What a horrible death this will be.
The anticipation that they have been accumulating for decades has come into fruition, hosting a horrendous show starring the embodiments of life and death, an audience of none but themselves.
One's body showed changes in walking through the passages of time, however, for his lover, he had become an unmovable stone that not even the river of time could sweep with its strongest waves.
Whichever god gave him this immortal blood and witness the deaths of the mortal world, he'd wish to bring forth an even greater agony to this god out of revenge.
However, Yuder forbade him from doing that.

The two remain silent in the room for who knows how long. In this cold Peletta castle, only the fireplace glowing a multitude of colors kept them warm, still, Kishiar's skin felt cold just staring at Yuder's state.
Kishiar could do nothing to help, he can only watch in agony as his lover withers away with such a peaceful face.
What a peaceful death.
"Yuder Aile has been pronounced dead!"
The news spread all across the Orr Empire like wildfire, but for Kishiar, time enveloped itself in a cold ice winter. On the day of Kishiar's birth, he had truly felt the misfortune of having death by his side. But on the day of Yuder's death, he had truly felt the misfortune of having life by his side.
Kishiar's guilt and regret tore him to shreds once more, how was knowing you will live forever any different to knowing when you will die?
Unlike Kishiar's younger self who had a strong desire to constantly go outside of the palace walls, he had the strong desire to remain cooped up in his palace walls instead. However, for a promise he had made to himself, Kishiar hosted the grandest funerary day for Yuder.
Chaos ensued in the political sphere due to this, hosting a funeral as grand as an Emperor's funeral, it was a diabolical move that Kishiar could care less about because of the chaos that had raptured his life.
Insomnia, nightmares, hallucinations, fatigue, appetite loss, shortness of breath, confusion and guilt that followed him like a shadow. It eventually got to a point where his attendants and his adjudant had to temporarily handle the Peletta Castle and Cavalry respectively to give him more time in mourning.
But Kishiar has long forgotten the concept of time, and when finally he had the courage to visit Yuder's grave, there were no longer any visitors and the gravestone had accumulated a small amount of dust.
A man attuned to nature is now one with nature.
For the hero of Orr, nature's reward was an honorary death not by blood but by peace. But for Kishiar, the man who stayed by his side, saw nature's reward of immortality to him as a curse instead.
Watching all those around you die one by one, it was an indescribable torture. Kishiar does not want Yuder to suffer in a similar manner, thus, Kishiar shall embrace this immortality even if it means he will never meet another lover in this eternal lifetime, for he will devout an eternal love only to Yuder.
What a beautiful death.
