Work Text:
Shadow Milk and his friends, the beasts, come to school except Silent Salt.
Eternal and clingy to him, she steals 70% of his attention all the time, along with Mystic Flour.
Burning Spice just intends he doesn't come with them, as she always does when she feels "excluded," even though they invited her to go with them and hang out.
At recess, Burning Spice decides to talk to Shadow Milk, who becomes extremely nervous and scared, thinking the worst, and he was RIGHT.
At recess, Burning Spice goes to talk to him, and the words come out harsh like a knife.
"Shadow Milk, you know I like you guys a lot, but I feel excluded, replaced. You know, you're acting like Silent Salt this way, thinking only about yourself."
Before that Burning spice could end, he held on to a pillar, felt his legs weakening.
"I was thinking about whether I should really say that because I don't want to ruin our friendship, but now I feel the same way ####### ###### felt."
When he finished saying that, he left, and Shadow Milk went to the bathroom. He went into the disabled bathroom and entered, with his boyfriend's watch on his wrist. There were about 10 minutes left until recess ended.
He locked the door and sat there, thinking. He wanted to cry, but he couldn't, and his makeup wouldn't allow it.
Then, he did something somewhat impulsively. He dug his nails into his left arm. First, it turned red, then it scratched, but its strength wasn't enough to finish it. He stayed there, listening to Eternal Sugar, Mystic Flour, and Golden Cheese, searching for them. At one point, his mind just went blank, and then he started to unravel some kind of "cable" there, stopping halfway, scared by what he had thought of doing. But those words, burning spice, kept circling in his head. "You're acting like Silent Salt." Everything was on his head. When the bell rang, he was the first to arrive in the classroom. Mystic was the first to arrive; when she saw him, she smiled in relief for a second before turning angry. "YOU LEFT US ALONE! Everyone is worried about you! And you were already here in the classroom." That only hurt even more, but he smiled and pretended it was a joke as always. "I wasn't here, Mystic!" "Yeah, right." That hurt more than he imagined, while he tried to hide his scratched arm because he was wearing a sleeveless shirt. The second to arrive was Eternal, right behind Burning Spice. Eternal spoke about how worried she was and everything else, but Milk's mind was so blurry. But when Burning spoke to him, it seemed like... She had had that conversation a short time ago. "MILKY! You're killing us, don't do that again." After long minutes there, the coordinator called him to leave because he had an appointment with his psychologist and his first professional song was ready. He packed his things and went home, arriving there and taking a shower that was painful, and in that shower, he returned to an old habit: filling a small jar and putting his face in it until he couldn't breathe anymore. When he finished, his mind was blurred, and in the end he left home uselessly because his mother had looked at the wrong dates. The return home was hazy. When he arrived, a friend called him to hang out on the street, he accepted very reluctantly, and when he was there, he found Burning Spice there, which was quite painful. Burning Spice called him to go to his grandfather's house to help him with some things, which he unfortunately accepted. Every second that passed was horrible, I wanted to die every second. When he got home he drowned himself in music and his cell phone.
