Ch 1 ig
The boiling isles, to put it simply, most housing was ruined and only took 3rd repairing priority after schools and markets. So the entire main cast that I made hcs for is at the owl house. Hexsquad is sharing 2 mattresses, lilith is on the couch, king is on luz’s mattress, eda and raine r sharing her nest (123 we want yuri) and darius has to go figure with a sleeping bag. Camila and Vee are in the human realm.
Luz managed to arrange monthly visits instead of weekly, and she doesn't have to stay in the human realm. Camila is a little upset but understands.
Vee visits luz in the demon realm quite often though. Luz is still depressed but refuses to stay in the human realm. Amity is understandably worried abt luz so is everyone else but amity moreso.
Eda has legally adopted luz, king,hunter, and the batts, the collector is wellll, being taken care of by everyone sorta, like when whole villages used to parent a kid. Raine co-parents them all, with no complaints, they see them as its kids too.
Raine and Eda are probably going to talk sooner rather than later abt what they are and what's gonna happen but there's currently better things to do. Like check on everybody.
Eda walks down the creaky ahh stairs. “Yall good down here? No bandages that need to be replaced immediately, or follow up pains, i would know abt the last on-” followed by raine “ are you already making jokes abt this!?” they sighed
“What can I say except ur welcommeee!” “But seriously, does anyone need anything?” She followed up.
“I could use a potion, or 2, tbh” hunter reluctantly replies eda immediately yells “gotcha! Catch!” “WELL I COULD USE SOME MORE BEAUTY SLEEP WHAT IS IT 5 AM” darius yells “darius, i “ hate” to say it but its 12:30 pm.” raine sarcastically replies “WHAT?” Darius yells. lillith is annoyed, “shut ur twink ahh up darius we all are tired too bad so sad”
“I would think yall still in highschool at this point, sybau” willow said groggily, slowly getting up, the rest of hexsquad nodded, getting up aswell. Luz expected chaos while sharing the owl house with 10 other people, but they also expected people to be too tired to argue after previous events. “Real” she said
“I expected y'all to be tired after these past months and beating belos but i guess tf not” luz followed up. Amity replied “so how did you beat belos anyway you've been ignoring the topic” “HAHA WHATS A BELOS EDA COME HERE IN THE OTHER ROOM FOR A SECOND HAHAHAHAHA” luz panickedly replied
Eda did.
“So are you gonna tell them you di-” eda began. “DONT SAY IT LIKE THAT!! OR THAT LOUD! I'm back and that's the important thing, but I do wanna tell them what happened. It's just confusing. I barely understood what happened” luz cut in. Eda replied “I would just tell them but im not exactly an expert in that.. Heh.”
“I will, ty” she responded
“OK, so” luz began “so?” willow prompted “this is gonna be a whole thing, dont cut in unless i pause” she started. “So.. belos possessed raine, manipulated the collector with them, then used them to possess the titan” they paused. A collective “WHAT.?!” was heard from everyone but eda,raine, king, the collector, and luz. “Afterwards, he succeeded in doing so and attacked the collector, i shielded him, and his moldy ahh moss got me, spread, and kinda maybe killed me” she trailed off. It was silent for about 30 seconds until the adults who didnt know this devolved into “when i catch him..” ’s and hexsquad crashed out especially amity, “YOU WHAT???” she said.
“But then i woke up in the inbetween realm from my portal trips and met the titan, kings dad, he used the last of his powers to revive me with them, i looked so cool, amity would have fainted too” she skimps over the death bit, moving on. Amity also had a bloody nose just thinking about it but she was still concerned abt luz. “I kicked belos butt and used boiling rain ™ to turn him back to goop, eda, raine, and king stomped him out of existence” “FREAKING FINALLY” hunter yelled, the others nodded “ he deserved it” willow chimed in.
“I turned back to my normal form, and the titan is now permanently dead now unfortunately” king only looks mildly upset, his dad loved him. The others thought the titan was dead the entire time before this, so they arent upset either. Lilith is a little upset she couldnt study him but doesnt care. “So yeah, i have nothing more to say” luz finishes. “Any questions?” “raine got possessed too?” hunter says. “Um yeah..” it replies. “Did he also grow out your hair?” he says.
“PFFTTTT WAIT WAIT HE GREW UR HAIR OUT TOO? NO WAY” they burst into laughter. Hunter replies “HE DID IT THE NIGHT I CUT IT TOO VRO”
“Should we stop this” luz began. “No this is how they cope its breakfast time anyway” eda said.
“What food do we even have?? We JUST got our furniture back from the shambles of the emperors coven.” lilith whined. “We go steal some?? Or cook??? Hey OG goops is abomination goo edible? Id rather not cook” eda said. Darius replied “first of all, goops was bad enough, having given the nickname to a 2nd person is insane. AND on top of that you already know its not. Youve already tried it.”
“Hey if goops is his nickname, and it suits him more bcz he mainly does abominations which is goop, and i do illusions, CAN YOU PLEASE JUST CALL ME BY MY NAME” gus bargained. Eda chuckled “no can do goops pt 2, electric boogaloo”. Gus just accepted his fate with a sigh. “So, who wants to go to the market???” luz said “fine but every adult is paying for themselves, the batts are paying for themselves too” eda insisted “but eeddddaaaaa-” amber began “ try that on raine kid theyll fold i wont” eda sighed “to the market yall, try to keep up”
They walked outside, eda switched owlbert to a staff, gestured for raine to sit with her, yelled C'mon, and went up. Everyone else followed suit as they flew to the market. Also looking at how destroyed the boiling isles had gotten. “Raine honestly i doubt there's gonna even be a market atp but..” eda muttered, trailing off. “Everyones gotta eat, it'll still be here” raine responded. They all arrived at the market. The citizens could do this themselves, no permit needed, so everything here went back to normal.
They walked over to a stand, eda, instead of stealing like usual, felt bad and actually paid for once. They flew back home. Its now breakfast time. Breakfast, to put it simply, was pure chaos. King decided to steal all the spoons from everyone so they all had to eat with a fork. Hooty was flooding his cereal in a mountain of sugar. And the adults were bickering, and that made the kids start bickering with them about bickering.
“Why are you like ts darius” raine said. “Im not a twink?? Let me be a germophobe in peace” darius yelled. Lilith cut in “they didnt even say twink?? And with me around its gonna be pieces not peace”. “Can you guys PLEASE just sybau yall not 14 anymore WE ARE and we did more, and we’re doing less complaining than all yall.” amity said. “Yeah, eda drink ur apple blood, lilith, drink some coffee, raine, ur fine , and darius go back to sleep or take a chill pill.” luz was done with them. Hunter added on “As ur adopted son i hate to say this but darius you are tweaking”. “Why do I try with yall??” Darius said.
“Ts is why I stole yalls spoons!!” king declared. “Yeah and now we have to eat CEREAL with FORKS!!” Gus said. Willow just uses her vines to give everyone's spoons back. luz snickers. “Luz!! I spared you!! I let you keep your spoon!! DO SOMETHING!!! Why have you forsaken mee!!!!”king has been betrayed. “I cant help you buddy..” luz decided. King will remember that.
