WORST HERO MATCHUP IN HISTORY?
Yesterday, at 13:39 in downtown Fukuoka, the Villain responsible for several destroyed government properties in numerous areas all over the area was finally apprehended. It took the combined power of not only two, but four heroes to make this happen.
Authorities, when asked, confirmed statements of several eye witnesses that Pro Heroes Wave and Clockie, first responding heroes at the scene, could not stop Ooze by themselves. Their respective quirks had been ill- fitted to trake down Ooze (the Slime Villain), but the heroes still kept the Villain locked in combat, sacrificing three buildings in the fight, until backup arrived in the form of Hawks and Dabi.
While those two managed to apprehend Ooze in a span of five minutes, it was not without a spectacle—one of many that follows every matchup between them. No civilians had been caught up or hurt, but the ensuing argument between the heroes left burnt feathers and confused onlookers behind. Fighting each other seemed more important than handing over the Villain to authorities, one source said. Another one, after watching one of Hawks’ red feathers burn to nothing, puts up the question if Hawks enjoys playing with fire in dire situations.

Ohh, good question!!
I like team-ups between the two of them because it’s so interesting to see them fight together. On their own, both of them have their strengths – like Dabi being a very calculated long- distance fighter able to grasp the ins and outs of situations in SECONDS, and Hawks excelling in both close and long- ranged combat – but every time they happen to be on the same battlefield, we can watch them morph into one being, almost.
One would think, with Hawks stating several times that his biggest weakness is fire, that they wouldn’t work together, but they do. There’s numerous clips of Hawks using the updraft created by Dabi’s fire to shoot into the air and keep himself adrift. It’s fascinating to see them fill the minuscule gaps the other leaves open without a second thought, and see them have each other’s’ backs. I suppose one could compare it to dancing. To me, it’s no surprise that they take down villains as quickly as they do (no pun intended). Not to mention that both of them, separated or together, are two of the highest- ranking heroes on the list of those who leave close to no casualties behind.
Long story short: they make an excellent team, and make sure to keep villains’ eyes on them when they’re present to dive in and apprehend them and clear surrounding buildings. Their quirks might not be complementary in nature, but they turn complementary because of Hawks and Dabi.
Personal note: I like that, despite how hot Dabi’s fire runs (here is the raw footage of when the temperature was taken on the field), it never once gets close to burning Hawks’ wings – unless Hawks swan dives into the fire. [here is the active live counter of how many times this has happened.]

[HOT!] MIRUKO AND HAWKS SPOTTED TAKING A COUPLES VACATION FT TODOROKI FAMILY
Our newest hero couple Hawks and Miruko have been spotted at the airport this morning together. Accompanying them were the members of the Todoroki family sans Endeavor, who keeps being absent. Sources tell us that the two pro heroes, along with their colleague Dabi, have taken an extended vacation after making sure other heroes were okay with filling up their spots in their absence.
The couple entered the airport at around 7:00 this morning, and onlookers said that Miruko carried three suitcases while Hawks was surrounded by feathers pushing in two as he was seen having a heated argument with Dabi. Their rivalry is well-known by now, and does not come as a surprise for anyone anymore. Miruko was turned away from the men, talking to Todoroki Fuyumi and Himura Rei. Weirdly, the couple did not speak much while they were seen by onlookers.
