Work Text:
“Secret Santa is bullshit.”, Tim argued but Lucy wasn’t having any of it. “My god, stop being such a killjoy and just throw your name in the pot.”
Tim really didn’t know why exactly he was listening but one annoyed sigh later, he ripped off a piece of paper, carelessly scribbled his name on it and threw it into the bowl placed in front of Lieutenant Gray’s office before making his way towards the already bustling roll call room without granting Lucy another look.
If he would be honest with himself, he’d knew exactly why he gave in. Because Lucy insisted on him ‘trying out things’. Meaning he’s supposed to keep up with whatever corny Christmas traditions Lucy has in mind. Such as Secret Santa.
“I’m telling you, Secret Santa is a great opportunity for team building!”, Lucy rambled on while sitting down next to him. “And how exactly is snatching bits and pieces from the attic you haven’t looked at in ten years, five minutes before your shift productive for ‘team building’?”, he countered but was immediately met with Lucy’s infamous ‘Are you for real?’-stare.
“That is how you do Secret Santa??”
“I pled The Fifth.”
“You’re an idiot.”
