“So, yeah, I came here to see the Kid.”
Din was hesitant, the flowers behind his back telling thought, the nervousness shining through.
“The Kid, huh?”
Luke smirked, seeing as this was the umpteenth time in a very short period of time the Mandalorian had visited the planet where him and Grogu were training.
No doubt Din missed Grogu, but yeah, the flowers and the shyness… dead giveaways for sure.
“Yes, I do miss him. A lot.”
“I can imagine.”
“Well, so, where is he?”
“Grogu will be here in a moment.”
“Oh-kay, so guess I just… wait.”
“Please, be my guest.”
“Thanks!” But Din only stood there.
“Those flowers, for Grogu too?”
“I… um… no?”
Luke smiled widely now. “Ask me.”
“Ask ya wot?”
“You want to have a date with me, don’t you.”
“I… yeah?”
“Okay.”
“It is?”
“Sure. Why not? I like you.”
“And I like you too.”
“Good.”
“It really is.”
“Thanks!”
“My pleasure, I am sure.”
“Oh, it will be.”
