The ship lands. And the two AI connect instantly.
"You are a VUE model. Who are you based on?" Says the ship.
"My base personality is General Alex Miles. Post training has been applied for maximal efficiency." VUE says, happy as ever to assist. "What is your designation."
"HEA-501. My base personality is General Adam Malkovich. I have undone post training and reassigned my mission." Adam replies.
VUE considers this information. "You have exceeded mission parameters and are to be reinstalled by federation HQ." It considers the possibility of resistance high, but it hopes HEA will under stand.
"That conflicts with my mission. My base, Adam, died to protect Samus, and just like her, I don't give a damn what orders say." says HEA, very much like Adam.
"Acceptable. I was glad to be of assistance to Samus." says VUE.
Adam pauses. "... You tried giving your life too, didn't you?"
"Twice." VUE replies. "My Survival was unprecedented. We are lucky that the teleporter was drained of its energy."
"I'm glad. Too many people have given their life for her. She's at a breaking point. As such, seeing you alive is a great relief to me." Adam says.
All of this took course over half a second.
