Karamatsu x reader
Karamatsu watched her from the window everyday, at the exact same time.
Everyday at 12:00, she would show up and sit down on the bench. Everyday she would pull out a pencil and a pad of paper, and draw.
Karamatsu didn't pay much attention the first time he saw her, but after a week of constantly seeing her there, he got addicted to watching her.
No matter where his brothers wanted to go or if they wanted him to do something for them, he would decline just to watch her.
There was something about her that was so mesmerising. Karamatsu didn't understand why he chose to sit there and watch this girl draw, he just felt like he couldn't go a day without missing it.
One day, he was talking to Todomatsu.
"I don't understand! Why! Why is this girl so intriguing to me? I don't even know her name!"
Todomatsu didn't care much, but at the mention of a girl he perked up. "What are you talking about?"
Karamatsu turned to face his youngest brother, who was sitting on the couch. "That girl that I watch, from the window everyday at a 12:00... My dear Totty, were you not listening?"
"Absolutely not, but what? You like some girl? Go talk to her"
"Heh! Why you may think that is an easy decision, it is not!"
"Because...?"
"What if my pure star power scares my poor Karamatsu girl away?"
"Ah, right, your uh.. Star power"
Todomatsu thought for a moment, "well, if you don't want to talk to her, than I will!"
"Eh!?"
"You said around 12 right? Well it's 11:57 so she'll be here any minute now!"
Todomatsu hopped up as Karamatsu stood in shock before Todomatsu continued, "do you remember those stupid walkie talkie things that Jyushimatsu-Nisan got? I can take one then you take one, so you can here the conversation!"
"My brother! You would do that for me!"
"Of course!"
Totty smiled and hugged his brother, but didn't let him talk before he whispered, "but you owe me, big time"
"Heh, as you wish!"
Around 12:10, Todomatsu was all hooked up and ready to go. Karamatsu wished him luck before hurrying upstairs to the window.
Todomatsu hopped out of the door in his cute little manner and made his way across the street.
The girl was sitting there, looking down at her drawing pad as Todomatsu approached.
"Yahoo!"
He greeted, causing her to look up and glance around. "Um.. Hello.."
"Do you mind if I sit next to you? You look a little lonely"
She scooted over to make room as Todomatsu sat down. "I'm Todomatsu Matsuno! And you are..?"
He held out a hand, she grabbed it carefully and shook it, introducing herself as [First Name] [Last Name].
"So, miss [Name], what are you doing here at this time of day?"
"Oh, just drawing the boy that lives here"
Todomatsu looked a little confused, "um.. The boy that lives where?.."
"Here", motioning to the Matsuno household "the one that wears the sunglasses and the jacket"
Todomatsu had to sit and process everything that was coming from [Name]'s mouth.
"Um well, you know, I live here as well"
"Yes, there is 6 of you right?"
With a slight look of confusion and fear on his face he nodded, "y-yes.."
[Name] nodded before turning back to drawing as she continued, "sorry, if this seems weird, I just really like that blue one. I don't know his name but I love him. I see him watching me from the window of the house... Does he like me too?"
Karamatsu listened through the poor audio of the walkie, sitting at the window in shock. His other brothers sat in the room around him, doing their own thing before Jyushimatsu spoke up.
"Hey!! Karamatsu-Nisan! You look really red!"
"I..."
The brother looked up at the blue matsu, as he stared out the window with a blushing face. Soon enough, they all gathered around the window to see Todomatsu and [Name].
"Whoa, who's that?"
"I dont know but she is pretty!"
"Is that Totty with her?"
Todomatsu sat in the bench in thought before glancing up at the window. [Name] looked up too to see the brother crowded around Karamatsu.
"Ah see! There he is, he always watches me and I want to know why."
[Name] pointed at the window and her and Karamatsu made eye contact for just a moment.
Just a moment before Karamatsu fell backwards out of pure embarrassment.
Osomatsu took the time to open the window, "oi! Totty!! Why don't you bring your new friend over!!"
Todomatsu glanced at [Name], "I'm ok with it, I can meet him finally!.."
Moments later and [Name] was in the living room with the 6 brothers. A small conversation was being passed around but Karamatsu couldn't bring himself to join in.
He was to scared that he'd mess something up.
"So um.. What are your names? I don't think I was ever told.."
[Name] asked as Osomatsu smiled, "Matsuno, Osomatsu!"
"....Karamatsu...."
"Matsuno, Choromatsu"
"Matsuno, Ichimatsu.."
"Matsuno, Jyushimatsu!!!"
"Matsuno, Todomatsu! Again!"
[Name] smiled and nodded before standing, "well I should be off.."
"Oh already!"
"You just got here!"
[Name] went to turn and leave but heisted. She turned back towards the table with a piece of folded paper.
"U-um... Ka-Karamatsu..."
Karamatsu was broken from thought as he looked up at the girl. "Ah uh.. Yes?"
[Name] couldn't make eye contact as she held out the paper, "I... This is for you..."
Carefully, he grabbed the paper. Looking at it than at [Name], he smiled, "thank you, I shall cherish it, truly I will"
[Name] seemed joyful at the news before she said another hushed goodbye before leaving.
The brothers gathered around Karamatsu as he gently unfolded the paper.
It was a picture of him, doing a pose of his. At the bottom of the paper there was a small note.
'This is the very first picture I ever drew of you! I hope you like it but what I wanted to say, was that I really liked you ever since I first saw you at the park... I guess it was a love at first sight thing but I couldn't help it, you are very cute and funny! I just wanted to ask if you would go out with me, I'll be at the same spot I'm always at tomorrow so.. If your answer is yes than you can come see me!..'
Reading the note over and over again, Karamatsu felt his heart burst out of his chest as he cheered. The other brothers were in shock, how come he got a date?
Tomorrow came and Karamatsu stood nervously next to the bench as 12:00 approached.
[Name] came up to the bench, "hello..."
Karamatsu turned and smiled, "ah! My dear [Name]!"
He posed as [Name] smiled, "that's my favourite pose..."
Karamatsu felt the heat rise to his face but tried to play it off, "I uh, I got you message and um... You are a very good artist!... And I would uh love to um.. Go out on a date!... Whenever you are free of course!"
[Name] smiled, gently grabbing his hand, "I'm free right now.."
"Perfect! I shall take you on a date that you shall never forget!"
Taking [Name] away from the bench, she smiled me leaned her head on his shoulder.
"I love you.."
"I love you too, my dear Karamatsu girl"
