Kat was looking at the clock Elliot found in the wall. Closer inspection she found a note:
For Landry hands make demands. Three wishes will come true through time, be careful what you wish for, it will define.
Kat thought what did she have to lose, so out loud she said I wish I could have a do over with Thomas. I regret how I treated him. I wish somehow, Thomas and Susanna can come to the present. I wish I could reverse my father’s accident and he was still alive. Kat sat the clock back on the mantle, suddenly the last twenty five years flashed through her mind. She needed sleep.
Kat woke up late the next morning, in the only guest room in the house. Her room, now. She went downstairs to find her family, her whole family sitting at the table. Her mom, Alice, Jacob and her father, plus Thomas and Susanna. Had her wishes come true? Kat shook her head back and forth and pinched herself to make sure she wasn’t dreaming.
“Good Morning, Sleepy head.” Colton said. “Why didn’t someone wake me?” “You were exhausted and needed the extra sleep, Thomas said, walking over to her and pulled her into a kiss.” Kat didn’t know what was going on, but she was happy everyone was there. After Kat finished her breakfast, She found her father working in the barn. “ Dad, what’s going on? I found a note on the clock that Elliot found in the wall. I made a wish. I woke up this morning, and it’s come true. The pond. Kat told Colton everything. “That must have been some dream.” “So the pond is just a pond?” “One morning, when Jacob was little, just as your mother and I were waking up, he came into our room to show us a diagram of the farm he drew. The pond was on it. He said he planned to turn it into a fishing hole. He did.” “So Thomas and Susanna?” Susanna grew up a few towns over. She was raised by a maternal aunt. Victor said he had no use for raising a girl, so he gave her up. Are you alright?” “I honestly don’t know. Have I gone crazy? “I don’t think so. I think you had a very vivid dream, that you’re not sure if it all happened or not.” “I’m glad Jacob never actually went missing and I’m glad you didn’t die.” Kat hugged Colton. Then Colton finished explaining things. “You know about Elijah and Fern because you've heard me mention them. You’ve seen pictures of Fern, so you know what she looked like. As for Elijah, I believe the way you saw him is what he looked like to you.” “I know I married and divorced Brady. I know I had Alice. I know Alice and I moved back here. The rest, I’m not sure about.” “Well, Elliot married Emma. Remember her?” “Yes.” “They both have teaching positions in St. John, so they moved there. Victor retired to Mexico, so Susanna bought the Augustine house.” “And Thomas?” “He owns a winery and pub. You met him when you, Monica and Susanna went there for a girls day out. Talk to him. Tell him everything. Then he can give you more details. He’s one of Evelyn’s sons. After Evelyn’s divorce, she kept Lewis, who went to boarding schools in Europe. Her ex-husband had custody of Thomas. As for the third one, he was given up for adoption. He was just a baby when it all happened. Evelyn was against it, but her ex-husband somehow managed to convince her it was for the best. That baby is Nick." Kat couldn’t believe it. "Nick is a Goodwin?" "Yes. Since Evelyn’s ex-husband signed a prenuptial agreement, when he married Evelyn, he didn’t get much in the divorce. The Goodwins are still rich, but their wealth had decreased over the years. Evelyn’s parents didn’t lose everything, like your mother’s parents did, but they also made a few financial mistakes. However, they managed to keep a majority of their wealth. Evelyn’s ex-husband spent a lot of money while they were married. He paid her back, because when they divorced, she demanded child support for Lewis and won.” Kat went to the barn loft. She needed to process everything her father had just told her. Kat took a deep breath, then went to find Thomas.
He was in the fields, helping Jacob fix the tractor. “I had the weirdest dream about our pond and time traveling. I would love to tell you about it.” “She told Thomas everything. “Wow. That would make a good book series. Seriously, though are you alright? “I hope so. This is going to sound crazy, but can you tell me about the day we met?” “I didn’t just want to own and manage my business. I also wanted to do the work, so I was taking orders and serving. You were there with your friends, I thought you were beautiful. You saw a couple of teenaged boys about Alice’s age there and called me out for not making them leave because they were underage.” “I told you I keep non-alcoholic beverages on hand, like grape juice and sparkling cider and if anyone underage wanted a “real” drink, well there are non-alcoholic versions as well as The Shirley Temple or Roy Rogers.” I know how important it is for some teenaged boys to impress their friends or their dates. So, as long as they bring money or a credit card, I don’t make them leave. They often don’t realize that I’m not actually serving them alcohol.” “That’s risky.” “Yes, but you know me. I love a challenge. Your drink was on the house that day. Your friend, Monica seemed to notice that I liked you, so she slipped me your number. I didn’t give up. Took me two weeks to get you to agree to a date.” “Well, I’m glad I finally did. It’s all coming back to me, now.” Thomas wrapped his arms around Kat and kissed her. Kat recalled her wedding to Thomas and Jacob and Susanna’s wedding, shortly after. She kissed him and they walked hand in hand into the farmhouse.

Epilogue:
It was discovered that Rick had gotten a girl pregnant before he died. His parents paid money to keep it quiet and not ruin their golden boy’s reputation. Rick's grandson, Jason married Alice. Alice had a daughter. She named her Katherine Delilah Augustine. They called her Kate. Alice and Max remained good friends. Kate married Max’s son, Austin. Austin and Kate had a child. That child is KC.
