Prolouge 1: New beginnings
On a pretty bright sunny day in late morning in august, its currently simple car drive to school—but, not just any school, a new school for Leo to enroll to after leaving his old school; graduating from early junior high school to grade level eight.
He looks by the window; a bit blinded by the sun's shine looking at the other people living their lives and some fascinating buildings, just personally for him—The sky was a light but a very clear blue, just like the ones in cartoons.
He changes his focus onto the windshield—He clenches his jacket due to the air-conditioner repeatedly hitting him; causing the uncomfortable chilly feeling—every strand of his thin body hair stood up, every time the cold air touches his fair skin.
The destination is getting closer—but the thought of getting into a new school, especially that you haven't visited yet; makes Leo get nervous every time he thinks of it—That means, new people to meet—He was a bit scared, He clutches his jacket, his cheeks quickly turned into a slight hue of red out of embarrassment—his lips closed and flattened, curling downwards a bit to the side, looking like a sad stray dog—except hes not really a stray, neither a dog too.
There it is, The car goes in the entrance of the new school—His heartbeat slowly raises, He's still unfamiliar; not yet used in this new school, especially he just recently transferred. He processes everything, still clutching his jacket. His dad, who's driving the car; tries his best to hype up his son—Leo nods and saying "mhm" with a smile on his face, but he looks to his car window; Its obvious that hes still tensed up. Lots of foreign faces—the thought of actually getting to know them and so many complicated stuff—so many negative thoughts and the fear of being lonely is consuming him.
Parking lot is found, The car stops and parks, Leo's dad tells him to get out of the car; and so he did, and also his dad. Leo takes off his jacket, and looks around his surroundings, He slowly calms down, and tells to himself that everything would be fine, even if it doesn't.. just figure it out later
..maybe?
His dad grabs his glasses from the car, "Tara na, Le", Leo follows him to somewhere. Leo observes the school as he walks with his dad, There are a couple of trees, Bushes full of flowers, Multiple rooms with multiple classrooms, And hot weather. He covers his eyes due to the sun's blazing light, blinding him every time he sees an object with a texture that reflects in some way. Overall, this building fascinated him—If he ever gets lonely, at least he can roam around peacefully like a Disney princess singing—He smirks at the thought of this.
The registrar is there, They both spot it—but, there's a long line for the registrar—although not too long but it still long to wait around 15 minutes. Leo's dad sits down at one of the chairs, offers Leo to come sit with him too, patting the nearby seat next to him. Leo sits down, He opens his phone to play games like Mobile Battle Legends. He plays it for 7 minutes before playing Mochi Cafe. Leo occasionally looks how the line is going right now, trying to be patient but he just wants to go home already and chill, making up time for the rest of his summer break.
Him and his father go near the registrar, to well.. obviously register into the school as an official student! His father states Leo's information. Leo's name; Leon Reyes P. Ceniza, His grade; Grade 8, His birth date; November 8 2012, *Insert home address, Phone number, Emergency Contact*, And his Guardian's Name (His dad); Micheal Robert P. Ceniza. This is supposed to fill out your identification card by the way, for your information.
As his father is registering Leo, Leo still looks around him, noticing the people around him and the line waiting behind him—getting a little bit bored over time,
Some stuff is shared to the registrar, and tuition fee is given to the registrar and payed. Now everything is already filled out and finished, Leo and His father go towards the car to go home—Leo looks around the surroundings once more, gives his one last look before opening the car door and going in before going home.
The car starts, Leo's eyelids kept closing but tried to open his eyes—He slowly looses control, no matter how much he tries to wake up. He relaxes his eyelids, shutting them down, and turns to auto mode—leaning his head at the back, loosing up, and getting comfortable and dozing off while the car faintly plays music while gliding off.
Leo's mouth drips down saliva, His dad notices at the car mirror infront and looks behind him, he chuckles, covering his mouth with a smile because of how silly it is, Leo hasn't even realize it yet, until he got home—He wiped his saliva using his clothes—he goes into his house, he greets his lovely mother and going into his room, immediately changed his shirt—and cleans his mouth with water.
