It had been late at night. The sun had long since set and 007n7 had just gotten off of his late night shift at some shady tech shop. Since he had left the house this morning he has had the feeling of being watched.
"S3v3n 1s th4t y0u?" a glitchy voice said from behind him that he had known all too well.
"Noli"
"1'v3 b33n l00k1ng 411 over f0r y0u. Th3 0th3rs, th3y th0ught th4t th3 adm1ns had g0tt3n y0u. Bu7 I kn0w y0u b3tt3r th3n th4t." Noli said with a chuckle. "If y0u w3r3 t0 h4v3 g0n3 0ut it w0uld b3 w1th a b4ng."
"What do you want Noli," he said trying to keep his voice steady.
"0h c0m3 0n S3v3n thats n0 w4y t0 sp3ak t0 y0ur par7n3r, 3sp3c4lly with h0w l0ng it t00k f0r m3 t0 track y0u d0wn. Y0u sur3 d0 kn0w h0w t0 v4n1sh wh3n y0u want t0-"
"I'm done Noli. I quit." he had said, interrupting Noli.
"Wh4t "
"I QUIT HACKING NOLI!" 007n7 had said finally turning around to meet Noli. Oh how he regretted doing so. His eyes meeting his that where filled with betrayal. "I-I quit. I didn't want to keep living like that Nols, It was getting to be too much. I… I had to get out of there. Then one day this small red baby somehow ended up on my door step and-"
"Y0u l3f7 m3." Noli said interrupting 007n7. "I d1d 3v3rything f0r y0u. I d1dn't want t0 live this l1fe, h3ll I want3d t0 b3 a d0ct0r. I did th1s all f0r y0u, t0 mak3 y0u h4ppy and y0u just l3ft m3 like3 that. W4s I just a t0y t0 y0u. S0m3th1ng that y0u play with and thr0w aw4y wh3n y0u g3t b0r3d."
"Please Nols you have to understand," he pleaded.
"N0 Y0U D0N'T UND3RSTAND!" Noli said as his voice started glitching even more then before. "I'v3 sp3nt y3ars l00king f0r y0u. And this 3ntir3 t1m3 y0u wh3r3 pl4ying h0us3 with… with a rand0m kid y0u f0und. Y0u pr0m1s3d m3 th4t n0 matt3r what w3 w0uld stick t0g3th3r. If y0u w0uld hav3 t0ld m3 I w0uld hav3 walk3d 0ut with y0u. W3 c0uld hav3 g0tt3n a h0us3 in the m1ddl3 0f n0wh3r3 wh3r3 w3 d1dn't h4v3 to d3al w1th adm1ns and it c0uld hav3 b33n just y0u and m3. I l0v3d y0u Seven, h3ll I st1ll d0!"
An uncomfortable silence had followed.
"W-W3ll? C4t G0t y0ur t0ung-g?" Noli had said in a mocking tone.
He had stayed quiet. There was nothing more 007n7 could say. Tears had started forming at the corner of his eyes threatening to spill over.
"Just leave Noli. Please." he had said in a quiet voice that could have been mistaken as the wind.
"F1n3 just kn0w th3 d4y th4t h3 disc0v3rs what y0u actu4lly ar3 d0n't c0m3 cr4wling back t0 m3," Noli opens his GUI the one that he had made him back when they where in collage. "G00dby3 S3v3n." Noli says as he disappears leaving Seven alone on the sidewalk.
He crumbled onto the floor. Tears falling down his face as if they were waterfalls. God why did he have to be so stupid. He hadn't wanted to leave Noli but it was a split second decision that he had thought that Noli would disagree with. He hadn't regretted leaving, he would never. C00lkidd didn't deserve to be raised in that type of environment. Oh no. He had to get back to C00lkidd. Noli's appearance had made him lose track of time. Without a second though he started rushing into his car not wanting to leave his child alone for any longer.
