It’s nice, this new little routine they’ve developed.
Aleksander fetches the tea, Alina draws the curtains closed. He also finishes up any outstanding dishes needing cleaning while she plumps up cushions and drags a throw blanket over everything for extra cosiness points.
Then they collapse into the couch, snuggle up into each other, and watch their favourite TV show.
Currently, it’s ‘The Only Way is Essex’. How that came to fruition, neither of them have any clue. For all his pretence of the contrary, Aleksander is a huge reality TV fan. Alina finds this endearing, if a little bit hilarious.
