Work Text:
Morning light filtered into their bedroom as Dorothy lay stroking Rose’s soft hair.
“Rose, honey, I have to get up,” she murmured.
Rose pouted dramatically, inching closer with a tiny whine. “Stay.”
Dorothy chuckled, brushing a thumb along Rose’s cheek. “I have to get ready for work.”
Rose shook her head. “Just a few more minutes.”
Dorothy felt her resistance melt. She leaned in, kissing Rose gently, earning a delighted giggle.
“Okay,” Dorothy whispered, smiling. “Just a few more minutes.”
She kissed Rose again, slower this time, letting the morning slip away around them in their warm, quiet bed together.
