Kaiser's favorite animals are stray dogs.
Ness thought it was weird when he first found out, and then endearing. When you meet a person like Kaiser, you don't guess dogs; really, you wouldn't guess much of anything. After all, who cares about those sort of things? But Ness likes to ask nonsense questions in the hopes of getting to know something more intimate down the line.
But if you were to assume; it would be something more elegant, right? But dogs make sense, the more he thinks about it now.
Ness isn't under any false illusions anymore. He can see the man in front of him, and see his destructive need for control. And Ness is like a dog, isn't he? No, he doesn't mind the comparison. Kaiser will card his fingers through his hair, stroke his cheek and whisper sweet nothings into his ear until he falls at his feet, and he's just fine with that dynamic.
Kaiser likes holding leashes. He likes dragging Ness around, likes giving him treats, likes telling him what to do and deciding what they should eat.
He didn't always realize it, but those are all the ways in which Kaiser is his man.
