Work Text:
In the middle of the night, the flickering candlelight cast a dim glow, and Albus, half-asleep, looked at the blond boy lying beside him and shook his head helplessly. He had no idea how things had turned out like this.
Just a few hours ago, they were still at the café in Hogsmeade. The air was peaceful, the fireplace warm, and everything seemed perfectly normal—until…
Albus noticed that Gellert was gazing at him. He coughed unnaturally, 'Hmm, Gellert? Why are you looking at me like that? Is there any dirt on my face?'He scratched his nose.
“Oh, not really, you’re good. I’m just… thinking about something,” Gellert said, smiling.
“What is that about? Any more dangerous thoughts? You’ve told me enough about that,” Albus asked, curiously.
“Well, I'm thinking about—— to please you, Albus.”
Gellert said casually.
Albus blushed, blinking once, twice.
“You—you mean you want to treat me? Oh Merlin, I hope I didn’t misunderstand you.”
He took a deep breath.
“Okay…so what do you want to treat me to? Dinner? Coffee?”
Gellert paused for a moment, then smiled.
"That's what you thought about my meaning?"
Albus felt that he turned pink.
" Or what can it be? To be honest, you scared me! That's too..."He covered his face with a book and couldn't say a single word anymore.
Gellert reached out, resting his elbow on the desk, and the distance between them suddenly decreased. Albus could even see the light-gold eyelashes of Gellert.
Albus felt hot.
"I'm not saying that I want to invite you to dinner. Don't you think my English is that bad, hmm?" Gellert said.
He raised his eyebrow, looking into the pair of blue eyes.
Albus bit his lip, his gaze darted away.
" I said ‘I wanna please you,’ and I mean it."
Gellert came closer.
Albus’s ears were as red as his hair. He opened his book but completely forgot which page he was on.
“Don’t you even understand the meaning of the phrase—”
“I do. Do you agree to it?”
Albus’s breathing quickened.
Gellert’s face was only half an inch from his.
“Y-yeah… yes.”
As a wet, warm kiss descended, Albus answered dizzily.
