Introduction: Closing the Theatre’s Curtains

Prologue: Ascertaining Everyone’s Thoughts and Plans of the Future

Everyone had finished watching Arc 5 of the story. During the viewings, everyone’s fear, anger, and anxiety are at an all-time high. The Witch Cult attack had attacked Priestella in a full-scale war that is predicted to have taken tens of thousands of lives and destroyed the lovely, beautiful water city into war wreckage. 

It also suffered loss of many innocent lives, major casualties and damaged the royal selection camps. The Archbishop of Lust cursed Crusch with the cursed dragon blood, Julius Juukulius lost his name against the Sin Archbishop named Roy Alphard. Anastasia’s body was possessed by the artificial great spirit Echidna, and many others suffered injuries during the attack.  

But despite their losses, the future counterparts on the screen achieved something remarkable such as the success in killing the Sin archbishop of Greed thanks to Emilia, Subaru and Reinhard’s combined efforts, capturing the Sin Archbishop of Wrath by Priscilla and Liliana, and the success of the counterattack making the Witch Cult retreat due to everyone’s effort. 

Everyone was feeling the swirl of emotions inside the theatre, immense joy, happiness and hope seeing various people accomplishing victory against the Witch Cult’s grand-scale attack but it also made the viewers feel  terror, despair, and hatred for the people responsible for the upcoming tragedy. 

The information given to the blessed or cursed screen overwhelmed the people inside the theatre. For the first time in the theatre, everyone gathered and started meeting about the events that happened, which were shown on the screen. 

Crusch: Everyone, we need to start a meeting right now!

After the screen turns dark, their mixed emotions, tense expressions and negative feelings are etched on everyone’s hearts remembering everything they have seen on the screen, usually when the Arc ends they all feel happy but this time they all turn serious, their mind thinking at rapid speeds until Crusch snapped out of their minds and managed to start a discussion to everyone.

Before they all watched the future arc, the Warden made a proposal to prolong their viewings inside the theatre under three conditions. 

The first is involved with Natsuki Subaru in the theatre, the knight of Emilia and future hero of Priestella would not be able to be awake and not aware of the happening inside the theatre. 

It was in order to watch one of the possible futures, a compromise is needed such as the exchange for Natsuki Subaru’s awakening therefore, they cannot reach for his advice and help in dealing with this problem. The Warden stated he will only be awake once they are out in this theatre.

Secondly, they are unable to start a meeting with everyone in one setting during the viewings. They can start gathering themselves and talk about the plans after watching the entirety of the Arc. 

All of them aren’t able to discuss future plans and ideas to everyone for the upcoming large scale attack but fortunately they can think their own suggestions to protect Priestella and present it during the meeting at the end of the viewings. Therefore, during the viewings they formulated their own ideas and prepare it for the upcoming discussion.

The third condition is they are only given certain time for the meeting and after the given time limit, they are forcefully teleported back to their home. The time limit wasn’t shown and said to the viewers reminding them that unnecessary talks would waste their own precious time.

Despite the deal’s few disadvantages, it presents massive information critical for knowing the upcoming trouble, warning everyone of its danger and damage. Unfortunately, to them the future trouble just happens to be the same time as their arrival in Priestella, absolute preparation is needed to overcome the short time they are given. 

She shook her head to shift focus on everyone’s opinion on this matter, and her eyes looked towards the crowd for confirmation.

Crusch takes the role of starting the meeting and gathers everyone around the center of the theatre to discuss their plans. They need to think of a plan fast before the Warden sends them back to the previous time, ensuring time efficiency and having more time to prepare once they are back.

Crusch: Everyone, I know you are still being overwhelmed by the revelations on the screen, but there are things needed to address. 

Looking across the theatre, she noticed few people glances at her direction expecting to continue her words. She waited patiently until everyone finally focused their attention to her, she breath deeply and stated her current thoughts.

Crusch: We need to start our strategy in confronting the massive attack coming from the Witch Cult in Pristella before we are sent back to our world.

Crusch spoke up in a strong, resolute voice, but her hands shook and a cold sweat showed on her face. Deliberate planning and careful consideration of the actions are needed to ensure their victory against the upcoming threat; the necessary details shown on the screen must be discussed before going back to their world as one of the conditions of the proposed deal with the Warden. 

Everyone nodded and agreed to Crusch's words, they began to discuss their plans with each other.

There is a possibility that forgetting other involved enemies would be overlooked so Crusch decided to have everyone reminded the enemies that showed up in the screen. 

Crusch: The Witch Cult is going to attack in a few days, the enemies are several Witch Cultists,

And several of the Sin Archbishops.

Several people mainly the young ones winced hearing the involvement of the archbishops and witch cultist as they have seen the ruthless power of the Witch Cult in front of the screen. Few people expressed their anger to the Witch Cult by clenching their fist or gritting their molars. While they reacted in reflex, Crusch continued her previous statement with a stern voice.

Crusch: Kurgan, the former hero of Sacred Vollachia

Garfiel grimaced hearing the name of his future enemy as he was reminded to the close battle that almost took his life from his weapon, he wanted to prove his strength to the world who is constantly mocking Subaru with misfortune by defeating the monster who was once a hero. Otto watched in concern to Garfiel’s condition as the speaker continued reporting the enemies

Crusch:-and Former Sword Saint Theresia Van Astrea. 

Willhelm’s heart clenched in pain as he remembered her wife’s dead eyes and expression. Fear and anger are all things Wilhelm currently feels toward the Witch Cult, which stole her wife’s life and body from the disgusting witch. 

His rage boiled his blood, and his hatred burned even further, knowing the Witch Cult can now potentially greatly suffer Natsuki Subaru, curse Crusch with the dragon blood, and harming many lives with their wicked powers.

The Witch Cult should never be forgiven for their atrocities towards the people in Priestella, removing their humanity by turning them into insects, eating their names along with their memories and forcefully uniting their negative emotions, such brutality reminded him of the Demi-Human War that took countless lives and sacrifices, but watching this in detail is way worse because he felt helpless for not doing something while watching everyone suffer. 

Despite the overwhelming emotions he currently feels, he still has hope that this knowledge could help Subaru who is considered his grandson to stand by his side and help him overcome darkness with everyone's light, it is not too late to change the future events and minimize the destruction that threatens to engulf the beautiful water city of Priestella with darkness from the Witch Cult malevolence. 

Willhelm: I will have to pay those bastards for everything that they have done to my wife; they stole my wife’s life, body, and even her soul. I will never let anything get retaken, not on my watch from those damn cultists. 

Wilhelm tightened his grip on his armchair so much that it shattered into pieces. His overwhelming fury can be seen through the strong aura that emanates over his body, some people have goosebumps at the sight of Sword Demon’s Wrath until he manages to calm down.

He will once again fulfill his vengeance on the people who hurt his loved ones, and his quest for revenge has restarted and will be continued.   

Reinhard’s expression was mixed with sadness and conflict, seeing his grandfather’s quest for revenge had started again. 

He felt guilty for finishing her grandmother but he knows that it was necessary to eliminate the threat, it painfully reminded of what happened to their family after he stole her grandmother's divine protection for his selfish desire.

His existence brings misery to the people around him including himself, he is unable to help everyone when it is most needed, after watching the viewings he realizes his uselessness to prevent major tragedies, his future self lost his friend’s name, killed her grandmother again, never managed to reconcile to his father and even killed Subaru in one of failed loops.  

The only thing he saw as a positive change was that he helped Subaru defeat the Sin Archbishop of Greed. Still, even that achievement didn’t feel anything because he only distracted Regulus while Subaru was racking his brains. He managed to find Regulus' weakness while he didn’t. 

Reinhard: Subaru, why are you so strong despite being weak? How can you still move despite the world hating you? You are such an amazing person, unlike me, who is a useless monster. I’m sorry that you have to suffer for this Subaru. 

Reinhard sighed sadly at himself after seeing his grandfather’s furious expression, he wanted to reconcile with his grandfather what as seen in one of the scenes in the first episode. It was very beautiful scene to watch until his father ruined it because of his past mistakes. He let go of the current thoughts to focus on pressing matters about the future.

At least he can now prevent Subaru’s suffering after the viewings to repay all the sins he’d ever done to him and others. 

Felt grabbed Reinhard’s hand concerned for her knight, knowing what he was thinking. Even though Reinhard is perfectly hiding his real state with his mask, her lady already studied her knight's expressions and she knows that Reinhard is sad. 

She felt concerned for Reinhard and felt bad after showing the recklessness of her own actions in the screen as she was almost erased from the hands of Gluttony, but fortunately her name was not the real name used.

She will question Old Man Rom for what happened before she was abandoned by her parents, but for now, important matters are in hand. If she were erased from the world, then no one could remember her apart from Subaru. 

She didn’t want to think it further as it clenched her heart seeing Reinhard's desperate face trying to save the Felt on screen from Gluttony. 

Felt: Stop trembling in fear, you coward. Even Big Bro didn’t let fear stop him. Calm down, everything would be alright as long as I had my knight and Big Bro; they would not let this happen. This time for sure, those bastards will pay for their crimes and harm to everyone.

Right now she is hiding her fear that is latching onto Felt’s heart, the situation was overwhelming for the royal candidate, but she needed to do her responsibility as a future queen and people's lives were on the line. 

To hide her fear, she showed her confidence and thought on the positive side that they knew the powers and weaknesses of the archbishops, all she needed to do was for Reinhard to wipe them all out and plan some things during the defense.

She was distracting herself from immense fear by reminding herself of Subaru’s heroism, but she also realized to help her Big Brother carry his burdens. 

Reinhard, reading her lady’s emotions, dispelled any unnecessary thoughts and began to converse with Crusch about his own plans.    

Reinhard: We are planning to evacuate the inhabitants in Priestella before the attack of the Witch Cult. We need to conceal as much as possible from the public about the attack from the Witch Cult to prevent the public from panicking and losing control.

As everyone heard Reinhard’s serious voice, they shifted their focus from the screen towards Reinhard as they dispelled their thoughts on the screen for now and dealt with much bigger problems. As Reinhard stated his thoughts, Crusch spoke up her own thoughts questioning the Sword Saint.

Crusch: Is there a possibility that the Witch Cult will attack early if the people evacuated outside the city?

Reinhard: The Warden didn’t tell us the Witch Cult’s arrival and their current whereabouts, so there is a possibility that they have already arrived.

Reinhards statement caused everyone to be anxious implying that they can attack at anytime but their negative thoughts interrupted by the Sword Saint words.

Reinhard: Fortunately, the Warden told us that the time to the Sin Archbishops attack wouldn’t change but there is a chance that their plans would change depending to our actions.

Crusch: The Warden didn’t deceive us with false information as shown in the past viewings proven by other people’s witness. However, it is best to approach this with caution since this is one of possible future that can still be changed. Our best course of action is to wait for the incoming reinforcements to prepare for the attack.

Crusch warned everyone to be cautious and not underestimate the Witch Cult even though they are given information, slight mistake of their plan would case massive changes to the Witch Cult’s plan that can cause immense damage if it was decided to attack early.

Reinhard: These additional reinforcements should be composed of knights, mages and paid mercenaries. Notifying the kingdom is necessary, someone would serve as a messenger for this matter.

Everyone listened and digested the information suggested by Reinhard and Crusch, as they all catch on their point, he continued to state his thoughts and ideas for everyone to hear.

Reinhard: The main reinforcements should be the camp of the royal candidates who hadn’t arrive such as Emilia-sama and Priscilla-sama. It is needed that the Emilia-sama and Priscilla-sama camp should arrive early in Priestella so we can further talk the formulated plans with Subaru. 

Anastasia: It wouldve been better if their carriage arrive faster in some way, deporting some of my crew would weaken the security of the city.

Another goal on this plan is to make the Emilia’s camp arrival to be early on time, the half-elf’s camp composed of some key members that will help to their mission such as sniffing out the miasma of the witch cultists using Beatrice ability to smell miasma, Emilia and Garfiel’s strength, Otto having the book of wisdom and most importantly Natsuki Subaru. Emilia had a brilliant idea to make their arrival early on.

Emilia: Uhm, I think maybe my ice magic can make the carriage slide towards Priestella so it would be faster. I’m concerned to the ground dragon on where should I put it in the carriage.

She suggested to create a ice track that will help them slide the carriage towards the city, the only issue are the mana usage and the pathway. When Otto heard Emilia’s idea, he wasn’t convinced nor pleased with the idea.

Otto: Emilia-sama, Don’t think such reckless thoughts! Let us think this carefully before making a decision.

Garfiel: We can just throw Ottobro towards the gates of Priestella, combining princess magic and mine amazing self strength would reach there in no time.

Otto: Stop joking around Garfiel!, I am not a throwing stone for Od sake!

As the two idiots talked about the opinions in this matter, blue-haired maid was thinking one way to fasten the Emilia camp’s travel towards Priestella as she suddenly have an idea.  

Rem: Beatrice-sama can you use your teleportation magic to teleport us in Priestella?

She remembered that the great spirit has a magic spell to teleport one thing in another place that is shown on the past viewings. She questioned Beatrice if it was possible but her hopes was crushed by the great spirit’s words. 

Beatrice: Thats a demanding task in fact! It would take massive amounts of  mana to teleport all of us all from one point to another. It wouldn’t be possible since my contractors mana is limited therefore filling my mana capacity would take a long time enough for the spell, I suppose.

As the Emilia camp formulated ways to reach Priestella as soon as possible, Priscilla stated her decision while Al argued back with his own concerns.

Priscilla: Foolish commoners, mineself believe my early arrival is unnecessary. I have my own plans, the only thing I needed is the position of my desired enemy that I should cut down.

She wanted to cut down the scumbags who humiliated her during the fight, Al interjected as if reading her thoughts.

Al: Princess, don’t suddenly charge at the enemy when we arrived. As much as I want to help bro, give some time and consideration to listen with their plans.

Priscilla: The dogs does not suddenly bark at the owner especially to the one’s who works secretly in the shadows. You wanted to arrive early in order to enact your hidden actions, am I right?

Al:-------Tsk

Priscilla: Don’t forget that dogs have leash and does not wander around without the owners permission.

As the topic shifted from the original intention, Reinhard continued to talk indicating to listen to his next words.

Reinhard: As soon as we went back to our world, all the camps present in Priestella should investigate the guards in the districts gates.

Crusch: Why is that? Did you suspect that there are members of the Witch Cultist acting as guards in the gates?

Reinhard: Yes it is very likely, the guards are very strict in guarding the gates but the Witch Cult still entered without noticing. The powers weve seen to the archbishops doesn’t have abilities to teleport immediately inside, the only way they could’ve entered is through the gates.

Hearing Reinhard’s assessments, most of the people inside tensed up realizing that the Witch Cult members already infiltrated to the city and finding them amidst all the people would be akin to finding needle in the middle of haystack.

Otto: If that’s the case then evacuating the residents first would be a big mistake, the witch cultist would ambush the residents and results in major casualties.

Anastasia: We need to find all the members of the Witch Cult in this city and eliminate them all at once. The Witch Cult carries a metia which they can communicate to the archbishops, killing them while not letting them be alerted to our actions.

Reinhard: Yes that is our first goal Anastasia-sama for this plan. I can get the Divine Protection for detecting the miasma, that helps sensing the miasma from the witch cultists. Felix and I, will find these witch cultist while the others will focus solely on killing them. 

Beatrice: Do you have any other people who can sense miasma beside myself and the blue haired maid, red-haired knight?

Reinhard: There is currently no known people who can sense miasma in the city, Beatrice-sama but dont worry, I and others would like to inspect the guards and assign the most trusted guards to look over the gates.

Julius: It’s more reassuring to assign one of us to watch the gates to ensure the security, if it wasnt enough then we could make alternative route for the residents.

Wilhelm: Capella, the Sin Archbishop of Lust can transform into any form she wanted. It would be best to commence the lockdown to the gates not allowing anyone to enter. Then we can inspect the guards and track down the Witch Cultists.

Reinhard: Later, We will assign different people suitable for these tasks. For now we will continue in making strategic plans.

Reinhard takes mental note of everyones suggestion with his Divine Protection of Perfect Memory and speaks up the plan he had made during the viewings.

Reinhard: After the Priscilla and Emilia’s camp arrival, we need to gather all the royal selection camps present as well as some of the knights to defend the city of Priestella.

Julius: We also need to inform the Council of Ten in regard to the attack of the Witch Cult. Our goal is to defeat all of the Sin Archbishops, kill all the witch cultists, protect the City Hall, the districts, and the broadcasting metias. Preventing casualties is our main goal as well as defeating the Witch Cult.

Julius added his statement after Reinhard, he can’t afford to be afraid, he needs to formulate a plan before it’s too late, or else his brother and everyone in his camp are on the line.

Willhelm: We need to group ourselves and assign people who would be the ones to kill certain enemies. Right now we are also lacking in manpower and we might not be enough to defeat all of those cultists.

Willhelm spoke with a solemn tone and determined expression, while everyone was thinking about who are people could approach the given tasks but suddenly Roswaal spoke that made most of the people present have chills on their spines from his next words.

Roswaal: I will offer my assistance and help as much as possiible~ once I arrive in Priestella, I will also send my maids and hire mercenaries to help neutralize the Witch Cult’s attaaack~.

Roswaal used to think that interfering or assisting Subaru during the attack would be unnecessary because he wanted to make Subaru shine even further and would gain growth and development for his plans. 

Additionally, Crusch’s condition in the screen can be abused for the benefits because only Subaru can help cure the condition of her curse which make their camp indebted to him. 

Julius's removal of Anastasia’s knight is very beneficial to their camp because it ensures loss to Anastasia's camp as well as her condition on unable to take control her body. The screen showed many weaknesses to various camps as Roswaal noted so he could use it later in case they will become enemies in the future.

However, right now his position is very fragile and all of the camps are prepared to eliminate him if he doesn’t cooperate so he is forced to take the first move making them think he offers his sincerity in the given situation that will befall them giving his helping hand and trying to improve their perception on him, gaining allies, and manipulating his enemies. 

He was also curious about Otto’s decision to fix the Tome of Wisdom, it was weird because that act was truly unnecessary but if one of his camps could get it like Otto or Subaru, maybe it would still work and his camp gain more advantage towards winning the royal selection. He just has to wait and see Otto’s answer and action to the Book. 

Despite his cold-hearted attitude, a small part of him extended his hand out of kindness as he sympathized with the victims, including Subaru, to the large-scale attack from the Witch Cult. 

He was learning to care for Subaru and slowly become human again, he remembered how much he sacrificed even his lives from different generations for his plans like how Natsuki Subaru continuously to sacrifice his life to save everyone. If what his authority carves his absolute path then he shall follow it and lower his mumber of attempts.

Roswaal: Hmm, looks like even a monster like me can sympathize with others and with Natsuki Subaru, perhaps I have gone too soft after watching the viewings in this theatre.

Otto grits his teeth at Roswaal’s sudden response, he makes himself more suspicious on purpose by offering his helping hand to others. Others wouldn’t take it lightly and be wary of Roswaal since the Book of Wisdom is still intact in his hands, he tries to reach out his secret pocket only to feel that there is nothing.

Otto: Shit, I lost the book did Roswaal secretly take it from me or did I leave it somewhere, I gotta find it later as soon as possible, maybe it was left in the carriage during the teleportation.

Either the Book of Wisdom is confiscated by the Warden or left before their teleportation. As he tried to remember what really happened, a memory was shown to Otto’s mind that was forced to be forgotten or removed.

Otto: Y̶o̶u̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶l̶e̶t̶ ̶u̶s̶ ̶w̶a̶t̶c̶h̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶v̶i̶e̶w̶i̶n̶g̶s̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶e̶n̶t̶e̶r̶t̶a̶i̶n̶m̶e̶n̶t̶,̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶b̶a̶s̶t̶a̶r̶d̶!̶ ̶M̶a̶n̶i̶p̶u̶l̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶u̶s̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶g̶a̶i̶n̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶s̶i̶c̶k̶ ̶p̶l̶e̶a̶s̶u̶r̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶f̶u̶l̶f̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶t̶w̶i̶s̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶d̶e̶s̶i̶r̶e̶s̶.̶ ̶I̶ ̶w̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶n̶e̶v̶e̶r̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶g̶i̶v̶e̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶,̶ ̶W̶a̶r̶d̶e̶n̶,̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶n̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶'̶r̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶G̶o̶d̶ ̶o̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶l̶d̶,̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶a̶ ̶m̶o̶n̶s̶t̶e̶r̶.̶ ̶S̶o̶m̶e̶b̶o̶d̶y̶ ̶w̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶s̶t̶o̶p̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶,̶ ̶e̶v̶e̶n̶ ̶i̶f̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶t̶o̶o̶k̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶d̶a̶m̶n̶ ̶b̶o̶o̶k̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶b̶l̶o̶c̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶p̶o̶w̶e̶r̶s̶,̶ ̶I̶ ̶w̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶f̶i̶n̶d̶ ̶a̶ ̶w̶a̶y̶.̶

The vague memory suddenly lost on Otto’s mind, and a sudden headache hits Otto hard and stops him from thinking about the book and diverts his focus on Roswaal, he will have to destroy the book for necessary measures.

Otto: Why is Natsuki-san really unlucky, his misfortunes are really something else, even my luck is better than his. I'm having my doubts about bringing the book now that Roswaal and others know, this will be harder than I thought.

Despite the book being burned, it is still a very valuable artifact to be used in the future to protect his friend and everyone in the camp. A valuable treasure in his hands will get taken if not carefully kept, he learned during one of his journeys as a merchant. 

He is aware that every camp wants to get their hands on this book to guide their desired future, so he will have to make plans to make the book self-destruct if it falls into other people’s hands. 

Hearing Roswaal’s words puts people's minds in a state of alert. his words are very shady, and the Book of Wisdom didn’t get fully destroyed. If Roswaal gets it, chances are he might become an enemy again. Everyone is about to say their reply to Roswaal’s help, but it was interrupted by Rem with her displeased expression.

Rem: Do you just want to go there to get your stupid book clown? Are you still in love with the witch Roswaal? You are doing me a favor if you can kill yourself so you can reunite with her in the grave.

Rem’s anger towards Roswaal didn’t dissipate a little even after watching Arc 5, she hated every fiber of Roswaal’s being because of his crimes and obsession with a witch who almost made Subaru a heartless person that will be enslaved by her master as a tool for achieving his schemes. She wants to never work for his cause again because it will do more harm than good.

Rem's harsh words annoyed Roswaal a little bit. He was about to reply to Rem but was stopped by Ram.

Ram: I deeply apologize to my sister words Roswaal-sama. I will calm her down and talk to her.  

Roswaal: It’s alright, Ram, just warn her to be caaareful~ with her words and treatment of Echidna.

Ram: As you wish, Roswaal-sama 

The others continued their line of conversation towards Roswaal reassessing him whether if he is an ally or an enemy. They are evaluating whether Roswaal’s cooperation is beneficial or harmful in helping defending the water city. 

There was always a possibility that he will turn his back and betray his own allies if it was for the sake of reviving his teacher base on his criminal records.

They all press further to know Roswaal’s true intention in his offer to help or it was a trap and part of his evil schemes. Rem wants to know whether her master intentions was legit or not so she listened to their conversation with her anger rising through which is about to burst her chest had she not have patience.

While Ram was going towards her sister, her outfit was gently tugged, preventing her movements. Ram already knew who tugged her skirt based on the strength as she looked at her back to see a concerned-looking Petra alongside Frederica, as she suddenly spoke to Ram.

Petra: Uhm, I’m sorry for taking your time Ram-san but can I ask few questions? 

Frederica: Ram, you already know what she wants to ask and I want you to be direct to Petra-chan’s question. We intend to confirm and know Roswaal’s intentions in this matter.

Petra: I just want to know whether he’s going to be trouble again or not. I don’t want him to harm anyone in the future.

Ram: Fine, dont take it too long because my sister’s anger wouldn’t be contained if I am not present.

Petra; Yes, thank you Ram-san

She thanked Ram for spending time for the sake of her convenience, she started to ask the margrave’s intention on his words.

Petra: Does Roswaal really mean his words to help protect Subaru and others in Priestella?, or does he have some bad intentions for his stupid plans?

Frederica: Even I can’t decipher his true intentions whether it was purely good, bad or mixed, did you know something clown’s lover, I mean Ram?

Petra was concerned about her safety and everyone since she knows his master is a cruel and heartless monster who will continue to suffer the people around him for the sake of his plans. 

She dislikes her master due to the past events that happened to them, she wants to make sure that Roswaal's words are genuine to help Subaru and have good intentions. 

Knowing the book wasn’t fully destroyed made Petra stress out on Roswaal’s future action if he reclaim the book again.

Ram: I cannot ignore that harsh joke Frederica, your lucky that this theatre doesn’t allow violence.

She knew why Frederica was harsher than before, after watching Arc 4 her anger to her master rises through as she saw her brother suffer and many people affected just for the clown’s twisted plans.

Frederica cannot forgive her master anymore and justify his inhumanity. Despite that she will still serve for him because she had nowhere else to go and she needed to protect her loved ones.

Despite knowing Frederica’s harshness, she was furious to the last words given by her but she needed to reply to Petra’s words who is agitated to Roswaal statement, she think her words carefully and gave her answer to the worried Petra.

Ram: Petra-chan, I assure you that my master wants to help everyone in Priestella for the sake of everyone's safety. Though he has other intentions for the benefit of our camp, he is slowly learning to care for others thanks to this theatre. 

Ram gave a reassuring statement to relieve some Petra’s anxiety however Petra press further with even more questions.

Petra: What about the book? Does he intend to use it to manipulate everyone and harm us?

Ram: I assure you not to worry about this matter, the oath is still active, so he is not trying to sabotage Barusu and others. He promised to help Barusu in any situation, and he will keep his word, unlike Barusu, who keeps missing his duty as a knight.

Ram’s blunt remark to Subaru made Petra angry a little at her hero’s treatment. She is still wary of Roswaal after all, he is a dangerous person. Ram's words helped calm down Petra a little bit after all. Ram’s judgement of Roswaal is accurate since she can read Roswaal’s intention as clear as day. 

Frederica: Are you sure about that Ram or are you biased by your own feelings toward him?

Ram: Well, your stupidity is clearly passed down to Garf-kun. I can’t believe that after years of Roswaal’s teaching, you still lack tact in your words.

Frederica: Sorry, your master words lost his credibility since the events of Sanctuary. I can’t distinguish whether your loyalty to Roswaal makes you favour him more than others.

Ram didn’t continue to press on this matter since their talk was going in circles with no purpose, she decided to go to Rem since she is starting to lose her temper glaring to Roswaal. As she now decided to leave, Petra asked her last question.

Petra: Am I allowed to go in Priestella?, I want to offer my help for Subaru-sama and others with everything that I can do.

Ram: Sorry Petra-chan, the only thing you can do is to wait for the news and handle things in the mansion with Frederica. Barusu doesn’t want to involve you in this matter, you might hurt him if you are present during the attack.

Ram turned down Petra’s offer to help, a kid like her should not carry the burden of the adult. She saw how many times Petra died in her involvement to the past attacks in their camp. She remembered the past loop where she failed to protect Petra and died within her arms while her eyes gouged out.

It was a painful memory to remember but it serves as her failure in protecting others and it might happen way often to Barusu if Petra was involved.

She turned her back and dispel any thoughts in that matter because it was distracting her to achieve her true goal, to dispel Rem’s anger and slowly fix the broken bonds within the twins.

Petra: Ram, I am sorry I am unable to give you help but I can at least give advice.

Ram stopped her tracks to hear Petra’s words, halting her tracks and waiting for Petra’s advice. Petra continued her previous statement with calm and serene tone.

Petra: Don’t be afraid to try reconcile with your twin sister, I know you are prideful but even I can see your doubts. Don’t worry, Rem will understand your feelings and reason if you show your determination and resolve.

Ram was shocked by Petra’s words, even though she denied her offer to help, she is still trying to find a way to help by easing her heart which made her lips curl into a smile. Dispelling her insecurities, she thanked Petra internally and continued her goal.

Ram approached Rem, who had a furious glare toward Roswaal. Rem’s anger was understandable as he was the mastermind behind Subaru’s suffering and the fall of their village, but she was still loyal to Roswaal. 

Despite his inhumanity, she is still grateful to Roswaal for everything he had to offer. She didn’t feel alone after Rem’s existence was erased, and the pillar of support aside from Barusu. She needed to calm her sister down, whether it was for her selfish desire to protect her master's honor or to be able to continue the discussion of the plans, she didn’t know, or rather, she refused to 

Ram: Don’t disrespect our master sister, he sincerely wants to offer help to fend off those disgusting witch cultists, he already made an oath to not hurt Barusu. Be careful what your words say to Roswaal-sama, sister.

Ram felt sorry for Barusu due to her selfishness in her wish to kill Roswaal; she was happy, but her sister wasn’t. She felt conflicted about which person she should prioritize first, Rem or Roswaal. Eventually, she learned to be greedy from a certain fool and learned to forgive and love wholeheartedly to her master.

Ram: Barusu, your influence is infectious that has no bounds even without you being here, your irritating acts reach no bounds, spreading like a disease. I will have to punish you once we finish saving Priestella.

Ram isn’t going to admit she appreciated Barusu’s choice of sparing Roswaal and becoming a pillar of support in her life. She will have to express it indirectly, and no one has to see, not even her sister, of course. 

Rem: But that clown is dangerous, he might even kill you in cold blood just for a damn book.

Ram: Sister, I will not let Roswaal-sama go to the path of darkness just like last time. 

Rem: But-

Rem tried to interrupt her twin sister words but Ram continued her words.

Ram: He was starting to change thanks to Barusu’s effort from last year’s incident, right now he is following the same path as what Barusu would take. Despite how much I despise Barusu, his decision is what made me happy and satisfy my needs.

Rem: He might be starting to learn to be human again but I cannot overlook his crimes and what he did to Subaru-kun. I will never forgive him, no matter how much he tries to beg for forgiveness.

Ram: It is true that his schemes made your loved one suffer, but doesn’t he deserve a second chance just like how Barusu forgiven you.

Rem: WHY YOU, don’t compare my actions on what I did to Subaru-kun with that clown, he is way beyond forgiveness. 

Ram: I am not comparing your past mistakes to Roswaal’s mistakes, I am pointing the fact that he deserves another chance to change. Yes, he is beyond forgiveness but he is not beyond saving. 

Rem: His nature never changed all for the sake of his goals, do you think you can change him and stop him if he is going to keep following his plans that will eventually ruin our lives?

Ram: Some people can stop him, like Barusu, Emilia, and others in the group. Even Barusu needs to acknowledge Roswaal as his ally. Without Roswaal-sama's intervention, we would’ve died and perished in the village. Even if Roswaal-sama did it for his book, I am still grateful to him. Promise sister, I will not let Roswaal-sama hurt Barusu and you again.

Ram’s eyes are full of determination and conviction that shines towards her sister, Rem gripped her dress in frustration, but Ram hugged her suddenly, calming down the oni maid.

Ram: You must consider my feelings sister, after I lost you don’t you know how alone I was and lost. 

Rem:---------Hk

Ram: I couldn’t even remember you, I feel like I was all alone in this world. It’s like what you said to Barusu, my feelings are the same as yours as my soul and heart was frozen around that time but thanks to Roswaal-sama he made me feel that I have a purpose in life.

Rem: You remember me now right, does that mean that your feelings to the clown are false?

Ram: No, my loyalty to Roswaal-sama will not be lowered nor my feelings shall be changed. It hurts to hear that my feelings to Roswaal-sama is false but this feeling is true even before your name was eaten. Don’t worry, my focus will be solely on the two of you just like how it was what Barusu remembered.

Ram: I am sorry sister for feeling this way, I can’t help for falling in love to Roswaal. I am such a hopeless sister.

Rem: Fine, I will consider your feelings for him for now. He must prove to me if he can be trusted and relied on, if he is not showing results then I will skin him alive.

Ram: Should I say the same to you sister to Barusu- No he already proven himself capable to you.

Rem: Yes, your right sister

Rem didn’t fully let her wrath go but for now, she will set it aside and confront it when it happens. Her beatdown to her master will be postponed later, right now she needed to divert her anger and focus on the main problem, the Witch Cult’s attack on Priestella. 

After watching a possible future from Arc 5, she saw the destruction of the once beautiful city that Subaru liked, and their camp was headed there currently. She saw how Subaru died in many ways that broke her heart once again, and other people were suffering as well. If left without proper actions, Subaru will once again suffer and go into another universe or other timeline that will once again be forgotten, except only Subaru can remember.

Despite seeing the darkest parts of the viewings, she never lost hope that Subaru will eventually win. She remembered her promise that her hero will avenge her and everyone who was hurt during the sudden attack of two sin archbishop. He commited her last promise to bring demise to the witch cult specifically to Regulus, which she was happy that he is one step away in achieving her promise to kill Gluttony. 

She was astonished to see her hero’s growth and how her words led him to become the hero that become the light of everyone’s hope. She was proud to see how her actions greatly improve Subaru and his proclamation as a hero fills her chest with happiness. It was regrettable that the Subaru on the screen never got to see Rem but in the future she will show Subaru how amazing he is and tell him how much he was loved by everyone including her. 

It was her biggest mistake presenting her name to the enemy and she regretted it because her actions made Subaru and Ram suffer. The guilt of her mistake was heavy that it almost crushes her spirit but she remembered it can still be fixed and have better future for her loved ones.

For now, Rem needed to go there as soon as possible before it was too late. She will settle her revenge in Priestella from the Gluttonies for taking her memories and time with her beloved hero for one year. 

Rem: Damn Gluttonies, I swear with all my heart to utterly destroy every time I see you all walking alive. 

She won't give mercy and leniency to the Witch Cult for removing innocent people's lives in the new future. 

While Rem and Ram talked to each other for reconciliation, the atmosphere of the theatre was tense after hearing Roswaal’s words until he tried to ease their tension through his reply.

Roswaal: Don't worry, I sincerely giiiiiiiiive you my full assistance and cooperation in helping Subaru defend Priestellllllla, I have no plans on taking the book, my utmost priiiiiiority is to make sure my camp is saaaaaaafe from the Witch Cult.

Everyone looked to Crusch and Reinhard for confirmation whether his lying or not until Crusch and Reinhard confirmed he was not lying and telling the truth. Despite Roswaal truthfulness, they still dont trust him due to his manipulative nature. Felt pressed down Roswaal for other information she can fish out, trying to find his true intention is vital to judge whether he is trusted or not.

Felt: Sorry, I don't trust scheming clowns. Sure you have plans on taking the Book of Wisdom, well your efforts will be in vain because your book will either be taken or destroyed by the other camps once we get our hands on it.

The Book of Wisdom is a powerful artifact to have all of them want to claim the ownership of the book for their personal desire. One of them was Felt, her biggest desire is to have a best future for everyone especially to Natsuki Subaru where she owed him big time for saving her and sacrificing his life for the sake of others happiness. 

She was inspired to her Big Bro’s heroism, so she will give him happiness for everything he done. Eliminating the clown is the challenge she must overcome to get Big Bro in her side and stopping his evil schemes once and for all. She will do everything to crush the stupid clown in any way.

She is scaring the margrave to make him feel pressured which losing his calm will make him prone to make mistakes and seeing other emotions that can be exploited by other camps. Roswaal’s long experience in negotiations helped see through Felt’s intention, to crush any doubts from other people, he will state his point and facts to disprove Felt’s statement. Finishing this topic is important in hiding his true intentions. 

Roswaal: You're wrong Felt-sama, it was Otto-kun who decided whether the book would be reeeeeepaired or destrooooooyed. He will have to decide carefully on how to deeeeeeeal with this issue and I can’t retake it due to Subaru-kun’s beeeeeeet.

Roswaal: The book has already served its purpose, I just need to follow Natsuki Subaru’s path and it will lead me to it. If things go wrong, I would plan to correct the history on its right path. My position is in big trouble, but I will still manage at the end with Subaru’s help and my 400-year reputation would convince the Council that these things never happened.

Passing down the baton to Otto so he will have to handle this situation, they have no choice but to listen Otto’s confirmation and his intention to the book delaying this matter further. Confirming that he can’t go against to Subaru is important to make others think he’s harmless and controlled by Natsuki Subaru.

Otto gritting his teeth in anger reading the Margrave’s intention, he have no choice but to vouch for him so they can continue in planning in dealing the Witch Cult’s attack. He was thinking the right words for everyone to hear about his plans to the Book of Wisdom.

Everyone look to Otto to know his true intentions to the book whether it will be destroyed or safeguarded by him. It was very crucial to know since if he will give it to Roswaal then there is a possibility he can be enemy again manipulating in secret. Mixed opinions are in everyone’s mind whether the book should be disposed, used it for the kingdom or their personal gains.

Otto: Everyone, I assure you that I will not give the book to Roswaal nor to the Witch Cult. However, no one should get the hands of it apart from Natsuki-san.

Anastasia: if you decided that then you needed to give us your compromise for that decision

Otto: Dont worry, I will give information if I ever lost the book, used it or destroyed it. 

Anastasia: Well so long as your careful, we can negotiate if you want to trade it to me. I’ll be careful with the use of it unlike that clown.

Otto: Well, I humbly decline Anastasia-sama, this book is too dangerous for anyone to use it. I will make sure that the book is only owned by myself.

Anastasia: That’s a tad bit greedy, but alright you can tell us your deepest desire because we can’t have a mastermind who will manipulate as a leverage to win the royal selection.

Otto: We can talk that later Anastasia-sama, I still haven’t decided how to use it but I ensure you it’s not going to be used to win at the selection or any dark reasons.

Anastasia looked towards Crusch for confirmation as she confirmed he was not lying. She was relieved that it will be used for good reason. 

Otto: For now, we need to prioritize our current plans right now, we don’t have time to argue about the book, we only have less time to prepare if we keep this up. 

They unanimously agreed that they will continue to waste time if they shift their focus towards the main discussion.

Otto: We also need Roswaal’s help to minimize casualties, if his intentions is revealed to be bad, No one should hesitate in subduing him.

Felt: Wont there any alternatives beside that clown?

Otto: Unfortunately, Felt-sama we only have Roswaal as an option here, most of hired men will back down hearing the complete assault of the Witch Cult. 

Otto gave out his opinion to everyone about the plans of the book, Crusch and Reinhard confirmed that Otto’s words showed no lies nor malice. 

Some of the people harbor doubt about Otto’s words but they have no choice but to comply, it is more necessary to finish the plan.  Crusch wants to confirm whether the Margrave words show credibility or not by asking the last question.

Crusch: Do you have plans in betraying us during the attack or any ill intentions towards us?

Roswaal: Yes if you betray me first or intentionally attacking me but if not then I don’t have to betray nor display my hostility to you all.

She is skeptical to and distrustful towards Roswaal, but they still needed manpower to defend the city. They just need to accept Roswaal’s offer since the more people the higher the chance they will survive.  

Crusch: Well he is telling the truth, we need the Margrave’s help in order to lend us a hand during this crisis. 

Crusch; However, we will monitor his actions in case he will try to conduct his plans in secret, does anyone oppose?

Anastasia: I was wondering, is really his main intention is to give a hand for his camp? I have a gut feeling the clown didn’t told us his entire motives.

Priscilla: Even if the clown doesn’t cooperate, he still doesn’t have a choice but to comply to try lighten his charges. 

Felt: Damn, I knew the clown was up to something. Trying to escape charges with sweet talks, what a cheeky clown you are.

Priscilla: Yes, I must agree to the gutter rat ramblings, I must say it’s a dirty move but if he doesn’t give me results then I shall burn his soul to finally end his miserable life.

Priscilla brought her fan to her face to hide her disgust to the clown, as she deliver her threat to the Margrave, Emilia did the same.

Emilia: Roswaal, I reeally hope you cooperate this time because many people are on the line. Don’t do your stupid plans during the attack because I wont hesitate to punish you.

Emila threatened Roswaal in icy tone to remind him to never do harm to Subaru and others by his plans.

Roswaal: As you wish, Emilia-saaama~.

Roswaal complied to Emilia’s words while others focused their attention on formulating the plan.

Everyone finally calmed down after confirming Roswaal’s intention and continued their important discussion.

As their meeting continued, they listened to the other camps that were talking to each other in unison until Anastasia's voice reverberated in the theatre

Anastasia: Well, we need to volunteer to defend the city of Priestella in the future. Without your help, many lives in Priestella will be lost. We are in quite a predicament now and we are aware of the true danger of our future. However, we need to deal with it with extreme measures and caution in dealing with this attack. 

Everyone listened to Anastasia attentively as she began speaking with her thoughts in this situation.

Anastasia: I request a temporary alliance in all of our camps in order to fight the oncoming attack of the Witch Cult.

Anastasia learned the dangers of the upcoming future by watching Arc 5, it was a very wise decision to accept the Warden's offer to continue watching and gaining information about the upcoming battles.  She doesn’t know how many arcs they are going to watch, but it is assumed that this will be their final viewings, so they need to make every break count. 

The only thing she complained about was Subaru not being awake, Subaru has the mindset of an experienced master strategist, which makes Anastasia deeply admired and valued as well as his resiliency, big heart, and antics that deeply entertained her.

She wanted to befriend Subaru because that was what her heart desired and she believed together they could create ideas that would be revolutionary to the world. 

If Subaru was awake, they could have made a plan together to solve this problem with his intelligence and experience in these situations. However, the Warden insisted he should be sleeping after they finished watching the future arcs, Anastasia tried to press further but stopped after she realized it was more of an order than a negotiation.

Business matters should be secondary, as the safety of the citizens should be the primary priority. She must focus on finding a plan that doesn’t sacrifice lives or get killed as Subaru proposed during the attack. 

Anastasia: Easier said than done, Jeez, I can’t believe this situation is Subaru’s usual problem during the past arcs. Dealing with this is always a pain in the ass, I have to worry about everything and monitor everyone’s actions to make right decisions during this to ensure everyone's safety. 

Right now she could replicate strategies that her future counterpart will use during Arc 5, she will negotiate with all the camps to become allies temporarily.

Everyone is busy absorbing what Anastasia said, they are currently thinking about how to deal with this scenario until someone speaks up.

Felt: Yeah, let’s do that, I wanna kick their asses with Reinhard and Big Bro. They are finished once we have a concrete plan.

Crusch: I concur, I don’t want the people to suffer from Gluttony and Capella’s power. I want to avoid people dying from upcoming tragedies. 

Everyone remembered the victims of Gluttony and Lust, they felt anger, fear, and disgust at the Sin Archbishops' cruelty. After seeing the power of Capella, they felt their heartbreaking turning the once ordinary people into giant flies or abominable creatures. Just seeing their transformation sent shivers down their spine. 

Crusch is furious at the Witch Cult's machinations for their monstrosity, seeing the tortured civilians and their deaths boils down Crusch's heart filled with anger. She remembered that the dragon didn’t even help to save the people from Priestella if the dragon is useless hen she will take this matter into her own hands for hurting Felix, Wilhelm, Subaru, and even herself. 

Crusch: I have to set aside my emotions for now, my allies needed me, and panicking wouldn’t do anything, I needed to be strong for the sake of others.

She also needed to improve herself and be better at protecting her loved ones unlike her amnesiac counterpart who is unable to even protect others because of the dragon curse from Capella, as long as she can now regain her memories, she vowed to never weak and to prioritize on fighting for her camp and her allies than to let her fear take over.

Felix: Crusch-sama, are you sure about this, the Witch Cult is very dangerous, what if they will eat your memories again? What if they are going to curse you? What if you get hurt again? Please, I don't want you to suffer from this.

Felix was panicking and overcome by the fear of the Witch Cult, seeing Crusch in the screen being cursed and trampled by Capella broke his heart as he heard the constant agony of Crusch that cemented his mind. It was painful to see Crusch suffering, during the viewings, she tried to rip out her ears and eyes, but it was stopped by Crusch It took several tries to calm the healer down.  

Priscilla: That cowardly cat can’t even have the resolve to fight after seeing her master helplessly struggle, that obsession is disgusting, it makes me want to puke, if you can’t even be a proper knight then quit your job and be your pathetic worthless self along with your master.

Priscilla scoffed at the cat healer due to his cowardice, even the foolish commoner showed more resolve than the stupid cat. 

Felix ignored Priscilla as he was trembling, remembering the events during Arc 5, he wanted to get out to Priestella as soon as possible just to make Crusch safe.

Felix: I'm very sorry Subaru-kun, I know you will never forgive me and we can’t be friends anymore after I abandoned helping. I am a knight, but I’m such a coward and weak, everyone is so strong, even Subaru is more useful than me. 

He continued to hate himself for feeling scared, he felt disgusted for everything he had insulted Subaru. Despite Subaru’s weakness, he can bend the world and fate with his strong will and determination. What he lacks is determination and strength, he wasn’t willing to risk Crush's life for it. 

Crusch: Felix!

Crusch hugged her trembling knight into her arms, Crusch's warmth made Felix calm down his nerves as she said something to her knight.

Crusch: Felix, people need our help, I can’t help but feel guilty if I was unable to help them, then they will die because of my inaction. This is the chance to repay Subaru’s kindness towards us. If he needs help, we need to support him as much as possible, they are our allies and I wish to never disappoint Natsuki Subaru.

She learned to help others if she had the power during Arc 3, she doesn’t want to see herself just like her past counterpart who refused to offer help to Subaru and he paid the price with a painful death because of her ignorance. 

Felix: But Crusch-

Cruach: It’s fine Felix, my memory was restored unlike my counterpart on the screen. I can do more things and I would be more cautious if there was danger surrounding me. Our allies would make a plan to ensure our safety and everyone else during the attack, so no need to worry. I also need you for healing our allies, without you, then many people will die.

Crusch determination can be seen through her amber-colored eyes piercing the lingering doubt and fears to Felix for now. Felix stared at Crusch in amazement, seeing her resolve, he reluctantly agreed since he wanted to help people as much as he could, his lady would be disappointed if he didn't cooperate. He gathers all of his resolve and makes a bold statement filled with determination.

Felix: Crusch-sama, I'm very sorry, I just want to protect you

Crusch: Don’t worry Felix, I am now complete after my memories are back. Try to forgive Subaru next time you meet him in Priestella.

Felix: I will try my best to fulfill my duty and to properly apologize to Subaru-kyun. 

His shaking voice can be heard in his statement, but he managed to deliver it to his master. He feels ashamed of his earlier worries, he finally understood that Crusch is more prepared than the one shown on the screen, he needs to show his faith to his master, and he just needs to prove his worth and have the resolve to help defend Priestella just like Subaru.

While Crusch’s camp is solving their internal problems and conflicts, Priscilla delivered her answer to Anastasia.

Priscilla: I suppose I will have to agree as well, I will help deal with those disgusting monsters. The world aligns with my will as well, those pathetic pigs will be erased from this world's existence.

Priscilla was thinking of getting the glory and credit for defeating the Witch Cult,  she also wanted to kill Regulus because she was irritated by his voice and his childish tantrums. 

She remembered how Regulus died, befitting his title of Greed; she was entertained at the thought of killing the annoying Sin Archbishop. 

She already defeated Sirius with Liliana in the future, so her confidence in defeating Regulus was at an all-time high, and already knowing his weakness, she is already willing to kill his wives to end their lives with their pathetic husband. As long as the world follows her command, nothing can stop her will. 

Emilia: I want to help as much as I can, I don’t want to see people suffer and die from this future attack. I also don’t want Subaru to do this alone, he already suffers enough, at least I have a way to help Subaru in the future. 

She expressed her genuine concern for her knight as she doesn’t want to let Subaru carry all the burden and suffering by himself. She has seen the slow degradation of her knight’s mind due to his authority. 

While it may have save many lives, the one thing he couldn’t save is himself and that what scares Emilia most, her knight becoming a heartless monster that will continue to die for the sake of others.

Emilia thought that going to Priestella gave her a chance to reciprocate her love to Subaru and to tell him she knows all of the pain and agony he experienced trying to save her and others but now it will all be delayed because of the damn witch cultists that will continuously torment their lives and ruin everything. 

She remembered Subaru’s struggles and sufferings during the large-scale attack on Priestella because of her carelessness and foolishness that was shown on the screen, she didn’t want to see Subaru suffer and slowly becoming insane due to Sirius' authority, and all of the surrounding people.

She wants to stop the Witch Cult from creating more destruction in their lives and to make them pay for what they have done.  

Emilia: Mother Fortuna, I hope I didn’t fail you just like with Geuse.

She also wants to investigate Sirius's identity, she resembles someone similar, and her anxiety and concern do not dissipate if she doesn't know the identity of Sin Archbishop of Wrath, she wishes all her might that Sirius wasn’t her Mother Fortuna. All of those fears and concerns will be set aside from now, and they need to agree on a temporary alliance from all the camps to neutralize the Witch Cult with minimal damage.

She can only hope that they would surely do better than what is shown on the screen, she vividly remembered Subaru’s speech that tickles her maidenly heart. She was proud seeing Subaru’s growth and development from 1 year of trials and tribulations. She didn’t want to let Subaru do this alone this time for sure, as long as everyone is united, they will triumph this darkness together.

Anastasia: So can I take your words as an agreement?

All the royal candidates nodded in agreement to Anastasia’s words, Anastasia smiled a little at their response, thus she started speaking about her plans.  

Crusch: What are your plans and suggestions, Anastasia?

Anastasia: Before we talk about our plans, can I invite Echidna to talk with us?

Everyone had a little doubt about Anastasia, more specifically about her fox scarf, Great Spirit of Echidna

After the screen reveals the artificial spirit Anastasia had, they feel creeped out by the mannerisms the fox scarf has; they are too similar to the Witch of Greed, Echidna. 

Petra: Can we call you Eridna, Echidna?

Echidna (Eridna): Sure thing little one, there is a chance that confusion arises from my name after all.

Subaru gave a nickname to the fox scarf, he named it Eridna as a pun. Everyone liked the nickname for various reasons, one of them is that they don’t want to be reminded of Echidna. As people began to agree, Anastasia and Eridna began to discuss their own plans.

Anastasia: I suggest the order for Priestella will be on total lockdown after the inhabitants manage to evacuate. 

Anastasia: We need to guard the broadcasting metia not allowing Sirius authority to work. I will also deploy the knights and Iron Fang members to guard the outskirts of Priestella. 

Anastasia: Emilia’s camp is coming, so I would give them permission to enter Priestella and start our plans with him to defend. We need help from Emilia’s camp to volunteer in defending Priestella, we need their power to eliminate the Witch Cult as soon as possible.

Everyone nodded to Anastasia’s plan, but before they could talk, the fox-scarf added a disturbing statement.

Eridna: We need Natsuki Subaru as a fail-safe if there is an inevitable loss to the people here.

This statement caused an uproar in the Emilia camp while Beatrice spoke up first as a representative of the Emilia camp’s thoughts

Beatrice: Don’t you dare use my contractor’s death as a way to control the future in fact! He is the only one who decides to use his power to control, I suppose.

Even though the fox scarf was her sister from her mother's creations, she didn’t treat her like a sister would. After hearing Eridna’s words, their chance of having a sister relationship is reduced to the dust.

Her personality is like her mother or her personality and her mannerisms might be a replica of the Witch of Greed, Echidna; she had mixed feelings about it, but eventually, she accepted the differences between this Great Spirit and her mother. 

This conversation reminded her of a scene where Subaru almost went into a soul contract with Echidna and even showed her cold-hearted attitude.  

She was full of rage and contempt for the fox scarf after hearing about using Subaru as a tool and dying over and over again just to achieve her dream results. She was reminded of the scene where the contractor suffered in the past arcs and his dead eyes as he continuously died by other people, she didn’t like to see it even a bit and she will try to avoid letting her contractor suffer again.  She would never let her contractor get hurt by others' stupidity and selfishness.

Eridna: Well, excuse me, Beatrice, I don't plan to control his death by my own decisions, besides Natsuki Subaru doesn’t want any of us to die by any means. I'm just saying that we need him so if we fail, he can decide whether to use his power or not. 

Beatrice: Didn’t you see enough my contractor suffered because of everyones mistakes, I suppose.

Eridna: Well, I have seen it and I sympathize his sacrifices in order to have us a better life but lets think it logically, Beatrice

Beatrice: Don’t utter those empty words, in fact! Since when did my contractor suffering logical.

Eridna: Well this opportunity helps us make Natsuki Subaru grow and monitor his actions, do you know what would happen if we can’t control Natsuki Subaru.

Julius: There is a possibility that we wouldn’t be aware on his actions and his recklessness leads to serious problems.

Whether they like it or not, they need Subaru’s knowledge, skills, and power to face the disturbing future that awaits them. Some people feel disgusted about using Subaru as a failsafe, but they have no choice since there is no certainty they can win this battle; only Subaru has the power to do so.

Beatrice: We need to do our best to not let Subaru use his cursed power in fact! I’m not going to let my contractor kill himself or get killed by others. We still don’t know how his powers truly work, whether to travel back in time or to transport his soul to another timeline, in fact!.

Upon hearing Beatrice's words, they begin to reconsider whether Subaru’s Return By Death usage is worth the risk, even though the viewings showed everyone the truth and forbidden knowledge, they still don’t know how Subaru’s power works, and their worry arises remembering the words of Echidna and those forgotten worlds. Subaru dying and transporting to another parallel universe breaks their heart

Petra: Everyone, remember Al-sama’s words? Subaru-sama’s power is time-based if it was about transporting to another world where there are several versions of themselves, then there was another Witch of Envy. Multiple versions of the Witch of Envy don’t want their Subaru to be taken, even to their other selves, so they can only return by time.

Petra tries to reassure everyone by stating her opinion about Subaru’s Return By Death, if the people’s focus is redirected on another topic, they would waste time on finishing the discussion before they could create a concrete plan. 

Petra hides her fear and anxiety by remembering how Subaru saved Priestella and his ingenuity, but even that couldn’t stop her shaking her hands at the absolute fear on all camps facing the Witch Cult. 

Petra: I just always leave it to Subaru and others, if only I can help them to lighten their burdens.

Since watching Arc 5, she couldn’t stop hiding through Frederica’s body after seeing so many disturbing images that were far worse than any other Arcs, the grotesque bodies of Capella’s victims and other people’s deaths truly made Petra nauseated to the sight of it. 

She just has to believe that everything will be alright after they finish the plan to defend Priestella, she wants to help, but she can’t because she lacks the power to do so, and she will become a burden if she does so. Calming people is the least she can do right now for the sake of everyone’s future.

Everyone digested the little maid’s words, and as they realized that the little girl had a point, their emotions were full of relief that Subaru would not leave them if he died. 

Crusch and Reinhard had a little doubt about Al’s words when he made his point about Subaru’s power, but they both sensed lies in Al’s statement. It’s a hint of a lie that they detected using their blessing. Al did not just think that Subaru goes back in time; it was something else. He knew about Gluttony's power and even stood toe to toe against Capella. Al might know something about Subaru more than everyone knew, even more than the viewers given information. 

Reinhard is also suspicious of Al for a multitude of reasons, one of them is killing the nine members of the Council of Ten and his mysterious actions during the attack. He wants to interrogate Al after arriving in Priestella, but he sets it aside for now. 

Aldebaran right now has a cold sweat on his face; everyone is highly suspicious of him, especially after what happened in Arc 5. He curses the theater for making him suspicious to the viewers, but he also thanks the Warden for not revealing his powers during the Capella fight. The Warden removed parts that involved the contents about his powers. Everyone was confused as to how Al is able to fight Capella with no problems and his participation during the attack when he suddenly went off somewhere. Everyone concluded that Al is either a person who is very lucky or might have a trump card. As everyone calmed down, they wanted confirmation from Al, so Felt asked him the question.

Felix: Al-san, can you confirm Petra’s words?

Al: Petra-chan is right; if there are multiple Witches of Envy, then the multiverse would be already dead by different versions of Witches of Envy's constant attack because they were jealous of their counterparts that Subaru was taken, and sharing is impossible for them.  

Everyone was overjoyed by Al’s words; they temporarily forgot their suspicions on Al as they confirmed their thoughts.  Ricardo, on the other hand, had other questions prepared for Aldebaran.

Ricardo: Well, Al, can you tell us what your counterpart does exactly, and your trump card during the time you fought with Capella on screen?

Ricardo was very wary of the future that will happen; he needed to know how to deal with this because he didn't want Julius and everyone to suffer. The screen showed how both of them got defeated by a single archbishop and how his friend paid the price for their defeat. 

He cursed his weakness and frustration as he dispelled any negative thoughts; for now he needed to deal with the other problem, Aldebaran.

Ricardo treats Aldebaran as a friend during the viewing of the screen, they both agree with each other and are very fun to converse with, but during the viewing of Arc 5, Ricardo changes his perception of his supposed buddy because he is incomprehensible as Subaru.

Ricardo: Why do things get more complicated, everyone has secrets spilled left and right in this damn theatre. It is really hard to trust others like Aldebaran or Eridna. It was easier if I knew their motives than hiding them.

Someone who can fight on par with the Sin Archbishop with only one hand and wearing a helmet, which blocks his view even more, either he is the luckiest guy during the fight or something else that was more sinister than the former. Accusingly killed nine of the Council of Ten and even flooded the city watergates. For now, he will have to voice out his concerns towards Priscilla’s knight, whether he is an enemy or not. 

Everyone gazes at Al, who is sitting, not looking at their gazes, then he spoke

Al: Nah, sorry pal, I can’t tell you even if I want to and it is an invasion of my privacy as well, I don't want to get used by other people, but I will help Bro in defending the city with all of you as well. 

Al thanked the Warden for removing their memories of his power, he avoided mentioning the death of the Council of Ten because that would trigger people’s attention.

Crusch: Can you tell us your intentions and background before being Priscilla’s knight?

Crusch intended to know who Al was by interrogating him right now to extract as much info as she could from Al. His mysterious motives and identity unsettles her and his extraordinary trump card against Capella and the Witch Cult. 

Al: Well, Crusch, I want you to respect my privacy, please, I’m not your enemy, but I am your ally in this battle. I will contribute to the defense as much as possible, but please, I don’t intend to harm you and all of you, so I request that you to at least believe a little. 

Tivey: Are you alright that you are under surveillance during the attack, Al-san?

Al: Well, little one, if you want to ease your nerves from me you guys can monitor my actions once we get out of this theater.

Al would need to find another way to protect the secrets of the location of Typhon’s bones, he will have to set the stage before they can realize. If things go wrong, he still has his authority as long as the checkpoint will be before the attack.

Al: Damn, I might get in trouble if I get caught. I need to protect Princess and Bro from unlikeable outcomes. As long as my territory works, I can overcome those obstacles during the attack. My stars are truly bad today.

Tivey’s mind is on high alert towards Priscilla’s knight after being accused of killing the Council of Ten during arc 5. His feats towards Capella are astonishing, and his knowledge. He had a bad feeling that creeps through his skin and has goosebumps all over his fur as a striking thought emerges through his mind.

Tivey: Dammit, I can’t calm down; there are so many unknown things from that knight. Does he have authority? Is he the sin archbishop of Pride? Does he have a relationship with the Witch Cult? What are the conditions to his Trump card? Is Al lying to all of us? How does he know other archbishops' weaknesses?

Tivey perceives Aldebaran as a true enigma just like Subaru, he might look weak at first glance, but the screen shows that he is far too dangerous.

As Tivey’s mind filled with never-ending questions and fear continued to linger, Mimi noticed her brother's anxiety. Mimi smacked her brother’s back, making Tivey knock his thoughts and groan in pain.

Mimi: Dont overthink it Tivey; if he is an enemy we just beat his ass if he is not then we just look over to him to see if he will do something bad.

Mimi was slightly afraid of the knight, but she was still confident they could beat him if he suddenly became an enemy.  She just wanted to smack her brother’s head for thinking way too much; there are far more important things to listen to than worry about these problems.

Al answered Crusch evasively while others just gave up interrogating Al further, suddenly Priscilla spoke out.

Priscilla: Hmph, I don’t need commoners' or the jester's power to win, even Liliana is enough to win a fight against that disgusting archbishop of wrath. I request her contact so I can get her to my camp and help me subjugate those wretched souls. 

She made a bold declaration in front of everyone. Priscilla was impressed by Liliana’s singing voice and deeply admired her talent. The world will bring her after getting out of the theater. She was confident in winning the battle against one of the archbishops; she smiled at the thought of it.

Felt: Hah, you can win battles as many as you like, but if you can’t even win the war then you are as arrogant as Regulus. Don't be cocky, you stupid bitch.

Priscilla: Gutter rats don’t understand my divine words; I myself have already proven that I can easily subjugate the archbishop of Wrath with Liliana while you thrash around, almost forgotten by Gluttony. Reflect your words, filthy brat, and you can just run away from this like a pathetic little child.

Priscilla snapped, her eyes now full of fury at the yellow-haired brat, she tried to pull out the Yang sword, but it didn’t work.

Reinhard: Let’s not start a fight while conducting the meeting, Priscilla-sama, and my lady. 

Both royal candidates took a glance at each other; their eyes were full of contempt and disgust for each other, then looked at the people in front of them.

Julius, on the other hand, has different thoughts running across his mind.

Julius: I don’t want Subaru to die to fix our mistakes; he suffered enough because of our slothfulness and selfishness; my brother paid the dear price because I am too weak.

He remembered being forgotten by the whole world and even forgetting his brother. He feels incompetent for losing to Roy Alphard. He was even more hurt seeing his brother in a comatose state like Rem; he was crying so hard, not caring about his knightly appearance, as his brother will become a victim in the future because he is not strong enough to protect him. Anastasia was concerned about her knight and felt sympathy for his counterpart and for Julius.

Garfiel: Don’t worry, Julius, My amazing self will help my cap’n to win, I know how to defeat Kurgan and those bastards will pay the price for hurting Mimi and cap’n

Garfiel’s anger was boiling seeing the Witch Cult destroy the once pristine water city and make her mother’s current husband turn into a dragon. It took his entire willpower not to get overwhelmed by rage and animosity, remembering the scenes on the screen. 

He still has doubts about himself defeating the legendary sacred hero Kurgan and being such a wimp during other fights, but he learned the true purpose, or getting stronger, to be able to protect his friends and people, and that all his strength is for he is the Shield of the Sanctuary after all.

Mimi: Yeah, Mimi agrees with you, Garf. Together we can beat their asses, and I can give you a lot of hugs.

Garfiel: Yeah, you and ! will have revenge on those bastards for hurting many people and cap’n, though the last part is really unnecessary.

Mimi pouted angrily at Garf in a cute way, hearing the last statement

Mimi was very proud of Garfiel and mini-boss after their display of their efforts in defending Priestella. She was very sad seeing her master in a sleeping state in her Od and was replaced by Eridna. Despite her anxieties, she heartily believed they can confidently win this through without losses as long as they are strong and not getting heavy losses in their camp.

Frederica: Garf, please don't be reckless; our mother is alive so if you die, I can’t tell our Mom how you've grown now. Please, Garf, if you need some other help, don’t be fraid to call others; you are not weak but also be careful. I don't want to lose you.

Frederica was heavily worried about Garfiel when he was about to participate in the attack in the future. She doesn’t want to see her brother suffer and die alone just like what happened in Arc 4, and his despair broke her heart during the viewings.

She knows better that they needed Garf’s strength to be able to help the poor people that is about to get struck by the tragedy that awaits. She clenched her hands tightly and took a deep breath to calm her nerves down 

Frederica and Garfiel were overjoyed to see their mom was alive all along in Priestella. Garfiel and Frederica both want to meet their Mom and hug her tight, missing their mother’s love and embrace, but for now, they need to prioritize protecting the people of Priestella and serving their duties at their camp 

Garfiel: Brotto, I don’t plan to die with those bastards' hands. I also want to make my cap’n and my mom proud, my big sister, and my half brother and sister. 

Garfiel is determined to help his captain and save everyone to protect him from a tragic future. He doesn’t want his captain to suffer again; helping him is the least he could do.

Otto: Garfiel, please listen to your sister and never be reckless just like what we have seen on the screen, that was too reckless of you to almost die from Kurgan’s attack, don’t be discouraged by others and yourself for being lucky to win; you are already one of the strongest in the country.

Otto calmly reassures to his brother with his advice after being clouded by your weakness 

Otto: Never let your fear cloud your eyes because everyone is going to back you up.

Garfiel: Hah nice words Ottobro, since when are you so good at motivating others don’t worry; I'm not going to waste my one life and I already know my weaknesses thanks to this theatre, I’ll embrace them and use them to be stronger just like my cap’n

Otto gave important advice to his friend, he saw his brother's self-doubts and conflicts about his own strength during the fight against Kurgan. He doesn’t want his friend or his supposed brother to be blinded by fear and his weakness. He will continue to support Garfiel and Subaru because that is what he desires and his duty to serve.    

Reinhard: We also need to make a team to defeat each sin archbishop. We need to capture Sirius as soon as possible to prevent her authority in affecting others. I will volunteer to remove her as soon as possible.

All nodded in agreement and proceeded in listening to what Reinhard would say.

Reinhard: We need to utilize fake names so the Gluttonies prevent eating our names and memories. We need to face them with someone who they didn’t meet to prevent casualties from their authority. Emilia, Subaru 

Reinhard: We will start to plan our position where we position ourselves anticipating their place of attack. I will start drawing he map of Priestella locating enemies and allies based on where they attack on the screen.

Everyone is about to nod in agreement, but a sudden bright flash illuminated their bodies the same as when they first teleported in this place. 

Everyone immediately focused on what was going on in front of them and prepared to question the Warden with the sudden things happening to them.

Crusch: Warden, what is the meaning of this?!

Cruch was startled by the sudden development of the situation; they wanted to have extra time to discuss their plans. She suddenly felt something foreign; she doesn’t know what that is, but she wants to have an explanation with the Warden.

Ferris: Our gates and mana are back from original state, nyah

He was heavily worried to Crusch so he decided to get closer to her, His instinct felt something was very wrong with the light; he didn’t know what it was but he needs to get closer to Crusch as soon as possible.

Anastasia: Does this mean we're going back to our world?  How unfortunate, just as we are about to finish our plan, I still haven't managed to make a deal with the Warden.

She was planning to make a deal with the Warden to stay longer at this theater and watch the future arcs to prevent future troubles, but it was already too late. Her experience as a merchant feels that this situation is wrong, 

Anastasia: The Warden didn’t even warn the other candidates or any of us, so why is he forcefully letting us out? Our deal in watching these future arcs still stands, right? 

Anastasia was thinking at rapid speeds for the reason the Warden’s sudden action, her thoughts interrupted by Julius words

Julius: I am afraid that is not the case, Anastasia-sama, this light is not nearly the same as when we first brought it here. My spirits aren’t coming back like something is hindering them. This light is forcefully doing something to our bodies.

Julius prepared his battle stance, sensing the incoming trouble as the light slowly glowed brighter, lighting the dark theater. As Julius delivered his words, some of the people were in fear of what was going to happen to them, while others held tight to their important loved ones and prepared themselves, steeling their resolves and determination to protect their loved ones.

While everyone’s body tensed up, Beatrice noticed something that widened her butterfly pupils into horror as she realized something horrible is happening to her body and connection to Subaru.

Beatrice: We need to get out of this light as soon as possible, this slowly breaks my contract with Subaru, in fact!

Beatrice was panicking as she continue to remove the light that would lose the connection to her beloved contractor but the light shines even further. She was desperate now to get out to this light that the Warden set up for, she tried all her might and any way to get out, but no matter how much she tried, she wasn’t able to. The idea of getting separated from Subaru was making her eyes cry in pain, she doesnt want to be alone again like how Ryuzu, Mother, Tosca and others left her. 

Beatrice: Let me out of this light, Betty will never leave Subaru, never, never, never! I won’t let this happen, no matter what it takes. Please, Betty doesn’t want to be alone again. Subaru promised me, he promise we will create our future together till the end.

She cried and shouted to all her might, her desperation and panic turn to despair as she wasn’t able to get rid of the light no matter how much mana she spent nor her 400 years of knowledge is used. Her chest was broken once again after her hands starts to lose touch to her beloved contractor, her eyes filled with lake of tears as she witnessed slowly detached to the world.

Emilia was stunned to the sudden events that was happening infront of her, it took a while before she noticed her skin glowing with a bright white light as her grip onto Subaru fades away

Emilia: Why is Subaru not glowing?, why can’t I hold into him?, is he going to stay in this place? No! no! no! WHY! WHY! WHY! WHY!!!

Emilia was shocked to the core seeing the light that would soon teleport them somewhere, knowing this light would do something dangerous. She saw the struggles of Beatrice and her tears is spilling out as she noticed she was slowly about to disappear. Her soul, heart and mind was shattered into pieces as sense of longing slowly creeps into her heart.    

Al: Shit, this is not good, I have a really bad feeling about this I need to stop this from happening.

Al tried to swallow the poisonous pill inside his molar in order to kill himself and restart in his last checkpoint, but his pill was suddenly gone, leaving one of his teeth with a hole marking that the pill had vanished. 

Al: Wha- 

Al was stunned at whatever was going to happen—the best-case scenario, they would be teleported back to their world, but the Warden didn’t even elaborate further; the possibility of going somewhere unknown is high.

His hand reaches out to his sword, but it suddenly vanishes. He reached his hands towards his neck to choke himself, but something protected his neck. His plans didnt work out, he twist his own neck but he was stopped by an invisible force, he reached out into his chest aiming to grab his heart but the force continued to hinder his plans. He continued to find ways to kill himself, but no matter how he tried, it was fruitless. 

A sudden idea flashes through his mind, he will have to find the Warden, since it was very clear it was watching from afar, and he was planning to confront it once and for all. His feet dashed out of the seats until his body refused to move, or rather, his body didn’t move.

Al: Ahhh, shit Im so cooked, I must be ready for what the Warden is going to do with us.

Al just accepted his fate and gave up thinking about how he is going out in this situation, his main priority now is to unveil what the Warden is thinking and protect Priscilla from possible dangers.

Priscilla was deeply angered by the Warden’s action, violating her body with no ounce of respect; it was far from acceptable; she would have to lop the Warden’s head and end this farce quickly.

She reached her hand for the Yang Sword, but it never showed up. She was fuming with anger until she took a closer look at everyone. She quietly observed everyone’s effect on the light shining on their bodies.

As she finished inspecting other people, she calmed down as she was trying to figure out what the Warden planned for them.

She reached out her fan from her chest and fanned herself to dry the cold sweat on her face. 

Priscilla: Even if I am sent away somewhere unknown, the world I will be with will bend unto my knees and punish the troublemakers for giving me inconvenience. 

She noticed that the light’s purpose wasn’t to go back to their original world, it is to separate them.

Priscila: Foolish commoners shan’t be able to understand the magnitude of this problem. Blinded by their emotions like the foolish knight, the world's mercy isn’t granted by those commoners.

She muttered those words as she calmly took her seat because no matter what’s in her way, she will fiercely scorch it into ashes.

Reinhard activated all of his Divine Protections and strength to remove the light in his body, but he felt that the Divine Protections weren’t working properly. He tried to suppress his emotions, but it was slowly leaking out after seeing his lady disappearing in front of him.

Reinhard: Felt-sama

He grabbed the hand of his lady to protect the possible dangers that might befall on them, he heard Felt’s squealing in pain by his grip, he was about to apologize but he realized his hand gripped in air as he was unable to hold his lady.

Reinhard: No, it can’t be

He was disturbed to see what’s in front of him, he felt despair in realization that they maybe separated together by the light.  His promise to protect his lady at all cost will be broken just like how he broke the relationship of his own family until he heard Felt’s voice.

Felt: Reinhard! your such a crybaby and a dumbass, did you think I might die because of this stupid ligh or I will leave you. This light is not going to harm me, it will just teleport me somewhere might back to our world or not.

Reinhard: Felt-sama, what if-

Felt: What if I went into another world or another place by this Warden, do you even trust me I will be just fine. I’m not a baby who is dependent by others, I lived in much worse than this, remember.

Felt reminded him about how she survive in the slums, she doesn’t want Reinhard to worry about her because he has already a lot in his mind. Panicking won’t do anything, she will have to accept this situation as she observed everyone flustered and panicking. She was thinking her next words for Reinhard needed to hear.

Felt: Even if I am far away from you, continue to believe in me, have that faith of yours be the guiding light and don’t cloud your eyes with worry. Im not going to bend by everyone or by obstacles from my way. I will destroy everything that stands along my way because I am your precious lady, Felt. 

Reinhard: Felt-sama

Felt: When we meet again, we will beat the shit out of this stupid Warden and destroy this damn theatre. Bring Big bro and everyone back in our world to get our happy endings

Reinhard: You are right Felt-sama, sorry for worrying too much

Felt: hmph, you are such a stupid knight, Reinhard but I give you points for following my advice

Reinhard: As expected from Felt-sama, you are slowly becoming more mature.

Felt: Shut up Rein

Julius: Anastasia-sama

He rushes towards his lady until he suddenly froze after she was slowly fading within the light.

Anastasia was heavily worried on what is going to happen to her, perhaps the deal wa sa trap all along and they fall to the sweet words from the Warden.

So yeah, this is my real first fanfic, the second one was the Re:Craft but I posted it as the first since this was unfinished. There are so many reasons it got unfinished, firstly is the length of the prologue like this is only fifty percent idk why the fuck I'm making a 30k prologue before the real story begin and literally spent months making this like idk I want to slap my old self for being stupid and a monster like I could not have the motivation in making this right now. It’s a wasted potential too because the plot is like the cast watches arc 5 the future then they are processing what they see then the Warden announces the payment to watch this which is doing the trials, they would experience Natsuki Subaru level trials where their hearts will shatter so many times and develop their character. 

Basically a character development farm fic, I imagine that Julius would be in Subaru’s body, Felt got eaten her name and re:forgor, Petra got sent in arc 9, Otto and Garfiel trying to stop Gluttonybaru and so much more but they can have RBD or a powerup that is op yet a curse. The cause of this was the witch of vainglory where the emotions of the cast got leaked and making her more overpowered so she took over the Theater imprisoning the Warden and have book of wisdom to replicate the events. Subaru on the other hand got separated by the others and he will try to defeat Pandora and freeing the Warden. The one favorite is mimi and the iron fang where anastasia name was forgotten they were enslaved and lost everything because they are in slothbaru timeline where natsuki subaru the hero was not there to save Priestella.  

Other than that I think it would be interesting if this would be added as an official fanfic but I wanted to see what I write like in january where my fanfic era was there. It could be adapted by others but they have to credit me to say the least. If i wanted to make a react fic, I basically planend everything from the start like Tappei god-level writing or something. Someday i would finish it however, I wanted to start from basics, because it will overwhelm me if I continue to write it all over again. Welp, this is the first day of the fic, idk what to say and my wish for this fic is to be improved if I mastered writing fics.

HOT TAKE: WHDAAA has a LOT of mischaracterizations that RUINED the story.

One of the reasons I became a Re:Zero fan is because of WHDAA, it made me see how good Subaru actions are if the character saw his story, this made me binge read it all night even I sacrifice sleep just to read the episode 15 reaction to the cast. Reading it first time was genuinely one of the reasons I became a Re:Zero fan and it was probably the start of my fanfic era. The fanfic has a good concept and good placement of the characters like making Subaru sleep so he wouldn’t get in the way to show the story. Re:Zero is a pretty good series to make a react fic because the characters doesn’t know the pain of Subaru and this would change their opinions a lot with so many potential conflicts. After a while, I began reading properly the Re:Zero chapters because before reading the fanfic I fake read it all the way to arc 9 (Worst decision ever make), which I can only retain 5% of the knowledge of the story at the time if you question me. 

This made me appreciate the Re:Zero Web Novel more and more and began to understand the characters a lot. Therefore, after completing the story I began reading the WHDAAA again but after rereading it something changed me.  I saw a lot of the comments or from the comment trailer of this fanfic saying this fanfic is pretty accurate to the characters like Tappei wrote it, I used to believe it until I compared the two stories, which I found out that the characters are entirely different to each other. I can't even call Emilia in the WHDAAA, I always call here "Emilia Poser" An entity that poses as Emilia but not acting Emilia, her character got ruined and so are others.

The characters of the story are heavily mischaracterized like Roswaal is very forgiving, Emilia is a crybaby, Priscilla is too interested to Subaru, Felt became like a kid, Crusch suddenly have feelings to Subaru etc. Some people including me justify this by saying that the characters act this way because of the things they see in Subaru's memories. But I disagree to the statement because I believe they will overcome their negative emotions no matter how things happen, watching him die is better than risking your life to an unwinnable opponent. Petra is the evidence even if she saw Subaru's memories in Arc 9, she still have a facade to stay strong and not being weak because she will disappoint her loved one. The thing that lacked in the story is the strength of their determination and how they overcome their conflicts, self doubts, and their negative emotions. Even if there was one, it wasn't properly executed, and they don't have a proper motivation to continue, it's a regression to the characters development that happened in the main story. 

The portrayal of the characters in this fanfic are very mentally weak compared to the main story which in arc 4 they are more stronger and capable after overcoming some big obstacles, even the creator acknowledge it’s overreactions. Some of the reactions are not right and there are times their actions are out of character like Frederica betraying Roswaal to serve for Anastasia planning his downfall, it’s not even in arc 4 where Roswaal’s crime is shown yet she already betrayed her loyalty. Making the Royal Candidate guilt-trip to their action is pretty wrong because clearly Subaru has the wrong mindset, and they have their own way to deal with things they desired. I was pretty mad when Crusch is ready to ive up her candidacy because she was too hurt, come on she doesn't even act that way thats too exagerrated. Don’t get me wrong there are other characters who are written well in the series like Rem, Beatrice and Felix. The only chapters that are peak are from the episode 1, episode 15 and episode 18 because the content itself was good. There are times it was getting too repetitive like you have to watch the screen to know, or questioning everything in everyway.

The personal conflicts are pretty aight but it’s not something very special as for the political involvement of things, it was a right decision but there are times it didn’t fit to the chapter. There are risky things that the story did like putting an explanation to Reinhard about how he followed Subaru in the slums and it was not a good payoff but there are times it worked like in Heinkel explaining that his wife condition was not Lye’s fault which is pretty impressive. These problems are usually found in the past chapters but now I saw it’s improvement to the latest chapter where it was more accurate than I expected but Mimi and others are too depressed, I expected her to be a little happier or stronger. Naoko and Kenichi’s involvement is not something I liked because their characters are vague and unclear because of limited content portraying their characters but their involvement would be like a plot device where the characters woud feel more guilty to their actions or mistakes they did. 

Even though I pointed my dislikes for this series, it doesn’t mean it’s a bad fanfic, it’s a million times better than other fanfics I saw and this a lot better than those gacha reaction on youtube. In fanfic no one can decide your story and fanfic is not a place where the characters are 100% accurate to the canon story or should be written well to enjoy. Personally, these problems are pretty much only my dislikes of the series and it’s not something you absolutely need to take seriously. This fic helped me to analyze the characters more carefully and find their similarities and differences which is pretty useful for me, I guess. Hopefully, the next chapter addresses this issue of mischaracterization of the characters and Heinkel is pretty much well written than 70% of the characters in the WHDAA. Arc 9 Phase 5 Review

Pretty much arc 9 is one of the most controversial arc in re:zero, like before the Great Reset people praising Tappei for his generational writing like Petra Leyte named chapter is one of the best re:zero chapters of all time. Even before that there was the Aldebaran named chapter which revealed so many things like his backstory, Echidna, a piece of 400 year old mystery, and even his name. The amount of the foreshadowing the arc had shown in the span of the chapters was probably One-piece level of foreshadowing and on par with the AOT. 

It was pretty much my top two arc of Re:Zero  I believe it can even beat arc 6 which some chapters went on par to Natsuki Subaru named chapter which is arguably the best chapter of Re:Zero.  Then chapter 58-60 was released, it quite literally made he fandom in the meltdown for a whole day like I saw twitter spoiling the chapter like it was literally displayed like its a very big news(which it i for Re:zero wn readers) like I wonder the anime only see twitter and got spoiled because of a Petra and Rem hater telling to kys. I saw Ice poat on twitter and he made a poll for the amount of people who agrees the Great Reset and shockingly 65% agree to it, it almost split the fandom well it’s kinda reasonable though.

At the time of the chapter being released I was waked up and activated all the neuron of my brain to immediately read the chapter, it was like 5am at the time running with 4 hrs of sleep and it filled my brain with Re:Zerolium. While reading, I felt sad for Petra because she sacrificed her memories just to save subaru which is symbolic because Rem did the same but unlike her, hers was more meaningful. Did not expect Reinhard to kill himself and his divine protection is insanely broken. 

I was wondering how he knew the location prob his divine protection of Felt glazer that can scan where Felt is everytime. Anyways, Reinhard tped to Felt and he saw her master becoming a freaking vegetable, I wonder how he felt, he probably been devastated and blaming himself for being too late but Felt reassures him to fight for her sake. The fanart that I saw is pretty good portraying this moment, I hope this is getting animated for like 30 years from now. 

Pretty much Aldebaran lost already once Reinhard show up and I wonder if he could still win like doing a door crossing but it would be too hard its like giving a normal person to control the spaceship. I wished for him to find a wah to win, I was wondering if he could one shot himself but the Od will still be maintained and Ferris could recover it healing him continuously. I change Felix opinion because like Heingoat, he is pretty much a counter to Subaru. The strongest femboy of history (Felix) vs the strongest femboy in today(Subaru).

Then the Reinhard reveal when he can sheathe the sword to Subaru, the fact he knew from the first arc telling me he had more info than before. The more the story progresses the more Arc 1 rating would go high, Tappei gatekeeping info to make it look like foreshadowing. My theory is that he is a stargazer and the antivirus of Od Lagna that protects his pookie world from dangerous threats thats why he getting glaze. Prob and maybe it was preparing for Subarus arrival or something more dangerous.

Rem and Petra have pretty good symboliam to each other like Petra killed subaru in indirect way like from arc 4 and Rem killed Subaruthe same way from arc 2. It was more sumbolic when you think they are Aldebaran’s mistake and salvation like he give the book to Petra to evade reinhard but it lead him to his downfall and evading Emilia he unleashed Rem which became the key to win against Aldebaran. 

Petra pretty much became Roswaal who sacrificed everything and Roswaal did the same only Petragoat won than Rosbum. The funny thing is Roswaal got defeated by Melancholy which it was his enemy while Petra become an ally to the Melancholy/Tristitia.

Now the Great Reset, At first I was in denial clearly going in stages of grief but it skipped to anger part because of chapter 60 which is a pretty good interlude chapter petragoat tricked Od Lagna so to pave way to grope Subaru’s ass in the bed. My opinion is mixed at first but shockingly I wasn't mad about it, I was rereading the chapter and it was actually a good way to end. 

My initial theory is that Petra sacrificed the right to be on Subaru's side once he was unsealed and isolate everyone forever but this was better than that ending. It was a good decision so that the readers can value the loop since it was the problem from the previous arcs because it started to lose the meaning of his returns which fixed the issue of his RBD. 

I like to think the arc 9 as a linear story where if Petra had lost Aldebaran would win and it changed me the view of the failed loops, My headcannon goes something that the Witch of tristitia Petra and others died in the failed timeline and it will be canon no matter what other say (cope) while it is sad it’s a necessary step to go forward.

What I was dissatisfied was the ending which it didn’t emphasize to Subaru  I wanted Subaru to know more about the failed loop but only the emotions which is pretty lacking. My theory is he knew that garfiel ram had atrong emotions but suddenly died, he had a idea that it was unsalvageable. I hope that it would be fixed in the latest arc like I wanted him to reveal about Rbd to Petra but it probably be revealed in later arcs. I can see Tappei sidestepping Petragoat so that Emidia get her own arc and he can goon to her waifu and writing rezero with only his one hand.

This chapter is pretty unpolished and have to type this on my phone with so many misspellings and bad grammar so forgive me. I wanted this to be an arc 9 analysis chapter but it instead became a personal review of the current phase, I don’t have time to analyze how many times Petra gooned to Subaru while on aggressor mode because it’s a week full of activities, A battle I must win reaching the realm of a billion. 

If the winter break would start I would try making more fanfics that is actually a story rather than this chapslop of words and random bs I made on the go. Kadomon Risch, is an appa seller in the stall that has nothing noteworthy and very ordinary that it is not worth remembering, 

Even though no one can remember, he will always continue to remember this stall for his burning wish.

A simple wish that every appa seller wanted to fulfill, a wish that is born from the desire born from continuously selling the appa and this wish is to become the greatest appa seller and sell every last appa in his stall.

Something blocked in his way, his sales are very low compared to an ordinary appa stall. Some say it was his bad luck, others say it was his scary face and his unappealing attitude but he did not realize it.

He blindly continues to follow his ambitions and find every way possible to sell his appa but the effort was all for naught, all he can pathtically sell is only 4 appas a day. 

He became frustrated, desperate and angry even though he poured all his time and effort it was all in vain. 

As the despair started to consumed him rotting away all his spirit, his vision started to drift away and his consciousness faded away. 

He woke up and his view changed, seeing the endless lush grass that ordinary people wanted to roll and rest with it but the wind blew, closing his eyes and turning away from the beautiful grass. 

Upon looking away a white haired woman seated at a white table drinking a cup of tea, her innate beauty can bewitch anyone and Kadomon was no exception. Even though he had a wife and a child, he had already abondoned all of it. His desire to see this girl 

He desperately took off a sprint running away the fastest he had in his life, he wanted to know everything. The grass, the woman and the wish he continued to desire.

Echidna: So this is the root of your desire.

The white haired witch smiled mischievously as if she had everything in control. Her long wished desire, and Kadomon’s desire will be all be fulfilled, together each other.

Waking up from the ethereal dream, his goal now is to save the witch from the 400 year old prison. Rushing away and packing his stuff he went outside the house at night, to fulfill his duty. As Kadomon went away to the door, he heard a sound of a girl’s voice that he was always familiar with. With a small and cute tone she whispered. 

Plum: Father, where are you going?

As Plum muttered her question while being half asleep, she voiced out her question. Usually, Kadomon would happily answer her daughters question as a normal father would but he was currently consumed by his greed and ambition, he answered in a cold harsh voice.

Kadomon: I’m going out, to get some more appas, I’ll be back soon.

Lying to the daughter he had was truly heartbreaking but fulfilling his role is more important than anything else after all…

Disappearing in the thin air, he vanished as he left an appa tree in the middle of the streets. The family did not know where he went or went missing as they continuosly looked all over the Capital for clues, yet it was all for nothing as months already passed by but the tree did not pass to the citizen’s eyes.

News across the Capital spread that there was a lone appa tree blocking away the city streets. People tried to cut it with brute force, uses different kinds of magic, or even with everything they got but the tree still yet remain standing. 

When Reinhard got into the scene, the people saw something truly shocking, the Dragon Sword Reid that is rumored to be only be sheated if the opponent was worthy was truly drawn. It shook the world and made the citizens frozen stiff to the raw unimaginable power. All of the people around the area concluded one thing, the lone appa tree was worthy to the legendary sword. 

The sword swung mightily finally cutting down the immovable tree that bothered the citizens. As Reinhard, unsheathes the sword he muttered.

Reinhard: The enemy of the world is somewhere around in Lugunica.

He walked away from the dead tree as he ignore the awestruck people. Looking to the moon, he whispered out his resolve.

Reinhard: I should immediately remove the cause of the world’s fear.

He made a vow to hunt down the person responsible for the person who will eventually end the world.

I started Re:Zero watching with my brother back in 2021, I saw it on Netflix and I was very curious and into anime at that time that any anime got recommended we would watch it. Re:Zero was the probably the first isekai we watched and as we watch it I could not comprehend the story, like I don’t even have the proper comprehension on what’s happening to Subaru all we know is that he had Return By Death and he is trying to accomplish things with his power. I did not even get scared watching it because I coudn’t understand the horror and my brain was skipping a lot of information. 

The things I remembered was the episode 15 with it’s brutality but other than that, I ignored all the information given. It’s literally like watching the story with the eyes half closed, my brother lost interest but I kept going until the second season, I was shocked to the rabbit death but if I watch Re:Zero with the eyes closed then it’s the same as the first season and as expected I only remembered the iconic scene but the one thing I was mostly interested was Roswaal knowing Subaru’s RBD, I was shocked that I have to show my brother with the scene and he didn’t watched season 2 so he couldn’t understand it. In that time I literally skipped the episode 18 because I used to hate long conversation, my shonen brain just kicked in. Then I watched the season with no comprehension and only interested to Subaru’s power.

2 years have passed and I saw a yt short of LN historian explaining the pride route, I actually thought it was the ending and shocked that Subaru died for real and when my classmate asked me the opinion of Re:Zero I was like the ending was ehhh Subaru actually died and everybody else died, so yeah the story is done I guess. Typical LN Historian misinfo (im joking I misunderstood the video so it was partly my fault)

Then my light novel journey kicks in in 2023 I wasted my summer reading Arifureta LN and the webnovel which is very edgy and thought it was peak, Hajime was my favourite at that time then I was presented with Mushoku Tensei which I thought Sylphy was the main and the plot is the mc got many jobs across the universe and the mc will do various stuff, (it literally listed jobless then I fking misunderstood it) anyway watched it but it was actually peak. 

I enjoyed the story and did not mind to sexual themes (apart from Rudy smelling Roxy panties as a ritual) so naturally I wanted to read the Light Novel and my god I was shocked to the story. Overall it changed me and became MT fan for 2 months since I finished reading MT next is COTE and I watched a yt short then saw a comparison video to MT and Rezero at that time I was happy MT winning but it got me wondering there is Rezero Light novel. 

So one random night, while eating I came across a full pride if route video, which I was shocked to the contents of the story (I achieved reading comprehension during Arifureta and MT). Watched other routes and liked the if routes so with the announcement of season 3, I wanted to rewatch Rezero again and this was my start of my Re:Zero.

Arneb's perspective on Subaru. My headcanon is she is being

chased by Subaru or more like the fear of death, then she kept

thinking the memories she remembered of constantly dying

like FOV on dying on stairs, getting eaten by the rabbits,

dying in gruesome ways. 

Im still a newbie at drawing, outlining this to Yuji manga because

I thought it would be fitting to their characters, like the parallels

of Subaru and Yuji are pretty good, like the confrontation of 

Yuji to Mahito and this one, Subaru, confronted Louis Arneb 

truly peak arc 6.

Also I would put my Arc 6 short thoughts because, ngl, when I got spoiled by Re:Zero historian it probably the start to my LN reading, so I'm thankful on being spoiled and reading this arc is absolutely peak also I was a fake reader at that time, which sucks but it is what it is. 

I want Re:Zero season 4 to animate this very wel and direct it, I pray shinohara will answer my prayers and Hamil to make him having so much aura. Imagine the people hating on Subaru to see a moment like this thinking damn I was wrong about him he cooking something. Guys, Arc 6 will not have 19 episodes trust my cope or even if it is it would be all extended (Another copium). My ideal pacing to s4 would be phase 1 4 episodes phase 2 3 episode phase 3 4 episode phase 4 3 episode and phase 5 would be 5 episode which phase 1 have 2 extended phase 2 have 1 phase 3 would be 2 phase four would be one and phase 5 would be 2.

When I watched the trailer I was skeptical because I wasn't used seeing Re:Zero getting animated, of course I need to rewatch because first time watching I was kinda meh ing the trailer, because I wanted to have it like JJK animation but direction is more important. Second rewatch I liked the cgi and the hand shown, ppl saying shinohara locking in but idk. I thought Pleaides had no sands underground and more like a stone circle didn't expect it to be large at the same time little. Shaula's voice is I actually liked compared to my imagination, I thought it would be sounded like Tio from Arifureta but with higher tone because it was hoarse like and rough but I was wrong it sounded like Aqua but not in a bad way but I quite liked it more. Shaula is such a goonable character, it obviously not gonna outrank Rem but who knows.

The green room was what I expected except for the stone part I thought it would be grassy and gardenish, but this was better than I thought. I wanted the reid's room to be white because it looks more clean but it was like a whole ass island like what the reid doin, probably a good decision so it can emphasize the trial room which it would be white and repeating it would be very redundant and boring. I thought Reid had a white flash on his head but it was just his eye flash lmao, Reid looks way cleaner than I though and had a very deep voice. I thought it would be very garfilish voice tone but it was aight the problem would be the character acting I hoped Rudeus gonna lock in beating Julius and have a very garfiel tone.

The cave scen was good but it lacked the atmosphere of dark and there are some good scenes like Subaru's desperation and his crashout, I wanted the face to be more rough so it can emphasize the atmosphere, I liked the blue thing its like watching a VHS tape horror thingy. I don't doubt the scene to be brutal because it was the same as the death in episode 2 which was wild even for me because the novel is very different, and it was a good change. I wanted Emilia to change her usua outfit but the gooners wanted to be like that so they can slurp emilias thighs. 

I hope the next trailer will show Beatrice crying, very emotional scenes and the trial room. If it released a movie to arc 6 I will buy a Subaru outfit and cosplay while watching the movie. This is my thoughts on my drawing and Re:Zero S4 trailer, I recently saw an ar6 react fic in spanish, I am going to read it and rate it some time. I'm currently very busy with my task because my group ain't helping, I gotta be Aldebaran to prove that I can reach the stars and slay fate on having me constrained. I wonder if ALdebaran knows coding, would he help me coding the freaking derivatives, it would be many attempts to master it and solo the program.

Emilia saw Subaru as a random stalker at first where she thought he was involved to her insignia, after fighting to Elsa she believed to Subaru’s words of genuinely helping her and she found it weird at first because she wasn't used to be treated in a weird way but it was the first time someone looked at her different from scorn due to the prejudice. She wanted to repay the boy who helped save her and since he was badly hurt, she found it guilty that she can’t repay the boy if she abandoned him so she decided to bring her to the mansion, to treat his injuries. She knew that Roswaal might be mad at her or Ram but she decided it to do so and even tried to plead with Beatrice so she can save Subaru because she still haven’t learned how to heal properly. 

Im going to continue to narrate for Emilia in other time because you can probably guess what she feel if you read the story and side stories but other characters have more interesting interactions to Subaru.

Anastasia Hoshin at first saw Subaru as a fool/idiot that dared to challenge a random knight infront of the whole kingdom just to protect the half-elf and declaring himself as a knight to her which is obviously a very stupid idea and it clearly made a mockery to the knights . It was hilarious and he was lucky he did not die or get assasinated by the knights, after all a useless person is useless and worthless but it is not useless unless she can get an opportunity to exploit the weakness of the Emilia camp through that boy as long as she can get her hands on him she can manipulate and get inside info about the half-elf but it did not go as expected. She was trying to ambush the boy to gather more information about the duchess and potentially fish out some juicy info but the fact that someone reached out to her knowing the location and time was suspicious maybe there was a spy to their mercenary group but she discarded that idea because they even haven’t met him and they have strong loyalty towards the company she had on her back. 

The random person that approached her said that Subaru was the one who called her for assisting the negotiations, her eyes sparkled in the moment of hearing the opportunity but she doubted her initial impression to Subaru maybe he was pretending to be a fool so to misguide that the half-elfs camp are in shambles. It was even more shocking that he manage to convince the duchess to fight the White Whale, which is more insane that what happened couple of days prior. How did he know that a White Whale is coming and he even deduced that they are fighting the White Whale, how does he get the information. Of course he explained it thoroughly but she knew there was more to it, what really happened during the 3 days after he got beaten thoroughly, how did this boy suddenly flip the tables and win to his side. 

His instincts and ways to convince the duchess are superb that he was like a different person from the days prior, she expected it to fail and she was going to pitch in to negotiate with Subaru but the fact he succeeded in convincing the Valkyrie which is notorious on having a hard time with the negotiation due to her Divine Protection. Succeeding in first try was like winning a lottery, and she was very interested to Subaru’s metia that can detect the location of the White Whale and the time of it’s arrival but since it was in the hands of Russel Fellow, she will try to get it one day if she can have an opportunity. Of course she probably underestimated the boy, he might be the one that can lead the half-elf’s camp and change the tide of the royal selection. She lended a helping hand with the duchess and half-elf becoming temporary allies, investing towards Subaru actions in case he actually succeeded so she won’t get behind. If they lose, she will only lose partially and she can get everything but it still a big lose if Ricardo was involved to the victims, if they won she can get credit together and be more forward than Priscilla or Felt.

Anastasia Hoshin perspective on Subaru will continue on some time…

Garfiel Tinsel saw Subaru as the most dangerous person during when he entered the Sanctuary, at first glance he seems like a normal boy who is innocent that you can assume he’s very harmless but there was more sinister to it that make his hairs all stand up. Sometimes when he looked into his eyes, it was very familiar and very eerie to say the least. It had the same eyes Roswaal had, the inhumanity, the looks that who knows everything and willing to do everything. It was the eyes who looks beyond the moment of the present, it was as if he saw a different perspective compared to a normal person, he was disconnected to the present and look forward to the future, he can be a person that even uses life just to achieve the goal they desired. 

He feared Subaru because those eyes that resembles similarly to Roswaal are the types who are the most dangerous, a threat that will eventually destroy them. He wanted to remove the sense of his discomfort but he kept it in because that would alert the people around him. A massive shock happened when he heard that the boy had miasma which after reading lots of books is a distinct that a member of the witch cult had. He will remove that boy one day but he needed to ensure that others inside are safe and also Ram who might be manipulated by Roswaal and Subaru.

His mind was hazy; he could not remember what happened or how he got into this situation. His consciousness was constantly fading away into the darkness. He swore he was familiar with this feeling, but he could not remember when he had experienced it. Usually, he feared the silence. His head felt like it was about to succumb to madness from the eerie quiet he felt at this moment, it was just like the sensory deprivation of Shamak.

He wanted to escape this hell he was trapped in. He was robbed from moving his limbs, his mouth, his body, or even his sense of control.

The only thing he had was the connection residing inside his soul, a warmth that kept him from going crazy in this eternal prison. It was the warmth of a connection to someone he had cherished ever since they made a pact that day. It was regrettable that he couldn’t recognise exactly who it was, but he hoped maybe one day he would, once he could see the light of day again.

Suddenly, interrupting the gentle warmth beside him, a fierce emotion pierced through are stronger than anything else he could feel at the moment. It wasn’t the gentle heat of love, but a powerful, volatile emotion. It was an emotion he had once experienced due to his own uselessness: this was wrath.

"WRAAAAAAAAAAH!"

He couldn’t identify who the voice belonged to, but he was momentarily scared and shaken. It felt as if the scream was pointing directly at him. The emotion screaming at his soul was yearning for a person who had been snatched away, a loss that was destroying everything. But gradually, the strong emotions fluctuated, drifting farther and farther away.

He felt sorry for the person he could not comfort because of his incompetence. Then, he saw a very faint light so faint that if he lost focus, he would lose his grasp on it entirely.

"It took quite a while to find this book."

He couldn’t fully understand the contents of what the person said, but there was a sense of irritation just as he accomplished a goal, the person’s tone suddenly shifted with a sense of dread.

"Oi, oi, oi, they are flooding this place. Tsk. What a troublesome bunch."

The faint light was near him, and he thought it was salvation, but as always, he was wrong. Over time, the rage coming from the other presence continued to rise, with darkness whirling from the source. He did not want that person to be wrapped in darkness. He knew it was his fault; he had unilaterally given that person the role of protecting others in case of danger. Was there a danger that caused them to become like this? He did not know.

"If ya can see the future, then how 'bout THIS!!!" the wrathful voice roared.

He felt a massive rumbling from outside, and he felt like he was floating away, caught in a massive flood. It was chaotic, a sensation he wouldn't want to feel ever again. He wanted it to stop it was starting to get annoying, but his irritation was cut short by the person's declaration.

"If we flood this place, ya are going to be cornered with no way out! HahahhHAHHA!"

After a while, he felt that they had stopped moving. The person wrapped in dark emotions seemed to feel a sense of pride at having cornered their target. They demanded the return of what was stolen from them, but he knew it wasn’t going to be easy. The perpetrator, the one keeping him moving, still had a trump card after all…

"Your stars were bad," A strong, resolute voice echoed across the place, finishing the hopes and overturning the battle completely.

This person had managed to remove him from the board, ensuring he was no longer part of the world. In the end, he lost the connection with the person who wanted to save him. He felt melancholic even though he couldn’t properly think; his soul felt heavy, as if he had been robbed of his salvation.

The negative feelings heightened as a new connection formed between two people. One held a strong love toward him, stronger than the person who had lost him earlier, and the other held a hatred more disguised than the rest. He wanted to apologize to them, for he was the reason for their massive pain and distress, but he couldn’t form proper words, only a clear feeling.

"I will never forgive you, no matter what."

The girl who held massive feelings toward him declared her hatred for the perpetrator. He felt that she was holding back tears, overwhelmed by a sense of powerlessness from the events that had unfolded. As her connection gradually faded into the distance, his soul said goodbye to the people who had tried everything but failed.

He closed his eyes, removing his current consciousness to mask his sadness, anger, regret, fear, and grief. He had to protect his soul from crumbling under the massive weight of his unforgivable sins. Only the eternal darkness and silence remained as the light and warmth dissipated, taking him along with them.

Beatrice saw Natsuki Subaru as a very annoying and an aggravating person. The first time they have meet he casually broke off one of the spells her Mother made in first try. She had wanted to let off her steam due to the recent events that is happening where Puck couldn’t play and have fun with her due to having tired after what happened in the Capital. She blamed all this misfortune because of the boy which wasn’t even interested to her knowledge after encountering the library, he genuinely wants to annoy her and his stupid nonsensical words always bothered her. At least she confirmed that he wasn’t a threat after looking up to his mana, but his scent was bothering, I suppose

She immediately kicked away the pest from her library so that the person who would come to her would terminate the contract she was entrusted in for 400 years. Some time later that person suddenly approached me in the library with no respect to my privacy and time like how did he find this library for the second time, I swear he keep getting flukes I suppose. Maybe I should move the library a bit sometime, as I was saying he suddenly told me me about the details of the curse, the topic is random but I’m still going to help anyway so to answer the pathetic person’s pleas.  

While he goes outside, I noticed his scent was much stronger than before, normally the one’s who hold with this much of a scent where the infamous witch cultists or the witches but the more she observed the more she couldn’t believe that he is a warlock or a witch cultist. There is a chance that he holds a witch factor, who did he kill to gain that power and why is he acting like he is a weak person, he couldve used his authority or maybe he couldn’t use it. It was a mystery she couldn’t solve but she didn’t ask any further because it was up to him on how to use that power as long as the library wasn’t involved.

He found me again, dammnit. I already moved the library so much but he keeps finding it, it really is not a fluke, either way lets see what he is asking now. He said he was cursed, it wasn’t even dy when he asked it- oh he really was cursed, how did he know, what’s his goal I suppose. It seems he have foreseen that there is a shaman he encountered, well they couldn’t harm the library either way and the curse was dispelled. Im going to look after him a bit to see what is going on. Maybe just maybe, he can be that person after all

His mind drifted endlessly, stuck in an eternal slumber. He tried to break away from the chains that bound his soul, but no matter how he struggled, he could not be liberated. What had he done to deserve such a fate? His heart trembled furiously at the unfairness of his situation. Attempting and accreting it all over and over again while continuously erring in vain, patching together his broken spirit that deserves retribution, mistaking it as a strength, deceiving only himself, whilst drowning in despair and desperation.

Yet, even that effort was for naught. The void around him continued to vibrate and shake as if the world were ending. He couldn't reach the ones he cherished as he could not indulge in those sweet feelings that were the source of his strength, purpose, and resolve. At the very least, the warmth of the soul beside him continued to beat strongly, as if that person’s love had never faded.

Despite being trapped in an unconscious state, that person still harbored a fierce determination. That strong resolve was something he was jealous of; if only he possessed that same strength, perhaps they both could have escaped this place sooner. However, due to his incompetence, he was unable to reciprocate that person’s feelings. The thought echoed across his world: he would continue to yearn for a person who could save him, obsess over him, protect him, care for him, possess him, indulge him, accompany him, love him, love him, love him, love him, lo—

"Right now, I’m reaaally angry, so I won’t be holding back even if it’s you, Al."

A silver bell reverberated across his entire soul, shattering the darkness. It carried countless fierce emotions, all embodying the person to whom he was most strongly connected. His floating consciousness violently awoke, washed over by a sense of familiarity and a multitude of emotions: certainty, doubt, and strongest of all—love.

Shame burned through him for momentarily forgetting the person who was his sole reason for living. He knew now. It was the person who first saved him in this world. The person he kept chasing. The person he yearned for with everything he had.

He could not form the proper words. His throat felt nonexistent, his tongue heavy with the weight of his own sloth. To be unable to call out to her was a sin he could barely comprehend. It was an unforgivable disrespect to her name, a failure of his devotion. But the self-flagellation would have to wait. The punishment for his silence could be served later.

For now, the deadlock was broken. She had arrived.

Chapter Text

Kadomon had trained everything before he went on the journey, after meeting the witch, gaining an opportunity to serve her, and sharing with him precious knowledge that even the wisest people had yearned to gain. Taking the contract with a condition to train his body with all his might to defeat a person the Witch wanted to get rid of. Chosen by her and having expectations laid on him, he would fulfill the Witch’s goals, and it would fulfill his burning desire as well.

Using the domain to temporarily connect to one of the places he needed to go, which is the Kremaldy Forest, envisioning in his mind the exact location, then making a checkpoint. The flag that is the symbol that he had essentially set his domain is the appa tree. He quickly takes a look at the surroundings to see if he is in the right place and assumes the attacks of nearby mabeasts around his area. After double-checking, he took a closer look at the appa tree that was in front of him.

Kadomon: I am shocked that this tree is more sturdy than I initially expected. Studying the structure of the appa tree seems to pay off in some way or another. 

He had heard of a theory where the structure of a tree or its cells inside was asymmetrical due to the tree learning to toughen itself up amidst the challenges. If the tree had a uniform structure, then it tended to break more easily, as the tree did not face many challenges to strengthen its inside. 

Kadomon: What kills you makes you stronger; the same goes for all people.

Everything in life can be described as a single appa tree, just as it forms a stronger structure, learning to become stronger after facing countless challenges, it was the same as him. To survive this hellish world, he has to adapt to the changes and become the strongest to reach supremacy over the people who did not buy his appa.

While gazing at the newly planted appa tree that was being illuminated by the moonlight, a hard, mushy footstep echoed across the forest while slowly approaching him, interrupting his peace.

???: Oi, oi, oi, wha’ the f’ck ya doin this place.

Growling while gnashing his pointed sharp rteeth, a yellow-haired boy with sharp jade eyes filled with killing intent faced off against him. Of course, many people would have already fainted due to the amount of pressure he was giving, but Kadomon isn’t a normal person anymore after being trained by the Witch herself countless times; this was nothing. Still undeterred, Kadomon waved his hands to the angry boy, who did not like his welcoming gesture.

Kadomon: Yo, tigerboy, I don’t want to make unnecessary fights. Can we talk this out? I just want to go to what you called the Trials or something.

???: Hah, what are ya planning to do with the Sanctuary HUH

Kadomon: Hey, hey ,hey acting tough while still being a kid is a sign of being a chuunibyou. I’m lucky that my daughter doesn’t have that.

He answered mockingly to the boy in front of him as the boy’s agitation continued to grow even more. The boy delivered his ultimatum and the final warning.

???: dunno know who the f’ck ya are or the f’ck ya saying. If ya don’t leave right now, my amazing self is going to crush that thick skull of yours.

The boy glared at him, waiting for his reply. Kadomon smirked to his absurdity after all he prioritized on letting the Witch go rather than care this pathetic boy. 

Kadomon: You're just all talk, quit putting on airs, boy, your stars today are hella bad.

That was the final straw, as the boy quickly prepared his fist and launched an attack, sprinting towards the enemy.  

Garfiel: WRAAAAHHHHH

The boy quickly turned into a large tiger that is capable enough to split a body in half with its swing. Sensing this sudden change, he adjusted his position and changed the contents of his domain. 

Kadomon: Redefine Matrix, territory expansion, mode:secondgear

The first gear of his domain was the ability to become part of the ground and find a suitable location to set another appa tree so he can physically get out. The second gear, on the other hand, was a trump card he newly made during the training arc. 

The battle of the beast vs. the appa had begun.
