Work Text:
My name is Rhett Simpleton. I would say this story of mine is special, but I wouldn’t really count it unless someone else says so. For context, I work at an office building. You know, do the boring paperwork, take phone calls, yadda yadda yadda.
But what really pisses me off when I’m trying to work there? the CEO of the place. I’m telling you, there’s something going on with him and the person who has the same name as me. How the fuck does she even have the same name as me?! Anyways.
The CEO is annoying as hell. I’m going to be honest. He is literally built like Kingpin and a laundry basket mashed together. He tries to remain as professional but he instead ends up being rude to me and his employees except his little princess, who has the SAME NAME AS ME AND APPARENTLY HAS THE SAME NAME AS EVERYONE ELSE IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD. Most importantly, I keep hearing this strange clapping from his office most of the time, especially whenever the person— you know what, I’m calling her Y/N— is in that office. Hopefully they’re clapping because she got some sort of promotion…
Also, I really hate these two and their relationship. You know why? I was talking to my co-worker, Ben, and we were talking about Y/N. As he looked at her though, it was like the CEO had some sort of instinct! The CEO immediately dashed towards him and slugged his jaw, and as he fell to the ground, next thing you know, the CEO stomped on his back.
This was completely outrageous. Ben was stuck in the hospital for a couple of months because of this incident. A few months pass by, it’s November and today is Thanksgiving. I wasn’t really in contact with my family but the job I worked at was hosting a Thanksgiving party. So, I went there. I kinda had a good time. Talking with friends and eating the food. The only thing that was not good was the CEO and Y/N going at it again. He literally pinned her down onto the table.
I’m eating god damn rice and sweet potatoes, and I didn’t want to throw up now. I just looked away for the sake of it. And those words I heard from the CEO was utterly ridiculous.
"Let them watch, kitten."
I swear to god, that was so unnecessary and that ruined my whole night. It was about time most of the employees were reporting these complaints to the HR, because we were all tired of it.
…Oh yeah, enough with the CEO. How about Y/N? She is such a crybaby and expects her dumbass of a boyfriend to do ANYTHING for her. People barely pay attention to her, aside from the talking about her part, but still! She really needs to stand up for herself. You won’t always be protected in life, whether you like it or not, but I doubt she wouldn’t believe that anyway.
