A thin line of blood bloomed across Phainon’s cheek. Even though Mydei had pulled back in time, the strike had still caught him. Phainon blinked once,then his sword sinking point into the ground. “You spaced out,” Mydei said, arms crossed,also looking down at him.“Is there anything wrong?”
Phainon tried to smile.“My bad.”
Phainon signed softly, then he lay down on the ground ,covering his face with his hands.Mydei thinked for a few seconds, then he sat beside Phainon.
''So..anything happened? ''Mydei asked.He is not that type of person who is proficient in comforting others.
Mydei gazes at him with a light depression.
"I never seen you cry before,"Mydei said, staring at him with inquiring eyes,"This is the first time."
it's actually not a cry-cry,but to Phainon ,our saviour of the Amphoreus,it can be counted as a cry.
Phainon just blinked and hummed vaguely, something between a sigh and a whine.
Mydei looked away,refusing to meet his puppy eyes.
It's quite interesting to say something about Phainon's blue eyes.Mydei have heard trailblazers talking about the sky in the other world and have also heard about Hysilen's sea.But he has never seen any of them before.
"I didn't ," phainon raised his head from his arms, saying ,"I didn't cry."
Under Mydeis's "what are you even talking about" stare,he shrank his neck a little and finally admitted.
"Okay,fine.I'm just..."he paused ,"a bit depressed."
"It is not crying,I didn't cry,"he repeated.
Mydei laughed slightly ,he stood up and got him a cup of water.If you wonder where does the cup come from...that doesn't really matter, does it?
"Just water, Mydeimos?"Phainon took a sip.
Mydei signed,sat beside him again.
"What do you want,Phainon." He asked in a low voice,"You don't feel right today,huh?"
Phainon stopped talking.
After a while,he said:"No,that's not the point...I mean,"Phainon raised his head,finally moving his attention away from the cup (just to say, Mydei has the same cup at his home).
"I mean,you are my lover right? But I can't feel anything."Phainon paused, "I'm not blaming you...It's not a problem."
He put down the cup and opened his arms,said pitifully:"At least give me a hug,would you?"
''Of course I can give you as much hug as you want.''Mydei said,and hugged Phainon,but he didn't stop the words,''I don't often say this...Phainon, I'm worried about you.''
Mydei is speaking in a low speed, ''Last week, when you are saving a girl outside of Okhema from the black tide, you hurt your arm.''
''But you didn't tell anyone,not even me.You didn't even go to Hyasine."

Phainon keeped silent,he can't even look straight into Mydeis eyes.He pursed his lip tightly, accepting all accusations in silence.

Phainon’s eyes wavered, a clear flicker of guilt going through him.
He let out a dry, awkward little laugh, then slid his arms around Mydei’s waist in a placating embrace, burying his face against Mydei’s chest as he secretly tugged his sleeve down to hide the scar.He speaks softly:"Come on Mydeimos...Mydei,just forgive me,I won't do that again."
Phainon lifted his head to look up at Mydei, blue eyes flickering with a restless shine.
For reasons he couldn’t explain, he asked,"Can we have sex?"
There has been a big fear among him,like...something would happen.The only peace will be broken into pieces,people will die,the whole world will fall like leaves.
"Please."He said.He knows it has been such an awkward and stressful request.So immediately he said:"Nevermind,I am probably a bit weird today."
Mydei gaze at him,long and silence.It was a long time before one of them spoke,and finally, Mydei said, "Alright,we'll fuck."

They still have countless responsibilities to bear,any of them is enough to shut down this farce and shatter this dream,pull them back to reality.Mydei have thousands of excuses to refuse Phainon's request.

This is a dream. Phainon knew it with absolute clarity—it was a dream, totally.
Since leaving, he had never again seen wheat fields so vast, nor breathed air so rich with the mingled scents of ripe grain and home-cooked meals.
He heard someone calling to him, “Dinner’s ready!”
When he turned around and saw his parents, his eyes stung with sudden heat.
Phainon moved a step to them without control, than he stopped.

Phainon smiled ,he said:"I had a good dream."
