar La Orr was sitting down on one of the benches, laughing at his friend's joke, before a long, pale hand silently tapped his shoulder. Peering behind his shoulder, his eyes widened at a breathtaking figure. His expression quickly switched to an appropriate, kind smile as he greeted.
"Hello, what do you need?"
His friends, who were laughing like madmen just a few minutes ago, were oddly calm and quiet. The handsome man who approached him showed him a paper, which had a class schedule on it. His face was nonchalant, although a tinge of worry was shown.
"I'm not sure where the music room is.."
'Oh, was he the new classmate everyone was talking about?'
Thinking that he definitely regretted missing out on a face like his just for a stupid student council club, he nodded with a smile, tapping the paper. Glancing at his id wrapped around the collarneck of the uniform, his voice came out to be calm, perfect of any unnecessary emotions.
"You are Yuder Aile right? The new student in my class? I'll guide you to the music room."
Seeing the man nod with visible relief, a genuine laugh almost escaped his lips. Schooling his expression into an amiable one again, he waved his friends goodbye as he walked to the music room, the handsome student trailing behind him.
—
"Oh my god, are you the new student?"
The middle schooler— Finn Eldore's eyes shined, whispering to Yuder. Yuder nodded quietly, which made Kanna intervene as she stood up from the seat behind him.
"Yeah, actually. He was born in this area~ But then he had to go to the rural area during middle school. And then he transferred here after his older brother recommended him and after knowing that me and Gakane attend this school!"
Yuder avoided the curious gazes aimed at him after Kanna loudly proclaimed his life story. Slightly dragging the seat behind Kanna in case of a social situation, he looked around.
'..Besides Kanna's friends, most of the others were less than decent.'
Seeing the gazes full of scorn, superiority and lust directly thumping against his body ever since he got here, his eyebrows furrowed before relaxing.
'Was his name Kishiar? He was kinder to me than the others.'
Coming to the conclusion that he probably didn't know he came back from the rural town, he shook his head. Yuder, who was silently staring at Kanna, professionally steering the conversation in a way that Yuder himself didn't need to bother replying, suddenly spaced out.
'...He was quite handsome though. Ah, well. He's the same level as Ejain.'
Internally considering both the most handsome men in his life, he flinched as he saw a hand wave in front of his face. To his surprise, it was Kishiar La Orr, who was leaning against the empty seat with a nonchalant expression. Seeing that the man he was waving finally snap out of his delirium, Kishiar dropped his hand with a smile. Looking around the room, then glancing at the clock, he frowned.
"Hm, what were you thinking of? I don't think the first day should be stressful for you."
Kishiar La Orr asked. Yuder shook his head, standing up as he picked up his requirements for the subject. As he got his stuff silently, Kishiar La Orr was just observing him. After what felt like a decade passing by, Kishiar finally spoke.
"You're, well. We're both late for Art class. I'll just tell the teacher that you felt sick and went to the clinic."
Yuder nodded, bowing before walking out of the classroom. He paused as he awkwardly looked back, seeing an amused Kishiar La Orr strolling to him.
'I completely forgot to ask Kanna for a tour again.'
As if he knew his troubles, Kishiar La Orr laughed loudly before walking ahead of him, giving Yuder no time to react. Yuder, who felt embarrassed for a while, silently catched up to his pace.

II
“You woke up early?”
As Yuder rubbed his eyes, dragging his body to the dining room, a rough voice scoffed. He nodded, mumbling a ‘good morning, brother.’ and automatically sitting down, waiting for him to finish cooking breakfast.
His older brother, Enon, sighed as he placed down two plates on the table, dragging the chair backwards as he sat down on it.
“So, what’s with the change of schedule?”
“Im gonna study with a friend.”
“Hmm.”
Enon narrowed his eyes, his gaze full of suspicion and exasperation, eating the breakfast he made himself before standing up as a phone rang in the silent dinner room. Seeing him pull out his phone and grumble, Yuder raised his eyebrow.
“So, is this the same-age-as-me patient who gets the worst injury? Or is it the patient who always goes in when it gets really dangerous?”
“You punk. It's the former, the latter doesn’t pull this bullshit early in the morning.”
Enon cackled before draping his doctor coat, waving goodbye as he turned back and walked out of the door. Watching his figure slowly disappearing, Yuder placed down his fork. Staring at the empty dishes on the table, a vein throbbed in his neck.
‘Did he leave early on purpose??’
—
“Hey, pretty boy! Thinking about selling your body?”
“Ah, fuck off James!”
Kanna defended Yuder, covering his ears as Kanna cursed him out loudly. Gakane was also there, his eyes narrowing as he stood in front of Yuder. Yuder rolled his eyes internally, tapping Kanna’s hands to indicate it was alright.
‘The more this happens, the more their reaction speed increases.’
He has been called ugly names since the start of the semester, so he was used to such things. But his friends weren’t, like they were hearing this for the first time. James smirked, shrugging as he looked around. Seeing that their attention was on him, he loudly proclaimed, pointing at him.
“Why? He got a good face, and a good body! Even people are willing to play with dirty water!”
“You fucking bast—”
“It's alright.”
Yuder sighed, gently pulling Kanna’s hands off before eyeing the loud man. Kanna, who was going to burst with anger after seeing the crowd watch or cheer him on, paused with uncertainty in her eyes. As Yuder stepped in front of Gakane, Gakane called him.
“Yuder.”
Yuder shook his head and smiled for a split second, before facing the man.
“Can you shut the fuck up? I'm a commoner, yet I rank 1016 ranks above you? Isn’t there 1018 students in the batch? At least I got the brains and the looks?”
Yuder sneered. Those who were siding with James clamped their mouths closed as they darted their gazes around, embarrassed. Those who were watching silently nodded, some looked embarrassed to have such a classmate. James' face turned pale as he felt the crowd’s opinion go against his.
“Well, you probably cheated then! Maybe you slept with the teacher—”
“Hearing false accusations is one thing. What's the problem here, Kanna Wand and Gakane Bolunwald?”
A calm voice chimed out. Seeing the crowd part ways to make a path, Yuder curiously looked over. To his surprise, it was Kishiar La Orr. Along with Nathan Zuckerman, who bowed slightly as he made eye contact with Yuder, two of them have made the atmosphere more silent.
“President!”
Gakane beamed, grinning. Kanna nodded respectfully as she rummaged through her pockets, bringing out her phone. As she handed it to him without hesitation, Yuder glanced at the phone screen that appeared for a split second. His eyes widened momentarily, staring at Kanna like he never knew her.
‘A recording?’
Yuder started wishing James good luck. Seeing Kishiar nod and show the screen at James, which showed a video recording, James' skin was as pale as it could ever be.
“Well, thank you James. Expect to be called to the principal office.. right now.”
Kishiar gestured to the direction of the office. Nathan walked forward, guiding him forcefully to the principal office.
“Wow, good riddance!”
Kanna huffed, staring resentfully at James. Gakane nodded, staring at a group that called his name. He waved Kanna goodbye.
The room quickly drowned in mutters, as people slowly walked to their respective areas. Kishiar, who was now standing in front of Yuder, smiled genuinely.
“I never knew you could speak like that?”
“If you hear the same things every second, you can even speak worse than me.”
“Hmm. Well, I’d like to apologize. As the student council, I did not ensure that the community was safe enough.”
Kishiar scratched his cheek, genuinely ashamed. Yuder shrugged, looking at the people who were gossiping about him in the hallways.
“Isn't it the students' fault? You're fine.”
“I do agree with that. Ah, anyway. I doubt you'd need someone to tell off the bullies. But feel free to tell me.”
Kanna, who was silently observing from afar, shook her head with a glance of pity to Kishiar. Of course, the man in question and Yuder were completely unaware of such a gaze and what it signified
—
After that situation, both of them started an unusual friendship. It was to the point where Kishiar asked Yuder's seatmate to switch with him. The student nodded obediently, as he finally moved away from him.
Yuder didn't bother to internally sneer at the airheaded classmate. Kishiar La Orr knew that he was one of them, those who didn’t like Yuder as much as others do, and that he took complete advantage of it so that they could spend more time together.
Ignoring the grinning Kishiar beside him, he focused his gaze on the blackboard filled with complex equations. As he silently tapped his pen, his brows furrowed, a shy hand tapped his shoulder. Of course, the owner of the hand was anything but shy. He waved to him silently before raising his hand, answering an equation that the teacher just finished making.
‘How the hell is he that smart?’
Looking at him with an expression of amazement, Kishiar glanced at him with a smile before his body flinched. Raising his hands to go to the lavatory, Kishiar quickly dashed out of the classroom. Noticing the flush rising above his ears, Yuder tilted his head.
‘Is he sick? He looks cute. Wait. Cute? Cute???’
Smacking his cheeks internally, he decided to look at the complex equations forming on the board instead of focusing on the warm feeling in his chest, staring at the back of his friend who was disappearing from the window.
Chapter 3: III
Chapter Text
‘So I do like him.’
Feeling his heart loudly thump against his body, he splashed water over his face. As the water slowly dripped off his bangs and onto his eyelashes, he stared at the reflection shown on the mirror.
‘I can't fall in love with him. Not him, not anyone.’
Feeling his heart tightening, he slowly walked back to the classroom. Afterwards, he excused himself, saying that he had a student council meeting.
Of course, this so-called meeting was composed of Kishiar and Nathan in the student council lounge. Nathan, seeing Kishiar walk without Yuder, had a questioning gaze. Kishiar laughed, wiping the bangs hazardly sticking on his forehead as he crouched on the carpeted floor near the cushioned sofa. Looking up, his expression was one of an exaggerated smile.
“Nathan, I like Yuder.”
“So you are implying you got the Hanahaki disease.”
Kishiar, who was drinking water, almost spat it out as he heard Nathan’s nonchalant voice. Coughing as he hit his chest, he looked at Nathan with a frown.
“Is my love one sided?”
“I don't think Yuder Aile even knows the o in one sided love.”
Nathan shrugged. Kishiar groaned, sitting down on the floor as he held his head.
“Is there a chance that it could be better?”
“...President, I advise you to crush on someone who can actually reciprocate it.”
“Ahh, I heard that so many times. You know how love is unpredictable. If I die, I die.”
“Kishiar.”
Kishiar groaned, feeling Nathan’s fiery gaze locked on him. He waved it off, leaning his back on the sofa.
“This crush might pass, so no worries.”
“..If you say so.”
—
He was truly going to curse Nathan for eternity. The words uttered four months ago biting him back.
Cough.
Blood tainted his lower lips as petals fell out of his lips, as if mocking his 'admiring feelings' for Yuder Aile. As if to rub his feelings over his pale face, the petals were starting to rot.
Kishiar, who was hunched over the toilet bowl, laughed as more petals spilled out of his throat. He laughed like the whole world wanted to humiliate him, before his throat got covered. He coughed, feeling the ticklishness of this throat ringing against his entire body.
Standing up with shaken legs, he walked out of the bathroom and all the way to the living room, where his brother and his wife were calmly sitting down at the sofa. Seeing the curious gazes aimed at him, he smiled softly as he felt the static in his legs worsen.
"It got worse."
There was no need for exclamation. Keilusa quickly got up, walking to the kitchen as Faria stood up too, ushering Kishiar to sit down beside her. As they both sat down on the grey sofa, Faria quietly rubbed Kishiar's back in a circular motion, watching Kishiar, the "perfect, mature and intelligent person" cry.
"If I die, he'll be the murderer because my greediness for him killed me. He'll be haunted, Faria. Why can't I love quietly and peacefully?"
Faria slowly hummed, continuing to rub his back in a circular motion. Keilusa appeared, holding a porcelain cup with mist dancing above it. Putting it down on the glass table, he sat down opposite Faria, staring at his trembling hands.
"Love comes not by choice, but by coincidence. It's, alright. He won't be haunted, and you won't die.”
Kishiar, who was silently listening, suddenly let out a sharp laugh. A laugh like he knew he was lying, a laugh like he already gave up his life.
“He sees me more as a friend, how will he love me?”
Chapter 4: IV
Chapter Text
IV
Kishiar La Orr was different. It was
what Yuder Aile thought of. Yuder Aile, his seatmate. Yuder Aile, his friend who always eats with him, who always walks with him in the hallways and who studies alongside Kishiar.
Something happened to him, and it was only him who noticed. Kishiar La Orr was albeit more paler, more thinner, his smile barely even reaching his cheeks. The sparkle on his eyes were slowly being replaced by tiredness like he was gonna die.
With the unknown sensation that he should tell someone (to save him, because how could Yuder, a dirty, stupid and ugly commoner dare to save a man as beautiful and perfect as him?) He started reaching out for anyone Kishiar was close to.
But no one noticed anything unusual. Even Nathan Zuckerman didn't notice anything, shaking his head as he looked at Yuder with a unreadable gaze. It was after lunch, when Kishiar had to go early because of a family event. Nathan quietly bit his food, staring at the sky.
“If you noticed that he's different, then I believe you.”
If you say so, then your right. He has heard this opinion many times. From Kanna Wand, to even his elder brother he found after a through search through his Instagram.
Keilusa: If you say he's acting different, then he is.
It was an undeniable agreement. Like Yuder Aile, who only attended the school for less then a year, knew more than Kishiar’s decades-long friends and his older brother. It was stupid, but he too felt convinced that he should believe his guts.
So, with the confidence, he decided to approach Kishiar.
—
Flowers. Flowers were seen everywhere. From lilacs beautifully blooming in a overly crowded glass vase, to a rose bouquet stashed in the corner of the room. Flowers surrounded the room, the aroma of fresh flowers covering a tinge of metallic smell.
Looking at those flowers, that came out of his heart and his lungs, he laughed. He laughed until new flowers were dropping onto the carpet, blood spilling on the petals as it stained the white rose red.
He silently picked up the flowers, gathering them before making them into another bouquet. He wanted to give them all to Yuder, to show his love that has been worsening over months and months— (isn't it selfish? What if he dies after giving the flowers? What if he discovered that he had the disease? Is he that greedy that even in the afterlife he hoped that Yuder Aile would love atleast a part of him after he died and suffer in regret?)
It's useless. Kishiar coldly gazed at the flowers. It was utterly useless and disgusting. Who would even dare to keep flowers even if they unconditionally loved him back? Only a person sick in the head would do that
Walking to his phone that dinged, his eyes lit up momentarily, his complexion shining before it disappeared, like an illusion.
Yuder: Wanna meet?
Yuder: [frog tilting it's head, a question mark beside it]
Kishiar: Of course, cafe?
Yuder: yea
Laughing at his cute reactions (I can suffer today and rest tomorrow forever.) He walked to his closet, picked out his best outfit, and quickly changed. Before he walked out of his room, he quickly turned. Walking to his table, he opened the table drawer and placed the letter down in advance.
He quickly rushed out, opening his car and driving to the location. As he drove, a red light blinked on the stoplight. He was texting Yuder on a red light, a smile on his lips.
Kishiar: I love you.
Everyday, he has always texted the same sentence, but he never sent it. Everyday, before he slept, when he came back from school, and when his elder brother was talking to his wife. It was like a unsaid schedule, which was oddly more consistent then anything he did in life.
In the end, he always deleted it. But this time, as he belatedly realized the light flashing against his eyes and the screech of an uncontrollable car driving closer to him, he realized that it would be forever stuck on his phone. In that moment, a small smile appeared on the selfish man’s face.
Chapter 5: V
Chapter Text
V
‘Where’s Kishiar?’
It has been atleast an hour since he replied.
If he's busy, then he should've declined.
‘I can wait.’
‘…? Ah, what the hell. My ear is ringing.’
…
Looking outside the cafe window, he saw an ambulance quickly drive past. He didn't notice that it was raining, the water swimming on the road harshly slapping against the window.
It was a horrible day. He didn't have an umbrella, and he didn't have anything to protect him from the rain. He had a headache due to the unexpected change of the weather, with his ear ringing.
‘What did Enon say.. ringing ears are bad omen?’
He waited until his phone ringed. Seeing Kishiar's number on the screen, he prepared to forgive him. That he couldn't go? It was alright, he was a busy man anyway. That he was in traffic? It was alright, he could always wait.
They had enough time in this world anyway. If they couldn’t talk now, Yuder was willing to wait. For a day, a week, a month, or until they grow old and live different lives.
So with a light heart, he accepted it, waiting for his voice. Waiting for the pouting voice, or the annoyed voice aimed at anything but him. Instead, what entered his ears was an entirely different voice, a tad bit of awkwardness and pity.
“Is this Kishiar La Orr’s friend? He has been hit by a truck and is in critical condition, please go to ##### hospital. The last thing on his screen was him texting you… so…”
Still holding the phone by his ear, he felt like his world had stopped rotating, that the time suddenly left both of them. That time abandoned them, and always planned to.
…
…
…
Yuder silently sat down, waiting for the familiar sound of his breath to cover his room. Instead, it was him. Lying down, his face peaceful. It looked like his usual looks, a handsome man with shining skin.
He silently reached out for the limp hand, wrapping the cold hand around his.
“I like you.”
I like you so much, I thought of you everyday ever since I met you. I hesitated to stay with you, because I’d fall for you the more I stayed. But you were always looking for me, and how could I decline? You were my first love, you were the one who was always kind to me.
So I like you, I love you. Can't you be awake to accept my confession for one last time?
Holding Kishiar’s hands, his body trembled until tears spilled out of his eyes. Eventually, a knock rang from outside. Roughly wiping his tears, he opened the door. Outside was a man with ash grey hair, tilting his head with a frown.
“Big brother.”
“Huh? Since when were you here? Do you have a relationship with this patient?”
Enon tidied his hair, peering behind Yuder’s shoulders. Seeing Enon kindly speak to him with an observant gaze, Yuder nodded quietly, glancing at his face.
“He’s that guy, you know.”
“That guy…. Ah? The guy you have… a crush on?”
Seeing his narrowed eyes honing in onto his face, Yuder barely nodded. Enon’s eyes widened before he let out a huge sigh, muttering about ‘young people nowadays,’ patting his shoulders pitifully as if to indicate for him to move.
Yuder sidestepped, his eyes showing a hint of confusion. Enon, who glanced at them continuously, ignored his questioning gaze as he stretched his neck.
“Hm. How do I say this? He might get better soon.”
“The doctor said it would take atleast 3 years?”
“Yeah, 3 years. Um, how do I explain….”
Enon, who rarely hesitated when saying things to Yuder, shut his mouth without any explanation. Yuder decided to shrug it off, seeing how avoidant he was of the topic.
‘Did he have an illness?’
As Yuder was silently thinking, he saw Enon taking his blood. Finally, after a comfortable yet unsettling silence, Enon waved. Seeing that as a signal to leave, he said a short farewell and left the hospital room.
…
Yuder: Excuse me
Yuder: Is it okay if we meet?
Keilusa: Of course. We can talk in the Nelarn coffee shop
Chapter 6: VI
Chapter Text
VI
“Flowers?”
Yuder unconsciously blurted out, seeing the bouquet of flowers Keilusa was bringing. Seeing that Yuder was brewing some weird thoughts about it, Keilusa sighed.
“Supposedly, all the flowers Kishiar… collected were for you. So I brought one here, the others are being delivered to your apartment. Don’t misunderstand, I have a wife.”
Accepting the flowers with an embarrassed nod, Keilusa sat down in the chair in front of him, the scent of coffee filling up the silence. He was silently sitting down, like he was waiting for a question that had been haunting Yuder. Finally, Yuder opened his mouth.
“Did Kishiar La Orr have an illness?”
“It's better to call it a condition. Have you ever heard of the Hanahaki disease?”
He answered immediately. Seeing Yuder shake his head, Keilusa smiled bitterly. He leaned back on his seat, looking outside of the window.
“It's where a person that experiences a one-sided relationship coughs up petals. It only stops when the person is aware that their love is reciprocated. In a way, it's incurable.”
“How long.. Has he suffered for?”
Yuder felt his heart sink, an instinctive feeling like he knew the answer rising in the depths of his mind. It was a ridiculous thought, a thought that didn’t have plausibility. Kishiar La Orr treated him like normal, like how someone would treat their best friend.
So, with the certainly that he wasn't the person of Kishiar’s affection, he looked straight at Keilusa. Keilusa avoided his gaze, muttering.
“..Six months.”
It was dead silent for a moment. Yuder Aile didn't dare to breath for four seconds. With trembling hands, he asked.
“Who was it?”
“You…”
It finally hit him. Kishiar La Orr, who was suffering from a ‘one-sided’ love, had loved him. And Yuder, who thought he was having a ‘one-sided’ love, had loved him too.
‘If..’
If he had confessed to him, if he wasn't afraid that their friendship might break, If Yuder was brave. Then Kishiar La Orr would've been saved.
He would've been bringing those flowers, laughing about how he basically birthed them. He would've been kissing Yuder on the cheeks, murmuring about how stupid he was to think that Yuder didn't like him back.
They would've loved eachother with the time they could've had. They would've secretly held hands under the table, or kiss in the bathroom stall during their break.
Keilusa, who was staring silently at Yuder’s bowed head, apologized after seeing his expression.
“Im sorry. I meant to imply it wasn't your fault. According to the doctors, Kishiar could be saved if he gone through surgery beforehand.”
“..Surgery?”
“To be exact, it's a surgery to remove one’s emotions. Of course, when they asked if they can do it now.. I didn't want that to happen.”
Swallowing the rest of the words he wanted to say, Keilusa shook his head. Yuder’s eyes shook before closing them, a small nod agreeing with his choice. If he was in Keilusa's position, he would've thought the same.
'If Kishiar didn't do it before, then there must be a reason.'
Keilusa glanced at the watch on his wrist and stood up, muttering a farewell as he glanced behind to face Yuder. He left a message before he left the cafe. Yuder was sitting there blankly, the voices of people talking and the whirling of the coffee machine only entering his ears now.
“Kishiar is still alive. So we should wait."

VII
“How about it?”
He smiled automatically, but his eyes told a different story. Kishiar blinked dumbfounded, his mind feeling like it was blank, a cloud forming in the memories that he recalled.
He didn’t remember what he was doing before the conversation, he only remembered that everything felt familiar. But an instinctive feeling stabbed through his mind
Something felt off, but everything was normal. A man with black hair and pale skin stood in front of him, around four steps away from him. His mouth automatically replied for him.
“Hmm, do we have the luxury to even go out on a date?”
Hearing the teasing tone, the man scoffed, his nonchalant gaze looking at the window beside them. The view of the city was below them as he replied.
“So? We need a break. The others can handle it.”
Kishiar laughed, his body automatically moving to hug him by the waist. The man leaned on his chest, a warm feeling nuzzling his heart. Kishiar's gaze still had a tinge of confusion, but he just decided to observe himself.
“Hm, alright. Then shall we go missing for a month?”
“A month is too… no, actually. We can.”
The man muttered, taking back his words. Kishiar hummed, lowering his face to his hair. The hair gently tickled his nose as he pulled him closer. The man ignored it as if it was normal, listening things he wanted them to do.
“Let's go to the beach, and then let's go to….”
Hearing the nonchalant man have a tinge of excitement in his voice, Kishiar listened silently.
Then, it all went black. Kishiar La Orr had no more memories of what happened in his slumber. He didn't realize that in the dream, the man's gaze also held confusion as Kishiar spoke, like he too was in a dreamlike state.
—
Kishiar La Orr woke up with a throbbing headache, fluttering his eyes open, the light harshly shone on him. As his eyes adjusted to the light, he slowly sat up on the white bed. He sat still, observing his body.
‘Did.. I recover?’
Looking around the white hospital room, his eyes zoned in on a small letter on the table beside him. Quietly reading it, he unconsciously laughed.
[I got a new phone for you, since the old one is broken. Same SIM, if your awake call us — Keilusa]
Holding the phone, he started to dial a number. As the phone rang, the person picked up almost immediately. As an awkward silence descended on the phone, Kishiar greeted with a sheepish smile.
“Hello, Yuder?”
— ..Kishiar? No wait, hold on. I’ll go there immediately.
“Ah? No rush, it's not like my health's deteriorating.”
— Then.. Alright, just stay there.
“Yes yes, drive safely.”
Hearing the familiar voice talk to him, Kishiar silently laid on the hospital bed happily. After a while, Yuder Aile entered the room, along with Enon.
“..Ah, hello Sir?”
Yuder, who was walking in, paused and whirled his head back to Enon at Kishiar’s respectful greeting. Enon ignored his gaze, walking straight to Kishiar as he observed him. Kishiar silently sat still, waiting for Enon’s observation. Shrugging, he talked to him in a nonchalant voice.
“So it seems you're not suffering anymore, congratulations.”
‘So I was right.’
Kishiar nodded with a light heart, the worries in his mind slowly dissipating. As he let that sink in, his happiness suddenly went into a halt. Instinctively looking at Yuder, his face seemed to come to the same process. Both of them stared at each other
“Oh, so you both just realized it?”
Sitting on the visitor chair nonchalantly, Enon flicked his fingers to Yuder and Kishiar then clapped with a smile that didn't reach his face.
“Congratulations, although it's an indirect confession.”
‘???’
He looked at Enon like he was speaking bullshit. Looking once again at Yuder, he noticed his neck and ears turning red. Kishiar La Orr blurted out his thoughts, his face laced with confusion.
“What the hell happened while I was asleep?”
—
“So your saying, you confessed to me while I was in the coma, I managed to hear you, and my body acknowledged that my love wasn't one sided?”
“Well, people in coma-like states can still manage to hear.”
Enon added with a grunt. Kishiar La Orr rubbed his face, his cheeks blushing as he looked at Yuder, who sat beside him on the bed.
“Mm. So we're technically dating now?”
“That depends on you! I'm just a doctor.”
Enon screeched, standing up as he shut the door. Kishiar La Orr silently stared at the closed door before looking at Yuder. Yuder exhaled.
“Can I lay my head on your shoulder?”
“Mm? Sure.”
Reaching his hand out to Yuder, he slowly pushed his head to his shoulders. Yuder's body tensed before relaxing, the black hair tickling his cheeks.
“... Has Enon told you it's been a year?”
“A year? What the fu.. hell?”
Kishiar unconsciously cursed. Feeling Yuder’s body trembling, Kishiar La Orr had a small smile creeping up his face.
“Hm, yeah. Also.. I received the flowers.”
Kishiar La Orr’s face paused. Feeling a awkward atmosphere, Yuder Aile tapped his thighs, drawing circles.
“I didn't really like flowers. But it's the first time that I wanted to take care of one. Well, it came out of your body, so.”
‘Ah, I'm fucked.’
“Yuder, can you look at me?”
Seeing Yuder obediently turn his head, Kishiar pounced on him like a hungry tiger. Devouring his tongue, Yuder let out a slight moan before pushing his body back, the slick of saliva string on their lips. Yuder's face quickly burned before he wiped it.
“Atleast give me a warning..”
“If I do, can I kiss you again?”
“...Yes.”

Hello! I am Q (Kyuu), the anonymous author of “So, what is your answer?” !
To be honest, this isn't my first rodeo, writing a fic for this fandom~ But it's certainly the first time I ever managed to finish a multi chapter fic in any fandom at all since majority of my fics are finished but extremely short, or it's just discontinued kekw
Because of the turning discord, I suddenly had no more writing block and had ideas for this fic~ I also found out that writing on my phone is better than on the PC !! ×-× (and I write angst faster than fluff!)
With my excitement to see Kishiar suffer, and with a~lot of time on my hands! I! Finished! It!
Actually, right now on November 16, I have finished everything~ But I'm planning to send the chapters in separate dates (or not~ really depends kekw kekw I might ask the discord server!)
Of course, I'm actually planning to write side stories~ or I'm gonna go straight to writing another fic! Of course, I need! inspiration!
Feel free to comment on something you want to see written, or expect that an idea from the turning server will be made a fic by me!
I hope you liked it, because I sure as hell do !!!! kekw kekw
Ah~ Feel free to talk to me in discord! @q_kyuuanon
Once again, this is author-nim Q signing out! See you on the next fic >0<!!!
Notes:
[ Extra ! ! ! ]
When I first started writing SWIYA, it was actually a time where I was extremely tired. It was probably around 12 AM when I thought about Hanahaki AU where Kishiar suffers, and since then I had many ideas. So I wrote Chapter 1-2 on the night itself while I was trying to sleep and I continued until today ~ ★ ♪
