Chapter Text
The Orange Team had the misfortune of losing the first challenge in season 2 of Disventure Camp. Oliver cost his team the victory at the final stage, and now they're all gathered in the cabin. "I can't believe we lost the challenge! I did my part, the rest of you didn't keep up." Karol insults the team.
"We all tried our best." Rosa retorts with an annoyed look, unhappy with Karol's attitude.
"Oliver sure didn't, he's crazy." Karol glares. All eyes turn to the short man, as everyone knows Karol is right that he didn't do too well.
"I'm sorry, I just panicked. I promise it won't happen again!" Oliver defends himself.
"Obviously, it won't happen again, we're voting you out tonight." Karol scoffs as she sits on one of the bunk beds. She cringes as the bed creaks. "This camp is the worst place I've ever been to? Why did I sign up to come to this crap when this team can't even win a simple challenge!? I should've been on the other team, at least they know how to run!"
Karol makes her exit, going to try and find Kristal to complain to her. James huffs the moment she's gone. "That woman is insufferable."
"It's not kind to talk about people behind their back like that." Lake comments.
"Well, am I wrong? Who here finds her fun to be around? All she's done is complain." James rolls his eyes. No one has a response to that for a few moments.
"Sh- she is kind of bossy." Maggy admits quietly.
"I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but it's stressful to deal with. I don't like it." Aiden adds.
"She acted as if all of us didn't keep up when we were in the lead until the last leg." Rosa scoffs, causing Oliver to look nervous once again. Knowing that there is a lot of heat on him, as well as Karol, he makes a pitch.
"Okay, I know I messed up the challenge! I'm really sorry for that. But I'll be much more of a team player than Karol is, 100%! If any of you mess up in the future, she's going to act the same way to you. Is that the type of person you'd want to keep in the game?" Oliver asks. Everyone looks around at each other, seeming unsure.
Confessional: Oliver
"I hope that's enough for them to overlook what I did wrong. I really need to win this, I'm praying that it's not me tonight. What would I have left if I go home?" He bites his nails with concern.

Confessional: Aiden
"I hate to say it, but Karol dug her own grave. James and I are voting for her. He's my closest connection, and I know he doesn't like her. Best to stick to the easy boot for the first vote."
Conf end
Confessional: Rosa Maria
"I have to talk with Lake and Maggy for a while about this vote. Karol is insufferable to deal with, and more time with her means more time for her to be critical of the girls if they make a mistake. Maggy's confidence seems to be hanging by a thread, and I don't want Karol to cause a setback. But on the other hand, Karol did pretty well today, and she seems strong. Oliver did cost us, and if I want to win the money for Sofia, I need a good team to even make it to the merge." she ponders.
Moments pass before she pulls at her hair. "Urgh, but Oliver could have useful hidden skills because he's worked on this show before! I don't know what the right choice is!"
Conf end
We see Lake, Rosa, and Maggy sitting by some rocks later in the day. "So, have you two thought about the vote?" Rosa questions.
"I want it to be Karol. I want this game to be fun, she's going to make it insufferable." Lake admits. Maggy is quiet, which Rosa takes note of.
"Maggy?"
"Hm?"
"Do you have an opinion?"
"Uh..." Maggy trails off, seeming nervous.
"Maggy, you're allowed to give your input. We're all a group, everyone's opinion matters." Rosa assures.
"Exactly, we want to hear you out too. Do you want it to be Oliver instead?" Lake wonders. Before we see Maggy's response, we cut away.
Cut to campfire ceremony
We see the Orange Team sitting, with varied looks on their faces. Some look calm, but people like Oliver are definitely tense. "Welcome, Orange Team! Whenever people sign up for a reality show, they never think that they'll be the first boot. But, some things don't turn out as planned, and one of you is about to be utterly humiliated. Get voting!"
…
"Karol, I have nothing against you, but you're my best option to stay. Sorry, uh, I think." Oliver shrugs while holding his vote.
"If these people decide to keep you, I have lost faith in society!" Karol scowls while holding her vote for Oliver.
We get a quick cut of Rosa, Karol, Aiden, James, and Maggy voting before cutting back to the campfire.
…
"Once the votes are read, the decision is final! The person with the most votes will have to leave immediately." Kristal gives a malicious glare as she holds the urn close. She opens it as everyone looks tense.
"1st vote… Oliver."
Oliver gulps.
"2nd vote… Karol."
Karol leers at Oliver.
"3rd vote… Karol."
Karol grunts with frustration.
"4th vote… Karol. 3 votes Karol, 1 vote Oliver."
Karol's eyes widen with shock as James and Aiden exchange a glance. James seems confident, while Aiden still seems unsure. Kristal pulls out the next vote as the camera focuses on Rosa, Lake, and Maggy.
"1st person voted out of Disventure Camp… Karol! That's 4, you're out."
"What!?" Karol freaks out, standing up with anger, balling her fists. "How the hell could you all vote for me!?"
"What did you expect? You're annoying." James shrugs.
"Excuse me!?" Karol exclaims.
"No offense, but you spent most of the time complaining and yelling at us. Your presence was overbearing. I hope you don't take it personally." Aiden says apologetically, though he flinches in fear as Karol growls at him.
"Whatever, I knew I shouldn't have even tried to come out here for a stupid social game like this! I wasn't ever cut out for it." Karol groans. Aiden and Maggy look like they feel slightly bad after those words, but Rosa just gives Karol an unhappy glance while James stifles a yawn.
"Karol, it's time for you to go." Kristal gestures for her to go out. Karol frowns as she walks away, and we see her with a look of regret at the bus of losers, seemingly reflecting on something. We have no time to figure out what it is though, as the bus takes her away.
Confessional: Oliver
"I- I got saved! Yes! I have another chance, and I won't blow it. Oliver is going to win this thing!"
Conf end
Confessional: Lake
"Karol really stressed me out, something about her hit close to home. I'm glad that she's gone. I hope Rosa, Maggy, and I can make it to the end together. It's nice to have people I get along with."
Conf end
Confessional: Maggy
"I don't trust Karol's attitude, so I agreed with Lake. I'm grateful that they really wanted my opinion though." she smiles. "I'll try to be more confident from here on out without being prompted, even if it could be hard."
Conf end
