"Are you there?"
"Are we connected?"
"Excellent,"
"Truly excellent."
"We may begin"
I cannot tell who is speaking, nor do I even know if I am truly hearing..
"First. You must create a vessel"...
"Pick the body you prefer"
I am not sure what it could mean. Is it speaking to me? Or another I cannot see..
"What you've named emerged. A body and mind"
A body and mind? What could that mean? Slowly I feel as though I have gained power? No..choice? Control?
No....
"Thank you. For your time. Your answers."
Life.
"Your, wonderful creation..."
Or so I thought.
"Will now be discarded."
I begin to feel my body fall from where it was floating...as floating is the only thing I can think to describe it as.....the last thing I hear is-
"No one can choose who they are in this world."

I feel my landing. A hard thud against something wet and hard..yet soft....I'm not sure what it is..I cannot see. But I feel things hitting my skin softly.
I cannot move.
And yet I feel...I..breathe...yet I feel?
I feel my soul pulsing slowly in my chest. It's weak...I'm weak...
Though I breathe, hear, and feel...am I truly alive?
Who am I?
What am I?
"Wanna head to the lake? Nothin' much we can do." I hear a voice speak roughly, the sound of harsh thuds following. Along with the voice I hear footsteps to accompany it, much lighter than whoever is speaking.
Somehow I gather the strength to open my eyes slightly seeing what I can only assume is a purple lizard and a human.
Watching them approach my weak form. My eyes begin to shut once more, overhearing one last thing before I've passed out.
"What the hell is that?"
