Work Text:
Fleur gently shook Kieran awake as the other man’s Furret chirped around at his feet. As Kieran’s golden eyes slowly opened, they fell on his partner's silky twintails, which went down to a little lower than his waist.
“Wake up, Kiki.” Fleur cooed, and Kieran’s hands gravitated to his hips, which he held tight as he remained in bed with a groan. Kieran slowly got up as Fleur waited patiently, his hands still resting on the taller man’s perfect and somewhat wide hips.
“Hngh.. Morning, my love.” Kieran softly mumbled as Fleur pressed his lips to his partner’s.
“I made breakfast, want me to make you tea or coffee?” Fleur asked in a soft, saccharine tone, befitting of a cutesy idol. Kieran let Fleur play with his long hair, which was all down, and the purple streaks were being stroked so delicately by the man with twintails.
“Tea, please..” he softly mumbled, leaning into the hand stroking his hair so reverently. Fleur giggled and smiled, before kissing Kieran on the cheek.
“Kay!” he chirped, ruffling his hair, and getting his bangs into his face. Fleur’s red orange eyes stared back for one last moment before he walked out their bedroom, humming. Kieran never did tire of seeing that man, hearing him, smelling him. Fleur was the most endearing and noticeable thing to all of his senses, and he could not hide that. Kieran rolled out of bed, pouting; he didn’t want to wake just yet, but he had no plans to miss the time he had with Fleur before he had to go start filming for work.
Fleur’s popularity only ever seemed to grow, not once did it waiver, and even as he approached his thirties, it just seemed as if he grew in popularity whilst in the spotlight. His bubbly and carefree made him a perfect idol, and made fans and Kieran alike smile. He really was meant for show business, even if it sometimes made Kieran a bit jealous.
When Fleur saw a messy haired Kieran stumble into the kitchen, he giggled, and pulled him against his chest.
“You came to me, Kiki! I would have brought you your breakfast, honey.” Fleur murmured with a pout, which made Kieran’s face heat a bit. Fleur never seemed to notice how he made his partner feel, even if it was smacking him in the face. Kieran laughed awkwardly, and made space from his love’s soft chest. It was embarrassing to admit, but Fleur’s build always comforted Kieran more than he’d admit.
“I know you would have, I just wanted to spend time with you before you’ve got work, that’s all.” Kieran mumbled shyly with a soft flush. The other man just laughed, and pat Kieran on the back, harder than he needed or noticed.
“Okay! I don’t mind letting you linger round if that’s what ya wanna do, Kieran!” Fleur chirped as he went back to humming and cooking, his body moving gently to his beat. The view was cute, and melted Kieran’s heart, even if it was such a common occurrence of his. Even outside of work, Kieran noticed Fleur never truly stopped twirling and singing, always full of cheerfulness and enthusiasm. Eventually his steps did take a pause, and he smiled at Kieran, not seeming to notice his partner ogling at him.
“Kiki! Do you think I should wear my sailor outfit, or the ruffle skirt and apron for my performance today?” Fleur asked eagerly, but Kieran just stared at him, before blinking, and flustering.
“Uh, what event are you doing today? Is it a contest or just idol work?” He asked with a stutter, and Fleur hummed as he thought.
“If I’m correct, it’s a contest! It’s a baking competition, I think. Who knows!” Fleur said with a shrug, and Kieran flushed, finding his partner’s cluelessness cute.
“That’s wonderful, dear. I think you should wear the apron and skirt then.” Kieran said softly, melting into Fleur’s hand as he stroked his cheek. The peppy man beamed and laughed as he stared at his partner becoming putty.
“If you think that’s better, then I’ll follow your advice, Kiki!” Fleur cooed happily, before leaping back up, and plating curry and rice for Kieran, and placing a cup next to it in front of him.
“I made curry! I only know how to make sweet curry, so that’s what it is. Your tea is still steeping, so you’ll have to wait.” Fleur told his partner, animated and smiling. Kieran stood up, and got a plate before Fleur could, plating him curry as well.
“I shouldn’t make someone so pretty do this. Just sit, and I’ll plate your food.” He told the taller, who flushed and giggled like a girl.
“You’re so sweet, Kiki! I guess I’ll let you do that.” Fleur purred, before kissing Kieran on the forehead, and moving to sit down. Fleur was as loving as one could be, but he still didn’t need to overwork himself, especially since he was their main source of income.
Kieran’s research of the stories of Kitakami were something he was deeply passionate about, but it just didn’t pull the revenue Fleur got from his idol work. The least he could do for him was make him do one less thing.
As Kieran placed a plate and steaming cup in front of Fleur, he hummed in delight, and eagerly took the fork Kieran handed him, the latter sitting in front of him.
“You always eat so much so quickly. I wish I wasn’t so slow, then I could always catch up with you.” Kieran said softly, and Fleur blinked at him, before bursting into giggles.
“You don’t need to always be in a rush for me, Kiki. I’ll always wait for you. Don’t think I’ll leave you behind!” He responded sweetly.
