“Ugggh, I can’t believe that dumb orange idiot took my home, it was perfect, it was close enough to that food building that dumps out delicious fish with all the bones to gnaw on!” Said a black and white cat as they grumpily walked past many humans who ignored them, thinking the cat is asking for a treat instead of complaining.
“Scram, you overgrown rodent, I don’t have anything for ya,” said a rather rude passerby as they roughly kicked the black and white cat away from them.
The tuxedo cat yowled at being kicked suddenly, “Damn these lowly creatures, thinking they are anything more than our servants. Though I guess there are some that see them as family, uggh,” Tuxedo cat said, running toward a large wall with a few cracks running along it.
“I remember mother telling my litter that there were spots beyond the never-ending walls to eat and camp,” I said to myself as I dug my claws into the cracks to climb over the wall.
As they reached the top of the wall, their ears perked up at the sound of a cry for help. “Hmm? Is there a kitten that needs help?” I jumped down and ran toward the noise for help coming from.
‘They sound a bit weird, is it a kitten? Maybe it’s another kind of baby animal,’ I thought as I ran up toward a large glass dome with a cement base.
‘Hmm? Mother never mentioned this building. Maybe it has some good food since it’s so big! Wait, have to find the kitten and make sure they’re ok,’ I thought as they continued running into the dome.
‘Where is the kitten? I know this isn’t what we ‘strays’ do, as those house cats love to call us, but I can’t leave something so young on their own,’ I thought.
Tuxedo cat heard a loud screech and a gust of wind coming from the center of the dome, to see a weird creature that was bigger than the regular humans in front of it.
“HEY! Leave the kitten alone!!” I mewled out, not expecting to be understood either way, just wanting to distract the creature.
“Huh? Is that a cat?” asked the many-handed human.
“It would seem so, Shigiraki,” Said the misty human.
‘These humans don’t smell right,’ I thought as they continued making their way toward what the cat now recognize as human children and not kittens.
“Hmm, just ignore it. It can’t do much,” Said the many-handed human.
They turn their attention back to the children.
‘(sigh) I guess I’ll need to break a promise I made to myself. I hate using this technique, but I rather not have my efforts traveling all the way here for nothing. Might as well save these pathetic humans,’ I thought.
I growled before feeling my bones grow with my muscles and skin.
‘This is always annoying when these pesky humans try to hurt me, but kittens are in danger, and I don’t care they’re not mine, I will protect them,’ I thought as I grew to the size of a school bus and rammed my head toward the biggest of the three and knocked them away a few yards.
Everything seemed to slow down as I was passing over two green-haired children and another that looked like a bowl of grapes.
I landed to the right of them before getting in front of them protectively as I roared out at the two bad humans.
“Run and never hunt these kittens again!!!!” I roared out, knowing no human here couldn’t understand me.
“Ugghh, one of them is a summoner!?!? A high level one by the looks at that,” The many hands one said.
“This isn’t looking good, that animal just easily knocked the Nomu away and doesn’t show any sign of injury,” Said the misty human.
“What is that thing!?!?!?!” Yelled the bowl of grapes.
“A-a-a Quirked animal!!! Amazing, there’s only a few cases in the world of animals getting Quirks!!” The green-haired boy said in what sounds like excitement.
I look behind me to see only one of the children to be the crying kitten.
I fully turned toward the green-haired boy and sniffed him before picking him up by the scruff of his neck and putting him on my back.
“Wha!?!?! What is happening?!?!?” Screamed the green kitten.
“Ah, I see, so you’re the summoner. Figures a brat would have a stupid Quirk like this,” The many-hands human said as he rushed toward us.
I barely looked at him before digging my claws into the dirt behind me and kicking it into the many-hands human.
I rushed toward the misty man while he was distracted with the boulders I sent toward the many-hands human.
I showed up beside the misty man and batted him away from us and toward the forest. “How is there a forest inside a building?” I mowed out.
“Uhhh, it was brought in from the outside… Wha? Who said that?” The green Kitten said.
I stopped and turned around to see the Kitten I saved actually understood me. “You can understand me?” I asked, surprised the Kitten, a human Kitten, understood me.
“Y-y-yes, I think I can,” Green Kitten said, nervously.
“Hmm, well, that is different. Let’s get out of here. My job here is done,” I said as I began walking out of there and toward what I could gather was the door.
“W-w-wait! What about my friends! And the teachers! They need help!” The Green Kitten anxiously said.
“Not my problem, I heard a kitten crying out for help, and I have said kitten safely on my back, my problem is about to be solved,” I said, not caring what happens to these humans.
“W-w-well then, why did you save me then? If I am just a Kitten crying out for help, why did you help? You could’ve just left or just assumed a mother cat would’ve helped,” Green Kitten asked.
I stopped before barely turning my head to the Green Kitten. “I failed to protect my litter once; your cries reminded me of them,” was all I said before continuing toward the doors. “They all died because I wasn’t willing to go against my promise to hide my power from you humans, and they suffered because of it. You, humans, know no bounds of your cruelty toward us for your entertainment,” I said as I growled at some of the humans we passed by.
“Please, save them. I consider them to be part of my litter. I know you can be better than those who treated you cruelly. Please!!” Green Kitten begged me desperately to save his litter.
As I was about to take a step out, I remembered the words I yelled out, the desperation in wanting someone, anyone, to help save my litter from the humans who were killing them.
“(Sigh) Fine,” I said, turning around quickly before running toward the water fountain.
‘I better not regret this,’ I thought as I open my mouth to bite down on the big thing that smells like dead humans.
