Izuku was having a bad day...
First his childhood best friend turned tormentor burnt his notebook and told him to off himself. Then he got attacked by a Villain and nearly drowned. And now he is standing on a roof contemplating the choice of taking his Kacchans advice or not after his Idol crushed his dreams and left him on the roof...
BANG...He heard an explosion. He recognized the continuous nitroglycerin explosions coming from an alley near him but at the same time not too near him to know what is happening. He ran to the source of the explosion and pushed through the crowd to see his 'friend' (aka former friend now tormentor) Kacchan being attacked by the same Villain he was. A Villain who's body was made of sludge. And the heroes were just standing there doing nothing.
Izuku ran at the Villain, his body moving before his mind can comprehend what was going on. He threw his bag at the Villain giving Kacchan just enough time to breathe. "Damn Deku, what are you doing here!!" he yelled. "It looked like you needed help Kacchan!" Izuku yelled back. The Villain tried attacking again but All Might managed to come in and stop him just in time. He saved both teenagers and got attention from the press.
Afterwards the paramedics checked him and got the excess sludge that was in his lungs from when he had been attacked but he didn't bother telling anyone that he was attacked cause he didn't want to get All Might in trouble for not calling paramedics the first time. He was also lectured about taking charge cause he didn't have a quirk while Kacchan ( Bakugou Katsuki) was praised for being brave while being attacked.
Izuku didn't want to face Katsuki on his way home so he took a different longer route to try and keep distance between him and the explosive teen. That's when she arrived... She was a girl with long straight silver hair that looked like it glittered in the evening light. She had had an eye condition called heterochromatia that made her one eye ocean blue and the other emerald green. The curly haired greenette squeaked in surprise and slight fright when she just appeared out of nowhere.
"Waoh, hay no need to panic my name is Lilly. I didn't mean to scare you I'm sorry..." the girl now known as Lilly explained. Izuku couldn't help but notice her voice was sweet and joyful with no sign or intent for hurt towards Izuku but only kindness. "H-h-huh... N-no it's no problem " Izuku stuttered as he tried his best to calm himself down from the surprise "just a bit surprised " he added. She giggled in response and it made her sound like she was holding in a lot of laughter that was just waiting to be let out. "No worries... anyhay. I just wanted to talk to you about trying to save that boy being attacked by the sludge Villain earlier. " she said her voice seemingly getting louder the more excited she became.
Here we go again with the lectures ... Izuku thought to himself as he said "I know it was stupid and I could have gotten myself kil-" he didn't get to finish as the Lilly cut him off "No way. I thought it was so cool. You are definitely gonna make a great hero someday no matter what All Might told you..." Wait what..."How did you know All Might said I couldn't be a hero..." Izuku asked her. " Oh sorry my quirk tends to activate on its own. It's called insight and when I look people in the eye and activate it I end up knowing everything about a person including their past and secrets they wish to keep. Don't worry I won't tell anyone about All Mights secret civilian form." She say as enthusiastic as ever. " What that sounds so cool.." Izuku says wanting to write it down in his notebook but remembering Katsuki kinda destroyed the one he had with him today.
"Y'know. You would do very good at UA if you just do some work on getting ready for the entrance exam. If you like I can train you and you can sign up for support course as an analyst if you don't make it into the hero course straight away. Same thing with the general studies course. And then you can work your way up during the sports festival and earn your spot. You will have to work much harder than those with fiscal quirks. My mom works as a personal martial arts instructor and can take you on as her client. I can also help out since I'm aiming for the support course so I can help heroes get information on the villains in the future by using my quirk during interrogations..." Lilly seemed to ramble on and on nonstop. She didn't mumble like Izuku though, just rambled like the rest of the world doesn't exist.
"Whould that really be ok...?" Izuku asked when she finally realized she wasn't giving him a chance to talk and stopped rambling. " Yeah of course. Mom's gonna love you for sure. Let's exchange numbers so I can text you the address and when you can come so we can start your training..." She said without hesitation. "O-oh. Ok" Izuku said still a bit confused by the entire situation. Well at least he has a new friend...
