Arupek placed the glass of the overly decorated drink on the table, “Here~! The latest banana ice cream milkshhaa…” His eyes met with the customer's grey ones. Arupek had never felt so awestruck in his life.

The seconds that passed were unbearable for both, and Chaco had the urge to speak up. “Haha… thank you…?” Heat invaded his face as he just stared right back at the waiter. Awkwardness washed over them, and suddenly Arupek realised he needed to get back to work.
“O-oh my gosh! I'm so soorry~!!” He whipped around, face red. “C'mon Arupek! What the hell was that?!” His hand ran over his face whilst he walked back to the kitchen. “Maybe I was just… captivated by his…? Looks? His eyes were soooo pretty… C'mon, I've never even talked to this guy!”
Arupek needed to focus. But he just couldn't. “What's this order got… Caramel sauce and maple syrup! Easy! Wait- do we even put maple in coffee?!” He searched the shelf, settling with a bottle behind the others. “Guess we do now!”
“Arupek!! That's the wine!” Badobarm boomed from behind him, making him almost drop the bottle in his hands.
“Whoops! How'd that…”
“What? You got a customer you're trying to drug or something?! Focus!”
Arupek put the bottle of wine back on the shelf. He then thought back to the guy from before. “I'm not tryna drug ‘m! This isn't even his drink!”
Badobarm's head cocked to the side. He'd never felt the urge to smack words out of someone this much. “Um? So you're thinking about giving wine to someone else? Should I be worried?!”
Arupek sighed and went back to the drink he was making, ensuring he grabbed the caramel bottle this time. “Oi, not what I meant…”
“Whatever, just make sure you focus on your work, okay?” The taller man walked away, for he couldn't stand talking to this out of it guy anymore.
“Caramel latte n maple syrup…” Arupek couldn't even form full sentences. His brain was at full capacity for today. He looked up from the paper cup, seeing a trio of men at the table. “For which of yall~?”
The guy with pink hair raised his hand without uttering a word, so Arupek reached out to set the drink down with a grin, “Enjoy!”
“Thanks.”
He turned to the other guys, who had dark purple and white hair. “Your drinks will be here shortly!” They nodded in acknowledgement, before Arupek walked off. “Yes! I didn't fumble this time! Take that Bado~!”
“Flat white… flat white…!” Arupek poured the milk with extreme focus. “Hah… white like half of that guy's hair…”
“What guy~?”
“Gyahh!!” A bit of milk splashed onto the bench as his hand slipped, “Hangyon! I was really focused there!”
“Sorry, sorry! Couldn't help myself!” At that, the older guy went to get a rug to wipe up the mess. “Ahh, to be young and in love again~”
“I'm not in love!! Why’s everyone just assuming I've lost it?!” A grunt escaped Arupek. “Not in love. Just distracted. Anyway, let me finish this! Hurry along and get back to your job!!”
“Bye bye~!” Hangyon waved and went to the food making part of the kitchen.
“Flat white for?” Once again, he was at that same table.
“Over here!” The guy in the middle with purple hair smiled as Arupek gave him his drink.
“Eyy, it kinda looks like him, don't it?” Yeah, that was definitely my first thought…! Not the guy earlier or anything. Arupek gestured to the man on the left with the white hair. “All white, warm and fluffy!”
“It does…?” Kurode looked to the side, trying to humour him.
“O-oh my god! That sounded so weird didn't it?!” Arupek profusedly bowed. “Didn't mean to like, be weird!”
Cielomort giggled, finding the waiter quite entertaining, “No, it's all good! I guess I've always wanted to look like his drink…?”
“Hah-! Nice talking to yall! I'll bring that last drink over soon!” Forcing a grin, he walked back for what felt like the 100th time that day.
“Ehe, that was a pretty silly server.” Cielomort leaned forward, watching as his two boyfriends sipped from their drinks. “Guess I'm last then.”
“You really are warm and fluffy like a flat white…” Willmesh smiled down at his lap, setting his drink down.
“What the hell what the hell whatthehellwhattheheck what was that-” Arupek's thoughts ran at a thousand miles per hour. “I just know those customers waited for me to leave to talk about how much they hate me! Arupek you need to focus!” He looked back to the ticket for the final time he needed to. “Eh?” In comparison to the other people's drinks, Cielomort sure went all out.
“Ssspecial unicorn milkshake with extra whipped cream!” It was so hard for Arupek not to laugh right in front of them.
“Now now, usually I'd get a simple coffee but I thought I'd get something different today.” Cielomort decided to poke some fun at the jittery waiter. “Doesn't this one look more like me?” He moved the drink to himself and cupped his face with his hands.
“No! Er- maybe… yeah it does!”
“I'd say so.” Kurode had a puzzled expression. Well, who wouldn't… this guy just agreed and disagreed in the same sentence…
“Enjoy your drinks yall!” Arupek chuckled and hurried away, not wanting to fumble really bad again.
Once he returned to the kitchen, he was greeted by Badobarm again, “Your shift is over now. Good work!”
“Oh yeahhh! I lost track of time, thanks man!”
“Have fun.”
“Ahhh, time to myself now! Might stick around for a bit.” It wasn't too busy in the cafe, so Arupek figured he'd take a seat in the corner. “That shift was teeerrible!” He took sips from his water bottle, occasionally glancing around at the tables. “That trio’s still here… same goes for the pretty boy.” It was like his eyes were glued to him. He couldn't stop staring. “Dammit. I should mind ma own business. I feel like a dang creep…”
