Chapter Text
After The Pandora's Box first heist, their popularity exploded. The museum didn't have cameras, and the press wasn't there, but some of the people had filmed them with their cellphones, so they went viral.
A fanbase was formed. In only a few days, there were T-shirts and hats with their name in them. There were analysis and theories about who they could be.
There was a mixed set of reactions about that between the four thieves. Akako was enjoying herself, and it seemed that her strange charm had gotten powerful; both Aoko and Hakuba had to shake it off to pay attention every once in a while. Keiko was ecstatic —so much that made Kaito fear that, if they ever find Pandora and stop, she'll keep stealing with another name.
Hakuba had flew away to England for three days, where he probably had an identity crisis, and then got back more or less resigned to his new life outside the law.
Kaito, on his side, was very surprised by the support they had gained in a few days. He was used to fame because of Kid; but when he started, he already had a fan base, his father’s. He didn’t expect that, when KID announced a new heist, a not so small group of people went there with their merch, expecting to see them.
Apart from the people, they also got the police’s attention. In their second heist, Ginzo was also there with the Task Force, but as soon as they showed he became still and didn’t move the rest of the night. (Until they got home and he gave them the worst reprimand they ever got, in which they only denied, denied, denied. He didn’t believe it.)
By their second heist the press was there and wanted to talk to them; Akako was the first one to take a step forward and start talking with her maximum charm. Which resulted in the reporter, the camera man and most of the fans around them declaring their endless love. (Hakuba and Aoko barely resisted it).
Kaito decided that he was going to be the only one to deal with reporters in the future.
