Chapter Text

As she awoke her eyes squinted through the bright light of the jungle. Although they were partly shaded by her pink hair, Lizzie's periwinkle eyes still struggled to cope with the stark contrast to the dark she had grown accustomed to. She didn't remember anything let alone why she was in the jungle.

She looked around at where she laid. She was on a log that was a chair along with other people. They were in a circle around a campfire. She did recognize someone though: it was her friend Joel

A man would later introduce himself as fwhip and explained that this server was one with different empires and they would each be in charge of a biome or area. Immediately, Lizzie heard the ocean in her ears and felt an ache for the blue waters. She spoke to her friend and while he wasn't sure he said something about going near where she went.

As the strangers departed,Lizzie made a beeline for the salt air. The grass under her feet felt…wrong. Almost ik she wasn't supposed to be there. She felt congested with her breathing and her skin felt..dry,almost like she needed the water to sustain her.

On her way towards the ocean, she realised she had no clue where it was but was being pulled by a rope- as if she were a marionette doll. A bright red parrot crossed her path and she fed him some seeds, thinking it ironic that the ocean queens first subject be a sky dweller who fed of the land.’’Everything but the sea.’’ she chuckled to herself.

Once Lizzie reached the ocean, she got in her boat and bravely sailed away. On her journey she was met with a horde of golden axolotls. She felt some sort of odd attachment to the gilled amphibians. Locking eyes with one, she felt almost a motherly instinct to protect it. She started gathering potential food for the axolotl, unsure of its preferences. She wasn't aware of her hearts depleting and her body growing weaker until she was on half a heart. A desperate, futile attempt for oxygen but there she was, back at the odd circle of chairs in the jungle.

She sighed, of course she had died already. She was surprised Jimmy hadn't died from the water in his biome yet, based off of some of the other rules hushed whispers.”THE OCEAN IS A CRUEL MISTRESS” she screamed as she got back in her boat. On her way back to her death site, she passed Joel on his red sand beach.
“Hi Lizzie”
“ Oh hi Joel! Tell me, did you hear about my death to my new home. It feels quite embarrassing”
“ Yes I did actually. Why are you living there when you've already died?”
“ I don't know. I just feel some sort of unease when I'm away from the water.”
“Oh.”
“Anyways, I mustn't let my stuff despawn. Bye”
“Bye Lizzie”

Once she got back to the scene of the crime, The golden axolotl had led the scene and her boat had drifted away.”just my luck,” As She collected her stuff Lizzie saw a flash of red in the sea frett. As she approached it, a realization dawned on her. Her parrot gravitated towards land to the point he had found a small island- no more then 11 blocks- and had made itself at home, using stones and peice of driftwood.’’ I guess this is where we are living then.”

Lizzie had an idea about what to build - because she obviously couldn't live for however long on a mere 11 blocks.Lilly pads. She got the idea from frogs leaping across lilypads. she would one day have a whole system of them.

“Once im in power, ill live in a tower, in a palace of primarine.”

But for now the lilly pad would have to do.
