It wasn't supposed to end up like this, Armin thought. Annoyed, he put aside his console, after losing yet another time in a row and reached for his glass of punch.
Nathaniel joined him in Iris' kitchen.
"What even was that?" he started.
"I don't wanna talk about it" Armin answered. "Kentin always says he had already moved on from her, never thought he'd make such a fuss about a spin the bottle kiss."
Nathaniel leaned on the furniture, next to Armin.
"Are you this bummed out just because you didn't get to kiss Candy?"
"No" Armin said, getting back to playing on the console "I'm pissed because now Kentin is probably gonna act like a dick towards me for the next week or so" he stated. "Mostly. I guess i kinda hoped for that kiss."
"I didn't know you were into her."
"I'm not. It could've been anyone else, honestly." He shrugged. "Well, almost anyone. I just wanted to have some fun and now Kentin wants to kill me. What a bummer..." Armin sighed.
Nathaniel hesitated for a moment, but then asked:
"Wanna make out with me?" Nathaniel wanted to believe it was the alcohol in this blood that made him ask that. The almost nonexistent alcohol from the punch he barely even drank. Yes, he absolutely was not attracted to his best friend, promise.
Armin looked at him, shocked.
"Are you for real? God, you really aren't that goody two shoes mister president anymore, are you?" Armin tried hard not to make fun of him, but it wasn't easy. He drinks, he takes his shirt off in front of everyone and now this? What a guy.
"Shut up." Nath rolled his eyes. "I'm just taking pity on you."
"You're what now?" Armin laughed.
"I figured it might be a while before you get another chance to kiss someone. You're a league player after all" Nathaniel explained.
"What the hell, man?" Armin huffed. "You play league too!? With me!?"
Well, he was right here, unfortunately. Maybe it was a sign to finally stop playing.
"...And do you see me dating anyone?" he asked, defeated, yet still making his point.
"...Fair. But for your information I have kissed before." Nathaniel sent him a doubtful look, so he continued: "I had a girlfriend in middle school."
"So before you started playing league then?"
"What? No!" Armin denied, but soon after took a moment to think. "...Actually... Yeah..."
"Told you."
"You really can be an asshole sometimes, you know that?" Armin jabbed Nath with his elbow, as they laughed. After a few second, he added: "Are you still in for that make out?"
"...Yeah, I am" He admitted.
Anyone can have a little fun at a party sometimes, there's nothing wrong with kissing your bestie after all, right?
A glass fell on the kitchen floor and shattered, as Alexy walked in right on his brother and Nath joined in a passionate kiss.
"Holy shit."
Yeah, they're gonna have some explaining to do now...
