Chapter Text
Joong's hand was warm in Dunk's, stuffed in Joong's coat pocket as they waited for their cue, the crew bustling around them.
It was a welcome reprieve from the chill, winter making itself known in the low temperatures and the glittering Christmas lights of every mall display. Shooting overseas, while scenic, meant packing light, minimum equipment, and a mournful goodbye to any plans of cuddling between takes. A particularly strong gust of wind had Dunk pressing himself closer against Joong's side, head tilted down to avoid the sting of it against his cheeks.
"Cold?" Joong asked softly, gently squeezing their interlocked fingers as Dunk drew light circles over Joong's skin with his thumb. Dunk shook his head, the corners of his mouth ticking up as Joong pressed a kiss to his cheek. He lifted his eyes to Joong's face, gaze flitting from dark circles to flushed cheeks in concern. Joong smiled then, a bright thing that lit up the space, pulling Dunk into a tight hug that felt like home and whispered reassurance.
Joong was warm, just like the sun. Steady, just like the ocean waves.
And Dunk couldn't help but love him, just like the earth loved the rain.
