A few months of settling on the planet Cardassia felt like an eternity for Bashir, having to get used to.. as in matter of fact everything, environments.. accommodations.. etc.. what an utterly tiresome change.

But then he knew he wouldn't have accepted the offer to aid the unfortunate victims of the terrorism taking place on Cardassia- if Garak didn't somehow wouldn't be able to tag alongside him for the duration of their time on the planet- which Garak did of course. somehow..
what? Why are you looking at me like that? Jesus Anyway.
The two arrived on the planet taking in a much-needed inhale of fresh natural air as the summer wind breezed on them and Julian exhaled with whatever energy he had left in himself.

(Ugh dialogue)

"Isn't the sky 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 breath-taking?" Bashir exclaimed softly before glancing at the silent lizard man longingly staring at the sky next to him furrowing his brows and inquiring worriedly.

"Garak? Is something upsetting you?"

"No.. not quite, it's.. I haven't seen this sunset for quite some time since-"

Garak shakes his head lightly to force his eyes astray from the view before clearing his voice and insisting the sluggish chief medical officer next to him to continue walking on to their new home, then catching up with their literary talks and their conflicting perspectives of some random novel, some may speculate that with the amount of bickering shown in their average day-to-day convos that they were ensured to be life long rivals.

But you couldn't be any more wrong.
