Chapter Text

Prologue

Amphoreus Academy greeted the morning with its usual elegance—sunlit hallways, polished floors, and students already buzzing with quiet competition. And as always, every whisper eventually returned to one name.

Aglaea. Top student. School icon. Untouched, unrivaled, unshakably perfect.

She have the beautiful face, long+wavy and golden hair that shines. And her blue ocean eyes that mix with greenish field. She also have wealth that everyone will die for. Isn't she the "it" girl?

She walked through the corridor with calm confidence and usual elegance, accustomed to the glances that followed her. A new semester meant another ranking list, another confirmation of her place at the top.

Nothing ever changed.

But today, the atmosphere felt strangely tense. Clusters of students gathered around the bulletin board, murmuring with a mix of excitement and disbelief.

As Aglaea approached, the crowd parted instinctively—yet their eyes held something she wasn’t used to seeing.

Pity. Unease. A hint of shock. Her steps slowed. The ranking list was posted neatly in the center, freshly printed.

Aglaea lifted her gaze, expecting to see her name at the top like always. But the moment her eyes found the first line, her breath caught.

Rank 1: Anaxagoras

Rank 2: Aglaea

For the first time in her life, the world she had perfectly arranged…tilted. And Aglaea could only stare at the board, unable to comprehend how her name had fallen from its rightful place.
