Chapter Text
If I had to say I’d expected it, I'd be a liar. And Matt would be able to tell.
Hold on, let’s rewind. I had just gotten my clothes unpacked when a young man with brown hair and dark sunglasses appeared in the doorway dragging a single suitcase and holding a white cane. He introduced himself as Matt, and I noted that he was rather attractive. Very attractive actually.
I think I accidentally insulted him by staring for a moment, but he seemed more amused than anything as he set his suitcase on his bed and began to unpack it.
We got along quite well if you ask me, there were a few miscommunications but that’s bound to happen among acquaintances. In fact, this story is written based around the biggest (and most purposeful) miscommunication of them all. I mean the guy was practically lying to keep me in the dark, I mean we ended up talking about it and I was a little hurt but he’s still my buddy and I love him just the way he is (although I'd be very happy if he put his health first every once and a while- at least for the sake of my blood pressure).
