Work Text:
Sage is calm, collected, comforts people whenever she can. It should be obvious that she will need to be comforted at some point. She was in the infirmary. It's been a very long day, a lot of paperwork, a lot to do, quite a bit of healing to do. She's exhausted, but there's still so, so much to do. "I can't finish all this", she thought, "要做的事情太多了..." (Too much to do…)
"You alright, mate?" She heard Skye ask as she entered.
"I'm fine, there's just so much to do. I honestly don't think I can finish it all," Sage replied.
"Take a break, mate, you clearly need it. I can see some bags under your eyes," Skye told her.
"But I should do at least a quarter of this first," Sage said, looking back at the papers.
"Girl," Skye sighed, "get some rest, it'll be here after your break." Sage didn't respond.
Skye pulled her into a tight hug, and Sage broke down into tears, sobbing. Sage is used to comforting others, not being the one being comforted.
"I care 'bout you mate, I don't want you to burn out," Skye said.
"Thank you…"
"Anytime, mate."
