Aziraphale was busy in the kitchen making some breakfast.
True, it was usually him eating the food, alas, sometimes, being able to tempt Crowley into tasting some of his cooking.
And today, the Angel hoped to do just that. With pancakes.
Alas, burning the first batch was not a good start.
Then the second got flushed down the drain by accident.
The third… well, Aziraphale was out of ingredients by now.
Sliding down on the floor, crying.
It was there were Crowley found him.
“Hey there luv, wassa matter then?”
“Pancakes.” Was all the Angel managed.
“Pancakes?”
Crowley glancing around, immediately seeing the crime scene and deducing what had happened.
“Is okay.” He sat down beside his Angel. “If you want pancakes, I can miracle you some.”
“No, I mean yes please…” Aziraphale sniffled. “But I wanted to surprise you.”
“Oh, luv. Is okay. You’re the best surprise I can get.”
“Really?”
“Yes, my sweet Angel.”
Crowley kissed his Angel, the pancakes soon but forgotten.
