Work Text:

Right at 12 AM, a loud boom shuddered throughout the pizzeria as the lights shut off. No one opened the door for another 6 hours, as the manager of the place wasn't able to find a willing employee to work the night shift just yet.
The animatronics were alone.
Chica hopped off the main stage almost immediately, excited to get digging in the kitchen. Bonnie and Freddy were left alone together, wondering what to do.
That's when they heard a wailing coming from Foxy’s Cove.
Bonnie got over there the fastest and stopped just outside, tempted to pull back the curtain but knowing he should leave it be for now.
“Foxy?” He asked, worried. A loud clang sounded from behind the curtain.
“Er, Bonnie, mate, may not be ah good time!” Foxy called.
Bonnie grimaced. “Foxy, what do you mean? Are you okay? I’m coming in.”
Before the hidden animatronic could answer, Bonnie pushed the curtain aside and saw Foxy.
He was on the ground, holding his hook in one hand. Large tears welled up in his eyes. It had been detached.
Bonnie tilted his head. Freddy had eventually made his way over and looked confused. “Why is your hook off, Foxy?” He asked.
Foxy blubbered and sobbed. “Th- the mean people took it off an’ tried ta h-hide it from me!” He exclaimed. His face turned from despair to anger. “Ah foun’ it… they’ll know ta never hide it f-from me again.” He clenched his beloved object, staring off into the darkness of the pizzaria, eyebrows furrowed.
Bonnie and Freddy glanced at each other. They were worried about their friend's threat, but more about his wellbeing.
Sitting down next to Foxy, Freddy started to calm him down, asking him to name all the colors he could see. Bonnie went off to the main stage and pulled off a panel on the side that was loose. A small tub with leftover pacifiers and teethers (all cleaned thoroughly, of course) for children was hidden there. Bonnie picked a pacifier for Foxy. Hopefully this’ll help regulate his breathing.
