Work Text:
Seungmin knew he looked silly right now, digging his heels into the ground and refusing to move, but he didn't really care. Because no way was he willingly going to walk into the dentist office where they were going to stick him full of needles and steal his teeth.
"Seungminnie, come on." Chan was tugging on his arm and trying to pull him forward, but Seungmin was resisting with all his weight. "Your appointment is in ten minutes and I don't want to be late."
"No," Seungmin said stubbornly. “I don't want to go.”
“This is important, baby," Chan tried telling him, like he'd done many times now. "If you don't get your wisdom teeth out now they could cause problems later, and you definitely don't want that."
“They won't cause problems," Seungmin insisted. His teeth wouldn't betray him like that, he knew it. “This is cruel and unnecessary punishment."
Chan sighed. "I'm sorry, puppy, but you need this. All the rest of us have gone through it and it's really not that bad, your mouth will just be sore for a little bit."
"Yes, but they're going to stick me with needles, hyung," Seungmin whimpered, digging his feet further into the sidewalk that Chan was trying to pull him down. He could see the ominous street sign of the dentist office up ahead, a cartoon tooth smiling at him like it was making fun of him. "And I've never been put under anesthesia—what if I never wake up! And it'll be all your fault!"
Chan frowned at him. "It's perfectly safe, Seungminnie. You're going to wake up and you're going to be just fine. Now come on, don't make me carry you in there."
Seungmin's tail wagged anxiously behind him and he still didn't take a step forward.
"I'm not going," he told Chan, committing to the bit. "You can't make me."
That was a big fat lie and they both knew it. Chan tilted his head, studying him for a second, before he sighed again and took a step closer.
Seungmin shied away but Chan grabbed him by the waist, crouched down, and pulled him over his shoulder.
Seungmin yelped as suddenly he was dangling in the air with Chan's butt in his face, and he could feel them walking down the street towards that horrific place.
"Chan hyung!" He complained, putting up a struggle but Chan was too strong and held him in place. Seungmin's ears and face were burning and he was sure that he was being stared at by the other people out and about, but he would rather make a scene and get his way than be dragged into the dentist office right now.
Except dragged into the dentist office he was. The tinkling of the bell as Chan pushed the door open seemed to taunt him and he blushed further as the lady at the front desk got a nice view of his butt hanging over Chan's shoulder before his boyfriend put him down.
"We're here for the 9am appointment," Chan said cheerfully, acting as though he didn't have an iron grip on Seungmin's upper arm to keep him from bolting out the door (he was seriously considering it). "The name is Kim Seungmin."
Seungmin had been hoping for a long waiting time so he could maybe talk Chan into letting them leave, but to his disappointment the receptionist brought them right back to a room. Chan kept a firm hold on his arm but Seungmin was clutching on too now, his fingers squeezing the material of Chan's hoodie.
His heart was beating faster than normal, too, and his tail was tucked between his legs a little.
"Everything will be fine," Chan assured him, clearly able to sense his nerves. "And when you wake up I'll take you right home where you'll have seven boyfriends all over you for the next couple days. Doesn't that sound nice?"
"You're always all over me," Seungmin muttered, and it was true. He hardly went a day without being smothered in affection by at least a handful of his boyfriends, and he loved it.
"Oh, trust me," Chan said. "It'll be even more. You're gonna be so loopy and cute when you wake up. I hope you know we're gonna take a million pictures."
Seungmin scoffed. "I'll be just fine when I wake up—if I wake up. All those videos online about people being totally out of it are fake, hyung."
Chan just raised an eyebrow at him. "Whatever you say, honey. I guess we'll see."
The doctor came in, then, and Seungmin kind of hated that she was acting so nice towards him. This woman was about to steal his teeth and she had the nerve to ask Seungmin how his day has been so far? As if he'd done anything else this morning than complain about getting out of bed and trying to hide in different places around the house to avoid Chan.
Chan was listening to the doctor intently, though, especially as she started talking to them about caring for Seungmin after the procedure.
Even though he knew Chan and the rest of them had all gone through this his oldest boyfriend was still taking notes on his phone, jotting down everything the doctor said. He vaguely heard something about gargling salt water and something else about the kind of medicine he was being sent home with, but he was too busy twisting the fur of his tail nervously between his fingers to really pay attention. He trusted that Chan would get all the important information.
"Any questions for me, Seungmin?" The doctor asked him eventually.
"Can you put me to sleep without any needles?" He asked hopefully.
The doctor smiled at him pitifully and Chan huffed a laugh.
"Unfortunately not," the doctor said. "We'll need to give you an IV catheter before we put you under, but I promise it'll be quick. We've got some very talented nurses and they'll be as efficient as possible."
"It'll be easier if you don't look," Chan added. "I'll distract you, puppy."
The dreaded nurse came in shortly after, when Chan was done asking some of his own questions, and Seungmin eyed the metal tray he brought in with him.
"I hear you've got some anxiety around needles, yeah honey?" he said.
Seungmin nodded shyly at him as the nurse took a seat on the stool next to the exam chair he was on.
"That's totally understandable, we get a lot of people in here that are nervous around needles. I'll make this as quick and easy as possible, okay?"
Seungmin nodded, and then Chan was tugging on his sleeve.
"Just look at me, baby," he said as the nurse took his other arm. "Pretend nothing's happening."
Seungmin gulped and his breathing sped up as something tight was squeezed around his upper arm.
"Hyung…" he whimpered, as something cold was swiped across his skin. "I don't like this."
Chan scooted his own chair even closer to him and placed one hand soothingly atop his head. "I know, pup, but you're being really brave. Just keep looking at me, yeah? What flavor of ice cream are you looking forward to eating after this? I'll let the others know to go pick some up."
The nurse was poking at his inner elbow and Seungmin bit his lip, "Um…chocolate?" He said, his voice coming out shaky.
There was a sharp poke at his inner elbow and his breath caught in his throat, keening high in his throat as he struggled not to yank his arm away.
Chan leaned even further forwards to press a flurry of kisses against his temple to distract him from the sting, his other hand holding one of Seungmin's tight and rubbing circles over the top of it.
"Good job, baby," he murmured. "You're being so good right now."
Seungmin's tail wagged feebly at the praise.
"All done," the nurse said, and Seungmin could feel bandages being wrapped around his arm. "You did really well, better than a lot of people!"
"Now the hard part is done, hm?" Chan said. "Now they'll put you to sleep and hyung will see you when you wake up."
"Stay with me," Seungmin's hand shot out to grab onto Chan's shirt. "Hyung, don't leave before I go to sleep."
"I won't, I won't," Chan assured him. "I'll be right here when you go to sleep and I'll be right here when you wake up, I promise."
"We're going to start now," the nurse said, and when Seungmin turned to look at him (pointedly avoiding looking at his arm) he saw that he was holding another syringe in his hand.
"This one doesn't poke you," the nurse said before he could panic. "It goes directly into your IV, don't worry. Once I give this to you you're going to start feeling really sleepy and you should be under in less than a minute."
"What if it doesn't work?" He asked.
"Oh, it'll work," the nurse said. "Trust me, this is the good stuff. You'll be sleeping like a baby in no time."
"Why don't you try counting down?" Chan suggested. "Or try singing the alphabet?"
"Good idea," the nurse said. "I'm going to give you the medicine now, okay? And I'll see you when you wake up, though you probably won't remember it."
He pushed the needle into the port of his catheter and started pushing the drug in slowly. Seungmin started reciting the alphabet like Chan had suggested, but he didn't get very far.
"E…f…g," he was feeling sleepy already. His eyelids felt heavy and he could hear his voice getting softer. "L..m…n…"
He didn't even remember falling asleep.
🦷🦷🦷
Chan carded his fingers softly through Seungmin's hair, waiting for the puppy hybrid to wake up. He'd been let back into the room a couple minutes ago after the surgery had finished up and he hadn't bothered suppressing his coo at the sight of Seungmin fast asleep on his chair, cheeks puffed out with gauze.
He'd been told that the hybrid would wake up soon, and he was waiting anxiously. His phone was in his lap and he'd already been bombarded by a floor of messages asking after Seungmin and demanding pictures. He took one now, while Seungmin was still asleep.
Just like he'd been told, though, it wasn't long before his boyfriend was stirring, and a gargled noise came from his throat as he tried to breathe through his mouth.
"Hi, puppy," he said, though he wasn't sure Seungmin could hear him. His eyes were still closed though his brows were scrunched together cutely.
"Seungminnie," he sang, still brushing his hand through his hair. "Are you awake, baby?"
"Hngg," came Seungmin's reply, his eyes just barely squinting open to peer at Chan. "Hngg?"
"You don't have to talk, honey," Chan told him. "I bet your mouth is feeling pretty weird now, hm?"
One of Seungmin's hands came up to poke sluggishly at his cheeks before he opened his mouth to prod at the gauze stuffed in there.
Chan reached out and gently took his hand away. "Don't mess with it, pup. You've got a lot of gauze in there because of the bleeding, but we'll take it out soon."
The nurse from earlier came into the room, and he smiled upon seeing Seungmin awake.
"See, I told you it wouldn't take long. As soon as you're able to get him up from the chair you can take him home. Here are those discharge papers and an instruction manual for post operation care, but please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. The procedure went well, though, so we're not anticipating any complications."
"Thank you," Chan said, accepting the pile of papers from her. He folded them up and put them in his back pocket because he was sure it would take him two hands to get Seungmin safely to the car.
"What do you think, Seungmin-ah? Ready to go home?"
Seungmin's eyes were glazed over and the puppy hybrid was still staring blankly at the wall opposite him.
"Okay," he said, and he pulled Seungmin's legs off the chair so they were dangling down. "Do you think you can stand up?"
But Seungmin still didn't seem to be processing his words. If his eyes weren't open Chan might think he was still sleeping.
"Come on, puppy," he took Seungmin underneath the armpits and hoisted him up. The puppy hybrid luckily was able to stand mostly on his own, though he leaned forward heavily into Chan's body for support and his head flopped down on Chan's shoulder.
Chan wrapped an arm around him tightly, bracing himself to catch him if his legs gave out, and they slowly started walking towards the door.
"Chhn hyngg," Seungmin mumbled, the words coming out endearingly muffled through his stuffed cheeks. "Was' happning?"
"You got your wisdom teeth removed, remember?" Chan reminded him as they got out the doors of the office. They were parked on the street and luckily it was less than a block down the road. "You're recovering from anesthesia, that's why you feel weird right now. But hyung will take care of you."
"My teef," Seungmin said, poking at his mouth again. "Hyngg, my teef!"
"Yeah, they took some teeth out. It's okay, though, you don't need them."
They got to the car, and Seungmin fell heavily into his seat. "Oof."
"You stay right here, okay, puppy?" Chan leaned over him to buckle him in. "We're gonna drive home now."
"Chhn hyngg," Seungmin reached for him, his hands curling tightly around Chan's hoodie. "Hyngg, stay here."
"I have to get in the driver's seat, baby, so we can go home. I'll be right next to you, okay?"
He felt guilty, prying Seungmin's hands away from him but he wanted to get home as soon as possible and get Seungmin all comfy on their couch.
Seungmin watched him sadly as he closed the car door on him and walked to the other side, but Chan leaned over the car and kissed his cheek a couple times once he was behind the wheel.
"See? I'm right here."
"Mmf," Seungmin mumbled, but he didn't seem satisfied with the cheek kisses. He turned to face Chan and leaned his body over the car the best he could, puckering his lips up cutely as he tried to land a kiss on Chan's mouth.
Chan cringed away, pushing him back gently with a hand on his shoulder. Usually he would welcome a kiss from him but he did not want bloody gauze to come into contact with his mouth.
"Sorry, puppy, but you'll have to wait a little bit until you can kiss us like that. At least until the gauze comes out."
He wasn't sure if Seungmin could really understand what he was saying quite yet, or maybe the puppy was just tuning him out because he whined a little and tried to lean forward again.
"No," Chan told him again, and he swooped in to give him another round of cheek kisses, making obnoxiously loud "mwah's" to go along with them. "You'll have to settle for those."
Luckily the puppy didn't seem to have the energy to try for any more kisses and he settled back in his seat as Chan turned the car on.
Seungmin was still really out of it during the ride home. He was staring at Chan but his eyes were unfocused and he didn't say anything more. Occasionally he brought his hand up to poke at his cheek and lips but luckily he didn't try pulling his gauze out. Chan was sure his mouth was completely numb so he could probably barely feel it.
His phone was going crazy, even though his boyfriends knew he was driving. The dancers had all called off work today, and he and Jisung had too. Only Changbin was still at work. He had offered to take one for the team and get some work done so that the other two could be with Seungmin. He'd still be home earlier than usual but he was sacrificing seeing Seungmin at his most loopy.
By the time he pulled the car into their driveway Seungmin had fallen asleep, dozing with his head against his headrest.
He blinked his eyes open when Chan opened his car door.
"We're home, puppy. Once we get you inside I'll take your gauze out, yeah? That'll have you feeling better."
"Hyngg," Seungmin was making grabby hands at him and he got a hold of his hoodie as Chan leaned over to unbuckle him.
"Yeah, puppy," he cooed, unable to get over the way Seungmin's cheeks were so ridiculously puffed out. "You wanna see the others?"
Seungmin nodded as enthusiastically as he could manage and Chan took him under the armpits again and helped him get out of the car. He was still wobbly on his feet and Chan held on tight, loving the way Seungmin was leaning on him and giving him all his weight.
They were greeted by six eager boyfriends as soon as they got through the door, and two of them already had phones out trying to get a picture of the sleepy puppy.
"Let me get him on the couch," Chan said, pushing his way through them.
"Is he in pain, Channie hyung?" Hyunjin asked anxiously. "Does he need anything?"
"No pain yet," Chan assured him. "His mouth is all numb, the puppy can't even feel his own tongue. I'll get him the first dose of his pain meds soon, though, so when the numbing wears off the pain won't be too bad, hopefully. You could grab him the ice pack, Hyunie?"
He set Seungmin down on the couch and the puppy's head lolled back. There was a silly grin on his face and he looked overjoyed to be there. His tail was even wagging slightly against the couch.
"You look happy, puppy," Felix said, leaning into his space. He brushed Seungmin's hair out of his face so he could see his eyes properly. "How are you feeling?"
Seungmin answered but it was so muffled by gauze they couldn't understand him.
"Let's get this out, baby," Chan said, and sat down next to him and coaxed Seungmin into opening his mouth so he could slowly and carefully pull out the four pieces of gauze tucked into the corners of his mouth. The dentist had removed all four of his wisdom teeth and Chan could see the dissolvable sutures that had been placed where each tooth had been taken out. "There, that should be better. Maybe you can talk now."
"Hyung," his voice was less muffled but the word came out a little slurred, like he was drunk. He was leaning into Chan, too, though he was still smiling up at Felix. "My mouf feels weird. I can't feel my teef."
Felix giggled at him. "It's all the numbing," he told him. "It'll wear off in a little bit."
Seungmin was looking around at all of them. Minho, Hyunjin, Jisung, and Jeongin were standing in front of the couch and he made grabby hands at them, his tail still wagging.
"Everyone is here," he mumbled, grinning dopily. "Here for me?"
"Yeah, Seungmo," Minho said as they shuffled closer, trying to appease the puppy. "We took the day off work to be with you."
Seungmin smiled even wider. Chan cringed a bit at his bloody spit and the view of his sutures, but he was glad Seungmin was feeling so happy. He knew that would change once the pain started but he was hoping they could delay it as much as possible with the medicine.
"Everyone's here," Seungmin repeated. "Everyone—everyone…hm? Changbinnie hyung?"
"He's at work," Chan reminded him. "But he'll be home by dinner time, okay? He can't wait to see you."
But Seungmin's smile had dimmed almost completely and he looked around as if expecting to see Changbin come around the corner. "Changbin hyung?" he asked again, his voice still coming out slurred.
"At work," Felix told him again. "You'll see him soon."
But Chan could already see the disaster they had ahead of them. Seungmin's eyes were watering and he sat up, though Chan kept a hand on his shoulder to prevent him from standing. Seungmin turned towards him.
"Hyung, I want Changbin hyung. Tell him to come home."
"He can't come home yet, honey," Chan told him, speaking softly like Seungmin was a young child. "He needs to be at work right now.
Seungmin's bottom lip wobbled and Chan sighed. This wasn't good.
"Hyung doesn't want to be here?" He asked quietly. "Hyung doesn't love me?"
"Seungmin-ah," Chan scolded gently, fighting back a giggle at how wide and pitiful Seungmin's eyes had gone. "That's silly talk. Changbin wants to be here very badly and he'll be home at the end of the day. He's been texting me non stop too, look."
He opened his phone and pulled up his messages with Changbin, showing the dozen texts Changbin had sent throughout the morning asking for updates. He handed the phone to Seungmin. "See? He keeps checking up on you."
Seungmin snatched his phone up and Chan saw his eyes move from side to side as he read through their messages. He hoped the puppy hybrid didn't mind the two pictures he had sent of him knocked out in the dentist chair.
"Changbin hyung," he mumbled again, and then before Chan could stop him he was pressing on the face-time button.
"Ah—Seungmin-ah, he's working—"
But Changbin picked up on the first ring.
"Is something wr—oh, hi puppy!"
Changbin's face lit up with a smile as he was faced with the view of Seungmin's face way too close to the camera. "How do you feel?"
"Hyung, come home," Seungmin got right down to business. "Wanna see you."
Changbin's face fell. "Oh, I'm sorry, baby. Hyung has to work for another couple hours, okay? But the rest of our boyfriends are there, I'm sure they can distract you until I get home."
"No," Seungmin said stubbornly. "Come home."
His tone was demanding, and maybe it would've been a little more effective if he still wasn't slurring his words and having trouble focusing his eyes on the screen. His eyes watering further at Changbin's rejection didn't help, either.
"Hyung, come home," he tried again. And then, "want you to put me in a headlock."
Changbin burst out into a laugh at that and Chan couldn't stop his own giggle from escaping. Their puppy boyfriend had realized a couple weeks ago that if he managed to poke Changbin's buttons just right then he'd end up with a big bicep around his neck, something he pretended to hate but they all knew better.
"It'll make me feel better!" Seungmin insisted when Changbin kept laughing at him. He turned to Chan for help. "Hyung, tell him to come home!"
"In a couple hours, Seungminnie," Chan tried to placate him, but Seungmin's teary eyes weren't going away.
"But I want him now…"
"The rest of us aren't good enough for you?" Jisung tried. "Changbin hyung is your favorite, is that it?"
"No," Seungmin protested. "Minho hyung is my favorite."
"I got that on camera," Felix said immediately. He'd been filming pretty much since Seungmin got in the door. "I'll send it to you, hyung."
Minho was looking smug. "Thanks, Lix-ah." And then he leaned down to pinch one of Seungmin's cheeks. "You're cute, puppy. You're my favorite too, but I'm only telling you cause you won't remember this."
"Oh, please," Hyunjin rolled his eyes. "Like you don't make it so obvious."
"I don't know what you mean," Minho said, "And the puppy doesn't either." He still had one of Seungmin's cheeks pinched between his fingers When he let go a pink spot was left behind and Seungmin rubbed at his cheek dazedly.
Changbin was still on the phone, but luckily Seungmin seemed less upset now.
"Here, puppy," Hyunjin stepped forward with the ice pack. "Let's try to get ahead of your swelling."
They had bought a long ice pack with Velcro that allowed them to strap it around Seungmin's head so it rested across both sides of his jaws. It squished his cheeks together cutely and none of them could stop from cooing. Felix took another couple pictures.
"I still want Changbin hyung," he complained. "Why isn't he here?"
"Like we've told you, he has to be at work right now," Chan said patiently.
"But I want him to put me in a headlock. I like it when he does that."
"I'm sorry I'm not there to put you in a headlock, puppy," Changbin said, sounding genuinely sorry. "But I'm not your only boyfriend with muscles, right? Surely someone else can help."
Chan sighed internally as Seungmin paused to think before turning his unfocused eyes over to him. He smiled brightly.
"Channie hyung, will you put your big bicep across my neck, please?"
The rest of their boyfriends were giggling in the background, probably at how genuine and pleading Seungmin looked.
"Yeah, honey," he resigned. "Whatever you want."
Seungmin was already right next to him so all he had to do was sling an arm over his shoulder and coax the puppy into leaning into him more so he was able to put him in a (gentle) headlock.
"I really like this, hyung," Seungmin slurred, relaxing into his chest. "It feels really nice. Really secure."
"Glad you like it, puppy." Chan's face was burning, especially because there were at least two phones trained on him, both probably recording. "Anything to help you feel better."
"Are you gonna be okay if I go now?" Changbin asked. "Looks like you're getting all comfy, puppy."
Seungmin pouted down at him, but his eyes weren't teary anymore.
"Okay," he pouted. "I'm feeling sleepy, hyung."
"Why don't you take some pain meds and then take a nap?" Felix suggested. "You wanna sleep with Chan hyung for a little bit?"
Seungmin nodded, his eyes already drooping. "Really tired…" he repeated.
Felix ruffled his hair gently. "I'm not surprised. Let me go get the medicine and then you can escape to dreamland."
It took a little convincing for Seungmin to let him get off the couch, but Felix made sure to come back quickly and Chan was relieved when Seungmin took his pills without fuss.
"Go to sleep now, puppy," Felix said, rubbing his chest. "And we'll get you some ice cream when you wake up."
It didn't take long before Seungmin was nodding off against Chan's chest, his cheeks still squished between the straps of the icepack (Chan made a mental note to take it off in a little bit) and Chan's arm still around his neck.
🦷🦷🦷
Seungmin woke up slowly, like his body was objecting to returning to the waking world. He was warm against whoever he was laying against and he wanted to stay here forever.
Until he felt a hand running through his hair and a familiar voice near his ear.
"Puppy…" the voice sang. "You gonna wake up for me?"
Changbin?
He forced his eyes to open, and sure enough Changbin was sitting next to him and Chan.
"Hyung?" His voice was a little rough from being asleep. "What time is it?"
"Nearly time for dinner," Changbin told him. "You must have been really tired, hm? You slept most of the day."
Seungmin nodded. "Must have been…"
His jaw felt sore, and the ice pack he vaguely remembered wearing was gone. There was an ache in his gums that he didn't like, too. Absent mindedly he brought his hand up to rub at his face.
"We can get the ice pack again if you're uncomfortable," Changbin offered. "And you can take more medicine now. But I picked something up on the way home from work that I think you might enjoy."
Intrigued, Seungmin picked his head up off Chan's chest (who had also fallen asleep, his arm falling limply across Seungmin's chest instead of his neck) and looked over to Changbin. He gasped at the single Pup Cup Changbin was holding in his hand. He tried to sit straight up but a twinge in his jaw had him leaning back.
"Hyung," he whined.
"Just lay there," Changbin said, "I'll bring it to you, hold your horses."
Changbin brought the Pup Cup up to his mouth and held it steady for him as Seungmin licked it clean. It was over much, much too soon.
Changbin laughed at him when he pouted. "I know for a fact that we have two big tubs of chocolate ice cream in the freezer," he said. "You can have some of that after dinner, Minho hyung is making you a nice soup that'll feel real good on your gums."
Seungmin huffed. "Will you get me another Pup Cup tomorrow, hyung?"
Changbin laughed. "Sure, honey. I'll get you one each day until you feel better."
Little did he know Seungmin didn't plan on 'feeling better' for the rest of his life, or at least until Changbin caught on. He managed to get his boyfriend to feed him his soup, though, because they let him stay on the couch while they ate at the table and then Changbin joined him again, dutifully using both hands to feed him.
"Channie hyung," he called out when he was all finished, and he accepted the bowl of ice cream that Chan had just prepared for him. "I wasn't…weird after the anesthesia, right? I just fell asleep on the couch?"
"Is that all you remember?" Chan asked him.
Well. That didn't sound good. Was there more he should be remembering?
"…Yes," he said hesitantly. "I vaguely remember waking up at the dentist office but I don't remember the car ride here or falling asleep again."
"You didn't say anything too crazy," Chan assured him. "Maybe some things that you wouldn't usually say, but nothing we didn't already know."
Seungmin stared at him. "What does that mean."
Chan giggled, and Seungmin felt his heart drop. "Well, like I said. You just announced a couple things we already knew. Like Minho being your favorite and how you love it when Changbin gets so annoyed he puts you in a headlock."
Seungmin gaped at him. "…I said that?"
"You also called me because you were so upset I wasn't there, and then you begged Chan hyung to put you in a headlock instead," Changbin said, and Seungmin startled. He'd almost forgotten he was there. "Said it feels 'secure’.”
"Oh my god," Seungmin groaned, bringing his hands up to his face to cover it. "The others didn't hear it, right?" His head shot up suddenly, though his jaw protested the action. "Minho hyung didn't hear me say that he's my favorite, right? Cause that's a total lie!"
"Unfortunately he got a front row seat to that statement," Chan said, still smiling. "And there might be a video of it, too."
Seungmin was mortified. Who's phone was it on? He'd have to figure out so he could burn it.
"You know Minho hyung won't tease you about it," Changbin said reassuringly. "He's probably too embarrassed to ever bring it up. You can just pretend it didn't happen."
"Still happened," Seungmin grumbled. "And I don't like it when you put me in a headlock, by the way. I wasn't in my right mind and I was telling lies."
"Okay, puppy," Changbin said easily. "If you don't like it I'll make sure not to do it again. I don't ever wanna do anything to you that you don't like."
Seungmin glared at him. He knew Changbin was joking, but he better not try withholding his headlocks in the future. He really did enjoy them even though he would never admit it out loud (except for the fact that he apparently just had).
"Okay, enough of this," Chan said. "You get to choose what movie we get to watch tonight, Seungminnie, as soon as the others are done getting ready for bed. Do you know what you wanna watch?"
"Baseball," Seungmin said immediately. He'd gotten hooked on the sport recently and Felix kept complaining that he was giving the baseball on TV more attention than the cat hybrid.
"Oh come on," Changbin said. "That doesn't count, it's not a movie. Pick something else."
"No," Seungmin said stubbornly. "You said I get to pick and I wanna watch baseball. The Lotte Giants have a game tonight, we can watch that."
Chan and Changbin grumbled a bit but Seungmin knew he'd get his way. He always did, and now even more so that he could use the 'in pain' card. He really did plan to stretch this whole thing out as long as possible because getting four wisdom teeth removed would definitely be a worthy price to pay for a whole week of ice cream, Pup Cups, and unlimited attention from his boyfriends.
