Work Text:
Joseph laid in bed, the time being well past midnight. Another sleepless night. He felt distressed, for the angel had not appeared to him in a fortnight. Joseph had become attached to Moroni. And he couldn’t deny this any longer, not when it was having this effect upon him. He held onto his pillow very tightly, needing some kind of comfort. “Why? Why is this happening to me?” The boy thought to himself. He couldn’t call Hyrum in to stay by his side until he fell asleep, not for the third night in a row. And what good would it do? Joseph longed only for Moroni. He wanted, needed, the satisfaction of just a simple caress from him.
Joseph grew more agitated and frustrated the longer he thought about it. He resisted the urge to scream into his pillow out of anger. However, he crumbled to the temptation of throwing it across the room, which would knock over a glass. He quickly snapped out of it and realized what he had done. He collapses back onto his bed, running a hand down his face.
Suddenly, he feels a gentle hand on his shoulder, which causes him to gasp. He knew just from that soft, sultry touch who it was.
“My dear Joseph, why are you in distress?” Moroni asked. His hand gently rubbed Joseph’s shoulder, calming him instantly. Moroni notices how quickly Joseph calms. “Oh, you’re tired as well. Have you been thinking of me?” The angel continues quietly.
“Yes…damn you..” Joseph groaned in response. Moroni laughed softly, but he understood Joseph’s plight. “I cannot focus on my labor anymore.”
Moroni’s hand rises up to cup Joseph’s face, his thumb gently caressing his cheek. Joseph could feel everything, his senses heightened to the angel’s touch. “Poor Joseph..” Moroni said gently, “Forgive me. For I have been away longer than intended.”
Joseph moaned very quietly at the feeling of Moroni’s soft hand on his face. He hated the fact that he couldn’t be in control anymore, or rather the fact that he didn’t want to be in control when the angel was close. Moroni, of course, noticed Joseph’s reaction, no matter how subtle Joseph tried to make it.
Moroni smiled, his eyes glowing softly with angelic moonlight. He leans in, pressing a gentle kiss to Joseph’s forehead. “Come.” The angel commanded softly, pulling Joseph closer. “Let me make it up to you.”
Moroni pulled Joseph into a tight embrace, his wings enveloping him completely. Joseph could feel the soft feathers brushing against his shoulders, the warmth of Moroni’s body seeping into his. Moroni rests his chin on top of Joseph’s head, his eyes closing. This was all so much for Joseph, but it was everything he wanted.
Joseph could feel his self control breaking. He begins to pant, his heart rate spiking. His grip on Moroni tightens.
“Joseph..” Moroni whispers, his voice warm and comforting.
“I-I need you..” Joseph whimpered, looking up at Moroni desperately. Moroni began to feel bad for him, his heart aching with a mix of tenderness and guilt. The angel pulls back slightly, his eyes searching Joseph’s with concern. He knows that he has caused Joseph this torment, and it pains him to see him in such a state. He runs the back of his hand along the side of Joseph’s face, pitying him. He notices Joseph’s rapid breathing, his dilated pupils, his flushed cheeks, which he noticed created an exquisite palette of pink and cream on his frame.
Joseph was practically addicted to Moroni’s touch, which Moroni was beginning to understand. “Do you take pleasure from me?” Moroni asks, already knowing the answer. The truth.
Joseph nods, whimpering and pressing himself closer to Moroni for touch. Moroni watches this and realizes he’s conditioned Joseph to crave his touch. His wings tighten around him. “I understand…” Moroni says soothingly.
Joseph tried to deny it, but, god, was this pleasurable. The feeling of Moroni’s angelic fondle made him feel things he’s never felt before. It made him feel loved, almost. All of the sensations were driving him crazy.
Suddenly, he feels Moroni gently run a finger down the middle of his palm. Oh, my. Joseph felt shivers running down his spine. Moroni, of course, expected this. Moroni watched as Joseph shuddered and trembled, his eyes never leaving his, even if Joseph’s eyes would squint and roll.
“Look at me, dearest..” Moroni said, referring to Joseph. This was becoming unbearable for Joseph. He wanted Moroni to completely claim him, to give him the pleasure he knows he doesn’t deserve, but craves. He wanted to tear off his clothes and get absolute release from the angel. He couldn’t look at Moroni right now, not in this state.
Moroni observes Joseph closely. He was so responsive to his touch, it was almost humorous. He knew that if he touched him anywhere, he would whimper or tremble. “Darling…I’m here..” Moroni whispered gently, trying to get Joseph to calm down.
Moroni gently tilts Joseph’s face upwards, his hand staying on his cheek. Joseph tried his best to calm himself, taking deep breaths. Moroni knew that Joseph needed more than words to calm down. This taken into account, Moroni leans in, pressing another kiss to Joseph. This time to his lips. Joseph was able to simmer down at this, for the angel kissed him with a tenderness that held centuries of angelic patience and divine love.
“Shh..” Moroni whispered against Joseph’s lips, feeling Joseph’s grip on his clothes loosen. And loosen.
No more than a moment after, Moroni felt Joseph completely slip into unconsciousness, the boy going limp in his arms. He hadn’t fallen asleep. He had just fainted, clearly from excessive stimuli. Moroni felt guilt, for he wanted to give Joseph the pleasure he craved, but he didn’t want this.
The angel notices Joseph’s heavy breathing and shuddering, and immediately supports him. Moroni gently lifts Joseph’s arm and places a kiss to his palm. Then to his fingers, his knuckles, his wrist...And while doing this, he notices the softness in Joseph’s hands. And their particularly smaller size. He wanted to soothe Joseph as much as he could, even if he were unconscious. Moroni felt oddly protective over Joseph, like he couldn’t let anything terrible or dangerous happen to him. And he wasn’t going to leave, he couldn’t leave Joseph right now. He needed to be there for him, no matter what.
“My poor, sweet boy..” Moroni says gently, looking at Joseph resting in his arms. His eyes trace every feature of Joseph’s face. His long eyelashes, his nose, his cheeks, his lips. He knows that Joseph, the one he was supposed to lead and guide, has been haunted by his absence.
Joseph could feel his pure love even as he was unconscious. The warm, gentle touch, the sweet, comforting kisses, and even the way his wings would brush ever so slightly against his shoulders was helping him through his little blackout.
Joseph’s eyes flutter open as Moroni gently brushes a strand of hair away from his face. His vision focuses before he sees Moroni looking down at him.
Joseph immediately gasps, butterflies spreading throughout him. Not only was he embarrassed from having practically collapsed into him, but he always seemed to become flustered when the angel was close, or even around.
Moroni’s thumb gently strokes Joseph’s cheek, causing him to shudder before he manages to straighten himself out.
“I apologize. For my…previous behavior..” Joseph says, a little timidly. He tried to stay strong and appear confident, but the blush on his cheeks wasn’t helping with that.
Moroni quickly stops Joseph’s pathetic apology with a finger pressed against his lips.
“Shh…Don’t apologize for needing touch, Joseph. It’s natural that this would happen to you.” He whispers softly.
“Oh…well, I still should have controlled myself..” Joseph continues nonetheless.
“Joseph, look at me.” The angel says, his hand rising up to cup Joseph’s cheek. “You have nothing to control when it comes to needing affection.” Joseph moans again, trying to keep it quiet. But, as always, Moroni notices. He knew he was being deliberately teasing now. His other hand moves to Joseph’s waist, pulling him closer.
There was a long pause of just the two realizing what this looked like. What this was.
“..You make me feel queer when we’re like this…” Joseph says with a stutter, referring to either meaning.
Moroni knew exactly what he was doing. His wings gently wrap around Joseph, creating a private cocoon. “Queer? How so?” Moroni said, already knowing the answer.
“Well, I…it’s just that..when you’re close…” Joseph pauses, needing to gather his thoughts. “Forgive my stammering.” He says before continuing. “It feels as if…something changes..inside me. Or rather….makes itself more apparent..” Joseph finally finishes.
Moroni understood exactly what Joseph meant. He remembered being Joseph’s age and feeling the same way when other boys were near. His expression softens, his wings tightening around Joseph’s body, pulling him even closer. Their faces were mere inches away.
“Keep it together. Don’t move, don’t make a sound, and don’t touch him.” Joseph thought to himself, beginning to sweat.
Moroni sees the sweat forming on Joseph’s brow and the way he’s starting to squirm in his arms. He understands what’s happening. His hand moves from Joseph’s hip to his lower back, pressing him firmly against himself so Joseph can feel his warmth and stability, ensuring that Joseph wouldn’t have to hide anymore.
Joseph’s eyes begin to water as his body rapidly heats up. Before he knew it, he was panting again and gripping onto Moroni for dear life.
Joseph starts speedily, and rather clumsily unbuttoning his shirt, his panting now louder than ever. His hands trembled as he was unable to leash himself. Moroni realized that Joseph was actually going there.
Moroni gently stops Joseph’s hands, holding them in his. He looks Joseph in the eye and says “Allow me.” His hands slowly undo the rest of the buttons before sliding the garment down Joseph’s arms, leaving his chest and torso completely bare.
“Joseph.” Moroni calls, needing to be sure of something.
Joseph looks up into Moroni’s eyes. He then realized just how close the two of them were. Joseph’s legs were wrapped around Moroni’s waist, which wasn’t exactly necessary, but in this moment, it felt right. It felt like what he wanted. Moroni had his hands on Joseph’s shoulders, a successful attempt to steady him.
“Do you want me to make love to you?” Moroni asks.
