Story:
{4:30 PM - In the Chemistry Lab, GO is working on an experiment to create a perfume for her project.}
💛: Hmmm… is the daisy perfume looking good so far?
Chem Professor: Not bad, Golden Osmanthus Cookie! You’re definitely improving, compared to your last attempts. How about calling it a day?
💛: Yeah! I should get going. I have a writing class in a few minutes.
GO starts to clean her stuff to rush for her final class of the day. She was excited to go there, not because of the subject, but for her best friend.
{4:50 PM- In the Writing Classroom. GO makes it just in time and sits with her best friend, Cam. The two of them have been childhood friends ever since elementary school. They were really close and here to support each other. However, there’s definitely something more than best friends between them as two of them have romantic feelings towards each other.}
💛: Oh dear, am I late? I am so sorry. I was working with my Chemistry teacher for a lab experiment!
💮: Yeah you are!
Silence
💮: I was just kidding! You made it pretty early that the professor is not even here!
💛: *slight blushes* You’re so funny…
💛: Honestly, it would be really nice to take a night off. I have been feeling pretty tired lately, especially with the amount of projects.
💮: Me too. I have been working my butt off. I have been working so hard on an essay that was due last night. *takes a sip of espresso*
💛: (In her thoughts: Cami has been working so hard on the essay due last night that he pulled an all nighter. His tired eyes and the constant drinking of espresso gave it away. In fact, he likes tea more!)
💛: Camellia Cookie? Are you okay?
💮: (In his thoughts: God, if I fail this essay, I don’t know what Imma do. I sacrificed my sleep just for this assignment. I took multiple attempts to make it perfect.)
💛: Camellia?
💮: *sobs for a bit * Yeah… I am.
💛: I heard you’re crying for a bit?
💮: What? No! No! Goldie, you got it wrong? My eyes just felt a bit itchy..
💛: Are you sure?
💮: I am sure! I just feel really tired… *yawns*
💛: (In her thoughts: Yeah, Cami definitely isn’t okay. Maybe, I should spend the rest of the evening with him! Hanging out with him might make him feel better.) Camellia Cookie?
💮: Yes?
💛: Why not we spend rest of the day relaxing? I believe some rest will be beneficial for us, especially with the amount of workload we are experiencing nowadays.
💮: That’s sounds a great idea! I’m sure some leisure time will be worth it.
💛: Then it’s confirmed! We will be spending the rest of the day together! We can meet at my dorm room. (In her thoughts: Rest of the whole day together… Me and Cami….)
💮: Great! I’ll see you there! *walks out of the room*
Writing Professor: *enters* Sorry that I’m late, but I am here!
💮: Shit! I forgot that the class hasn't started yet.
{6:00 PM- After class ends, GO rushes to her dorm room. She gets ready to spend her evening with Cam. She dresses up with her favorite casual yellow dress with plenty of flowers. Lipstick… blush… powder… she was ready to look fabulous. GO brings the tea ingredients that Cam really likes so the two of them can drink.)
💛: I think I am ready! But, something is missing…. I know! *rushes to the cabinet* Some sweets and candies! I know Cami really likes those candies a lot!
{6:05 PM- Meanwhile, Cam is also getting ready for the evening. He wants to give GO a gift, as a way to surprise her.}
💮: *yawns* Maybe, I should go to the flower shop! *looks at the Jasmine flowers* Perfect!
Flower Shop Owner: That will be 42.58 Yuan please!
💮: Worth it!
{6:30 PM- Cam arrives at GO’s dorm. Holding a banquet of Jasmine flowers, he knocked at the door, waiting for GO to respond.}
💛: *opens the door*
💮: *standing with a banquet* Good evening, Goldie!
💛: Good evening! *looks at the banquet* Camellia Cookie?
💮: The flowers…
💛: Those flowers are gorgeous! Thank you!
💮: No, thank you for being my best friend ever since my childhood! You were my bestest friend out of the world! (His thoughts: There’s definitely more than that Goldie… but I do not know when it is the right time to confess my feelings towards you.)
💛: *blushes* Awww… (Her thoughts: I know there’s something more than being best friends. When should I tell my true feelings? I don’t know.)
(GO and Cam hug each other, admiring each other. Minutes later, they finally let go.)
💛: (Her thoughts: Why am I acting like this is the first time I met Camellia Cookie for a while? Come on Golden Osmanthus Cookie, you met him multiple times!)
💮: (His thoughts: Why did it feel like we’re having a reunion?)
💛: Hey Camellia Cookie! I have some tea and snacks in the rest spot.
💮: (His thoughts: Or maybe, I am just glad that she’s here with me.)
💛: This is the second time you’re in lost in your thoughts. Cami?
💮: Oh right! Yeah. I’ll be there!
(Cam and GO proceed to enter the rest spot. The comfy, yellow velvet cough companies the two of them.)
{7:00 PM}
💮: I see that you have a mini television in your room.
💛: Oh right! I watch it sometimes whenever I want to relax! Do you want to watch TV while we eat snacks?
💮: Of course!
💛: The only problem is that I don’t really know what I want to watch right now. So, I’ll just change channels until I find something interesting!
(GO turns on the TV and begins to change channels.)
💛: Boring. Boring. Lame. *sees a movie channel* This seems fun!
(The following is showing what’s on the Television.)
| 🍎- Finally, a hotel that we can stay!
🥧- It’s about time! I’m starting to get tired from the rain.
🍎- Don’t worry, darling! I got my money with me so we can stay for a night.
(The two of them walked into the hotel lobby.)
🍎- Oh, it’s empty! There’s no lobbyman either.
🥧- In fact, I can’t see any of the employees. You know what, we can just go for free!
(The couple walked to a dull, yet vacant room.)
🍎- This room looks pretty boring. Just white paint. Two beds. A table.
🥧- It is what it is I guess bae. I’m just gonna lie down in bed. I feel pretty sleepy. |
💛: Awww… they’re a couple! (eats one of the candies)
💮: Mhm…
[In the next scene, Cam starts to get lost in thought again; this time, he starts to imagine the movie as him (🍎) and GO (🥧). ]
|💮- I get that. *yawns*
(Cam and GO jump in the same bed.)
💛- Wow. We did the same thing and at the same time! We are really meant to be.
💮- Of course we are! I’m too lazy to change into my pajamas… *starts to fall asleep*
💛- *chuckles quietly* He really does need his beauty sleep.
(GO and Cam starts to sleep, finally relaxing in comfort.)
(Suddenly, a knock sound is heard.)
💮- Someone is knocking? I’ll go check.
💛- Alright. I’ll come with you… just in case I’m needed as well.
(GO and Cam opens the door.)
💮- Oh! A dining cart! But, why would we eat dinner so late?
💛- To be fair, we haven’t really eaten any dinner yet.
💮- Well true. I am feeling hungry anyway.
(Cam opens the lid; something that they should not be seeing appears. A really dangerous and demonic cakehound.)
💛 and 💮- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH |
(In real life)
💛: AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
(Cam quickly snaps out of his imagination.)
💮: Oh my fucking god. *changes the channel to the weather channel*
Weather reporter on the TV: Dark and cloudy, might be a chance of a blizzard, low 7 degrees!
💛: Oh my god. What did I just watch?
(GO goes closer to Cam, nervously shakingly.)
💛: I am so… so sorry…
💮: Goldie…
💛: Why did I do this… to myself…
💮: You do not need to apologize… We just did not know it was going to be a scary movie.
💛: I’m sorry… *stutters* I’m… gonna.. use the… bathroom…
💮: Goldie, wait!
(GO runs outside of her dorm room to use the girls bathroom, leaving Cam behind in the soda.)
💮: Oh god.
{8:00 PM (GO’s POV) - GO is in the girls bathroom, currently locked inside one of the toilets. Moonstone and Jadeite enter the bathroom.}
📘: And that’s how Ruby Cookie left the classroom.
🌂: Interesting… interesting… Always Ruby Cookie in the crime scene.
(Jade gets a message from her phone.)
🌂: Oh? It’s from Camellia Cookie.
(The message: Hey Jadeite Cookie. This is really important. Is Golden Osmanthus Cookie with you?)
🌂: Golden Osmanthus Cookie? I haven’t seen her at all today.
📘: Me neither.
(Crying is heard from one of the toilets.)
📘: Could that be her?
🌂: I.. will update on him.
(Jade messages: I think she’s in the bathroom. From hearing her, I don’t think she’s well fine right now.)
(Inside the toilet)
💛: *sobs* This… is… my fault… It was supposed… to be a relaxing night… with me… and Cami… Why was I an idiot… and not being aware… of what we were watching… I think… I ruined the night… It’s all my fault…
(Outside of the toilet)
🌂: Poor Golden Osmanthus Cookie…
(Jade messages: Yeah, she is currently crying right now.)
(Cam messages: Hold on. I’m going to try my best to contact her.)
{8:00 PM (Cam’s POV)- Cam is waiting impatiently on when GO will come back.}
💮: God, when will Goldie come back. I am so worried about her. She did say she’s in the bathroom. And it’s been 30 minutes.
(Cam gets a notification from Instagram from his phone.)
💮: Moonstone Cookie?
(The image shows Moon and Jade near the bathroom, taking a selfie. The caption states: tea coming up!)
💮: Perfect timing! I need to contact the two of them ASAP.
{8:15 PM- Back to the girls’ bathroom.}
(GO’s gets a phone call from her phone.)
💛: Oh.. it’s Cami…
(She picks up.)
💛: Hell-
💮: Golden Osmanthus Cookie. Please come out. I just want to talk to you.
💛: *sigh* Okay.
(GO gets out of the toilet and leaves the bathroom.)
{8:20 PM- Outside of the bathroom.}
💛: If you want to be mad at me for ruining the night, then that’s-
💮: Goldie.
💛: It was supposed to be a relaxing night without stress and then I-
(Cam puts a finger on GO’s mouth.)
💮: Shhhh… it’s okay… Firstly, you had no intention whatever that was on the television. Second of all, the night wasn’t ruined at all! The perfect night, in my opinion, is when I’m with you.
💛: Really?
💮: Goldie. We have been best friends since childhood. Remember the sleepovers that we had with our friends?
💛: *chuckles* Yeah…
💮: Those were the best nights. It was made possible by you.
(Cam holds GO’s hand.)
💮: Whenever you’re here, I feel more happy. Whenever I hear a mention of you, it makes me smile.
💛: Awww
💮: So please. When you’re with me, it makes me feel 100 times better.
💛: (Her thoughts: He really does love me, does he?)
💛: You really do make me feel better after this conversation. Thank you.
💮: No need to thank me. Thank you for being here. *blushes*
💛: Heh *blushes*
(GO and Cam hug for a while.)
💛: You know what? What if we do a sleepover in the dorm room?
💮: I would love to! But first, can we have dinner in a restaurant please?
💛: (Her thoughts: How does he know that I’m hungry? We really are meant for each other.) I would love to!
So GO and Cam go to the restaurant, just for fun. And it’s all because of the two of them being together. Will Cam and GO confess their feelings for each other? We will find out soon!
