“Onii!”
Izuku startled as his door burst open, practically jumping out of his skin at the bang that shook the room.
“Wha- woah, woah, woah!” He stood instantly and crossed his room in large paces. You weren’t one to cry. In fact, he couldn’t remember the last time he saw you cry. This was new.
You shoved yourself into your older brother quickly, hiding your face in his hoodie. Trembling. He grabbed you back and held you close.
“Th-they-.. They..”
Izuku frowned. His voice softened. “Again..?”
You didn’t answer. He sighed gently and tried not to startle you as he walked backwards towards his bed. This wasn’t the first time you’d come running to him. And it wasn’t the first time he’d felt this powerless to stop it. Being born quirkless was the biggest challenge for the both of you.
As he lowered himself to sit, he pushed you gently to sit next to him. “It’s okay…”
He’d get into UA. He looked down at you, crying softer now. He’d get into UA and stop this. You’d never cry again. He’d be the big brother you deserved, and he’d protect you. He’d bleed himself dry to get there for you.
“I’m sorry, Nii..”
“Don’t be…”
