“If I was a worm, would you still love me?”
“We are worms.”
Dean worm looked over at Parker worm. Well, not really since their worm species didn’t have eyes. Yet he still made his way over to his worm friend.
He slithered on top of him, mucus mixing as they wound themselves together in a wormy hug. They cuddled like that for a moment, content to just be worms who need not concern themselves with the lives and politics of the human race.
That didn’t mean they had no problems, because wormies have little worm issues, like moles, robins, and other things. Fortunately, today they had not been destined to die, the universe allowing them to instead continue their worm cuddles.
