This book takes place early season 3.
Hey everyone, welcome to my fanfic!! Hopefully you'll like it. Please be aware I'm not much of a writer, I do good on my AP and IB literature tests though !! I like to write fanfics in the same style of the show I'm writing it on, so expect something pretty similar to The Rookie !!
BIG DISCLAIMER: At the time of writing THIS DISCLAIMER, I am on Season 2 Episode 10 of this show. Please don't go crazy on me for something I don't know is canon yet, lol. I am aware of only minor spoilers that I like to ignore, but please refrain from spoiling. I am writing much of this in advance, so I'll probably be a bit further by the time I publish it!!

This fic is geared towards teenage girls with family issues !! I'm sure that's like, everyone on this app. Escapism is a universal sport. The main character is an OC, and this is not a Y/N book because I can't bring myself to write another one of those.
Trigger Warnings (TW) for this book:
- Eating disorders
- Child abuse (all types)
- SA (never graphic, but a key point for the main character)
- General abuse
- Guns, stabbings, violence, etc. (Just stuff you would see in the show. I don't really write superrr intense gore)
- Gay people...? Lesbians, in particular. It has a sapphic subplot. I assume that's not that much of a problem?
I'll also be putting a song or two for each chapter because I'm a total music lover and I think it's cool...and I want to. I know it's giving 2020 but please bear with me here I'm literally writing fanfiction in the big 25...
