Max found Midas outside The Agency, she was finally going to say what she needed to ask him ever since the flock finally defeated Chaos Agent for good
"why did you work for Them,how could you do this to me,I trusted you" said Max
"Max I've told you this before,I accidentally turned my daughter Jules to gold,I met Chaos Agent and told him my problem,he introduced me to Jeb Batchelder and Valencia Martinez who agreed to help build The Device under the guise of it being an electromagnetic node capable of pulling all the space junk orbiting the planet" said Midas
"bossman,Jeb tried to KILL US multiple times" said Max
"Jeb was only trying to stall y'all so I can finish the blueprints" said Midas
"I can't seem to process this" said Max
"the day arrived when Chaos Agent finally activated The Device, finally I was going to have Jules back, unfortunately I saw Chaos Agent advancing towards you so I had to intervene" said Midas
Midas led Max to a room in The Agency she never saw before, in the room was a gold statue of a young woman
"this is my daughter,Jules,I love her more then anything,Max what I am saying is the truth" said Midas
"sorry bossman I can't trust you, I've had Erasers, Horsemen, Henchmen,and mutants all trying to kill me and why, because you just want your daughter back, I'm sorry but I can't trust you anymore, I've already made a mistake trusting someone once" said Max referring to Jeb
Midas looked hurt,Max just unfurled her wings and flew off crying
