Chapter Text
Bruce – (ACCEPTED)
The tape revealed a muscular man with short cut flat black hair, wearing a white tank top and black sunglasses sitting on a couch, showing his muscles.
“Hey, all you network executives. You watchin’ this? Good.” The muscular man boasted as he posed, showing off his muscles. “Now you’re probably wondering: ‘Hey! Who’s that good looking guy? He looks like a walking sex magnet!’, well I’d be glad to tell you.” The man stood up.
“The name’s Bruce, baby.” He smiled as he turned to the camera. “And these muscles aren’t fake either, not a chance in hell!” Bruce flexed his biceps showing off his muscular form. “That’s right! You bet all the babes will be jumping at me first glance they get!”
“So pick me, you won’t get a manlier man than this!” He grinned.
“Bruuuuce!” A voice belonging to an older woman yelled out from down below. “I made lunch!”
“Hold on, mom! I’m in the middle of doing my interview for this new show!” Bruce shouted back as he turned back to the camera “That’s my kicka- uhh, kickbutt mom down there, she’s awesome. But I also want to come onto your island to show her that I can be good outside of my mom’s watchful eyes.”
“Hurry up! I made your favoriiiite!” The mother chirped.
“Ooooh! Baloney sandwiches!” Bruce excitedly jumped off the couch, as the camera cut to static.

Debra – (ACCEPTED)
The audition tape showed the inside of a trailer with a couple of costumes on the wall and a couple of pieces of equipment on the couches. A girl with medium-length, slightly wavy, black hair wearing a red dress with a blue symbol of a spade on the front, a skirt, and a red wide-brimmed, pointy, magician's hat, was sitting in front of the camera with a confident smile. There was dramatic music playing in the background.
"Watch closely!" The magician exclaimed as she raised her right fist. "And prepare to be amazed!"
The magician opened her hand to reveal an actual flame dancing on the palm.
"And to my left..." She raised her left hand to show off... a spinning card floating above her hand.
"You are witnessing the magical abilities of the Magician of Spades, Debra, a performer of the legendary Phoenix Circus!" she announced, her voice carrying theatrical flair. She then grew a sly smirk. "That's right! The circus led by none other than Crone the Conjuror!"
She grabbed the card with her flaming hand. The card was set aflame, but the card does not burn away even though it was seemingly made out of paper. She then tossed the card onto her hat. Setting ablaze only the rim around it catching fire in an instant. The hat does not burn away completely, and the magician does not stop smiling.
"Choose me, for I can use all that I've learned at the circus to win Total Drama. And by the end of your show, you’ll see a brand new circus form, where I, am the ringmaster!" Debra proclaimed with a grin on her face, as an annoyed looking rabbit peeked out from behind her hat, pouring a bucket of water all over Debra, putting out the fire and wiping the smirk off her face, the camera then cut to static.

Ivan – (ACCEPTED)
"Sup fools, my name’s Ivan." Sitting at a desk was a young man with short neatly trimmed brown hair, while wearing a lab coat with an orange shirt underneath and rectangular glasses. "Yeah, I get it, I look like the stereotypical nerd. Glasses, lab coat, pocket protector, and all that." He leans back smugly. "But I'm pretty athletic, unlike those dweebs who still can't do pull-ups. But I'll tell you what I've really got. Brains. Yep, I've got the brains to outsmart every single person. Want proof?"
Ivan, smirking, then pulled up a doctor’s degree, flashing it as if it were his personal treasure.
“See this? It’s a traditional doctor’s degree! A legit one too! Yeah, I graduated. No shortcuts, just me being awesome.” Ivan brags, he lowers the degree. “I bet on Total Drama, nobody will be able to come close to my intelligence.”
“So yeah, you guys should totally pick me.” Ivan points his thumb towards himself. “I’m a physics-crunching beast. The complete package.”

Penny – (ACCEPTED)
The camera showed a slightly tanned woman with black hair, tied in a single high pigtail with a blue ribbon. She wore a crisp white blouse with a dark blue pleated skirt. She stood in front of a few school lockers and a window. The camera moves around slightly as if it was being held by another person.
“Alright, inside voice.” The girl muttered before clearing her throat, speaking in a hushed tone, but still loud enough to be audible. “Hello! My name is Penny, and I’m a law student. You’re probably wondering what I’m doing signing on to a reality show.”
“If I win the money, it will greatly help me pay for law school, I see myself in the future by helping others with no one on their side. Also, I imagine you’ll pick a few troublemakers for your show. But!” Her voice rose up. “I’m certain that I could stop them from doing any harm to themselves or others and perhaps steer them on a better path.”
“So to the producers, or whoever you have watching this…” Penny’s voice grew higher.
“PLEASE, PICK ME!” She shouted loud enough for the window behind her to crack. While a car alarm went off along with a dog howling outside. Penny blushed.
WHO ARE WE PLAYING AS?
---
A. Bruce (The Macho Man)
B. Debra (The Circus Magician)
C. Ivan (The Smug Genius)
D. Penny (The Aspiring Law Student)
[Bruce]
Stereotype: The Macho Man
Gender: Male
Likes: His Mom, Flirting with Chicks, Karate
Dislikes: Geek Talk, Hats, Feminine-Looking Men
Nationality: American
Known For: Having muscle and yet still rejected by multiple women
Why TDI?: Wants his mom to think he can be responsible
Bruce is the manliest man you could ever meet! All the ladies would love to be with him… In his opinion, at least. He’s got muscles, a black belt in karate, and all the funky dance moves. His beefiness comes from a time back in January, when he was still pretty scrawny looking, the middle school prom was coming up, and a girl had recently taken an interest in him. Believing that she deserved better, Bruce, inspired by Arnold Schwarzenegger, decided to take an intense training regimen in order to muscle up. Eventually, he did gain some muscle mass. However, it was revealed to him that the girl was only dating him to make her ex boyfriend jealous. However, he took it the wrong way and believed that he was dumped because he didn’t train hard enough. So he doubled down and trained 24/7, and emerged bigger, buffer, and more studly! Needless to say, this and his flirty behavior still didn’t win over any woman. Bruce is hoping he can change how people will view him while he’s on Total Drama, he can either win a woman on said show, or be a chick magnet to all the babes out there!
Advantages
-
Super Strong: Let’s be real, Bruce is an absolute unit, physical challenges are going to be a breeze for him.
Sympathizing: Even though he acts like he doesn’t care about people, he can be surprisingly empathetic towards most people.
Disadvantages
-
Woman Chaser: Bruce always likes to flirt with every girl around his age even if they don’t approve of him, he just likes to think they’re playing hard to get and that they like him. He will even hit on women he’s already hit on.
Idiot: Not really the brightest. Expect something to go wrong if he does something. But this doesn’t make him the most unobservant. He can read people better if he drops the ego.
[Debra]
Stereotype: The Circus Magician
Gender: Female
Alignment: Villainous
Likes: Her Rabbit; Prosciutto; Reptiles
Dislikes: Having no creative control; Dark Spaces; Filthy Rooms
Nationality: American
Known For: Being in a troupe of fire performers
Why TDI?: To show that she can be a star on her own
Debra, also known on stage as the “Magician of Spades”, has a natural gift in magic. She was taken to a famous magician troupe on her fifth birthday, and being mesmerized by it so much that she wanted to become a magician of her own. However, she was going to get her wish sooner than she expected. At the age of 7, she had been taken in by someone who worked at a famous circus, known as 'Phoenix Circus', which exposed her to the world of entertainment. She has been a part of the circus for years now and has been dazzling audiences with a smile on her face. She knows all the tricks of being part of the circus: Tight-rope walking, illusions, ball balancing. But the one thing she truly excels at are her stunts involving flames. Within the circus, she’s part of a group of girls who show off tricks with fire. However, for some reason, she refuses to talk about what goes on behind the scenes. After years of being part of said circus, she’s ready to start her own circus, and signing up for Total Drama, showcasing her abilities, and winning the prize money is a good start.
Advantages
-
Deceptive: She's a magician, would you really expect her not to have any tricks up her sleeves? She's clever and persuasive, allowing her to hide any ulterior motives. This can also be a major edge in challenges and alliances.
Charismatic: Debra may have mean thoughts, but she has a charming presence. She can easily befriend others and sway them to her side.
Disadvantages
-
Selfish: Debra will smile and act like a team player, but at the core, it’s all about her. She’ll throw people under the bus if they have no more use for her or they don’t align with her goals. Thankfully, she won’t do this if she’s truly bonded with someone.
Vengeful: If pissed off enough by another person. She'll have a new target to humiliate or hurt, making her abandon any other plans, along with logic and strategy in favor of targeting her new enemy, consequences be damned.
[Ivan]
Stereotype: The Smug Genius
Gender: Male
Alignment: Villainous
Likes: Solving problems others can't; Science; Rock Music
Dislikes: People who question him; Pepper Spray; Bugs
Nationality: American
Known For: Reciting the gauge-invariant QCD Lagrangian in his sleep
Why TDI?: To show everyone how much he rocks
Ivan is, well to put it bluntly, an absolute genius. He’s got a degree in physics, speaks multiple languages, and knows a multitude of theorems most high schoolers have never even heard of. Earning his degree at the age of 15, many teachers and institutes praised his brilliance, however every one of his classmates saw him as a know-it-all, giving him an ego the size of a planet. However, he’s no pushover either, he’s managed to pick up a few fighting moves from the drug addicted thugs that he dealt with back in San Francisco. It’s said that his credentials are so high that he’s guaranteed to be signed up for a couple of the highest research facilities in the future, even despite with all the… rather questionable chemical experiments he used to do for his buddies. It also should be mentioned that he may be a little cuckoo in his scientific explanations, he once mentioned that science hasn’t disproven the existence of witchcraft, “If they burned all the women, they never knew for sure!”. Despite his eccentric behavior, he still believes he has what it takes to win Total Drama.
Advantages
-
Intelligent: Like he said in his audition tape, he’s got a traditional degree in physics, so he’s got a very good level of intelligence.
Somewhat Athletic: This guy isn't just your average geek; he actually has some physical ability. While he's no star athlete, he's not someone easily pushed over and has some good strength and agility to hold his own.
Disadvantages
-
Paranoid (Even though he says he's not lol): He hardly trusts anybody, even if they have good intentions. It will be hard for him to bond with anyone, unless they have something he likes.
Narcissist: He honestly feels like he has to remind everyone about how awesome he is. Also, he has no problem with freely admitting that his achievements hold more value than lives.
[Penny]
Stereotype: The Aspiring Law Student
Gender: Female
Alignment: Heroic
Likes: Grape Jam, Big Dogs, Swimming
Dislikes: Being Lied To, Druggies, Heights
Nationality: American
Known For: Having lungs of steel
Why TDI?: So she can use the prize money to study law
If there’s ever such a thing as a cop for schools, Penny fits the bill. Raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Penny willingly played the role of a peacemaker. She adhered to the laws and regulations of the community while also helping others in need. She forgoes spending Thanksgiving with her family preferring to feed the homeless. She attends church every Sunday, and was the chief editor of her high school newspapers (Which unfortunately nobody reads due to lack of interest in things she finds interesting). Although she’s a sweetheart, she’s never really had a lasting friendship, mostly due to having no common ground with anyone else and the fact that they get annoyed with her when she tries to teach them basic manners. At the suggestion of her parents, she made an online dating profile, nothing came of it, mostly because whenever she chats with another girl, she feels like her mom is talking to her. So while Penny might be socially awkward, she’s a genuinely good person. Question is… will it be enough though to win Total Drama?
Advantages
-
Observant: Penny may hold onto optimistic ideology when it comes to other people. But she’s surprisingly perceptive and she sometimes notices inconsistencies.
Kindhearted: Penny values other people heavily, if there’s a person with no one on their side, Penny will help as best she can.
Disadvantages
-
Confrontational: Penny has a particularly bad habit of being overly confrontational when she sees inequities, she’s a bit too honest for her own good. Also, she tends to butt into her friends’ business.
Trusting: Penny can be a little too trusting with the people she’s become close to. In fact, her loyalty can cloud her better judgement on some occasions.
