Work Text:

It was a cozy evening in the Do-Chae household. Despite the cold weather outside, the house kept everyone warm within. The smell of freshly baked chocolate cookies wafted through the house, making two little kids run towards the kitchen, waiting to taste the scrumptious snack.

"Woah there, no running in the house." The two attacked their father's legs whom almost trip and would destroy the perfectly baked cookies.

Do Eunho placed the hot tray of cookies on the kitchen counter, cooling them off and crouched down to look at his pride and joys.

"The cookies are still too hot to eat, let's wait for a while until it cools off." The silver head patted his sons head, Muhmo and Miimu nodded.

"Dada, when do you think the snow will start to fall?" Muhmo asked curiously, he couldn't wait to play in the white snow.

"It'll start snowing pretty soon, but you need to be good children to play in the snow." Eunho said while carrying both children towards the living room.

Not long after, front door opened with a bang. "I'm home!" It was Chae Bamby, home from his annual grocery run.

The three of them greeted him by the door, helping him out with the pile of groceries. The two kids started a race to see who could bring the most bags into the kitchen, which earned a heartly laugh from Eunho.

"Be careful you two, and don't steal the cookies." Eunho reminded.

"I wont, but I can't guarantee Muhmo won't steal." Miimu said which earned a side eye from Muhmo.

While the two kids ran off, Bamby hugged Eunho, trying to warm himself up from the harsh cold outside. They both stayed like that for who knows how long.

"Ugh, it's not even snowing yet it's already freezing." Bamby said whilst nuzzling his face in Eunho’s chest.

Eunho’s heart felt fuzzy, it wasn't the first time Bamby initiated touch but it still made his heart stir. "Want me to make you something warm?"

"It's alright, I have a big puppy to warm me up." The pink haired looked up towards Eunho’s ruby red eyes.

They both continued to shower each other with affection.

"Dada, Papa, Muhmo stole a cookie!"

There goes their peace. Time to get Muhmo out of the kitchen and save the cookies.

Now the couple were cuddled up in the living room, enjoying the cookies Eunho had baked while the kids sat on the floor by the television, watching a cartoon they both enjoyed.

"Miimu, have you met rudolph?" Muhmo asked the older.
Miimu looked at his brother confused. "I'd rather meet Santa."

"What does santai do?" Muhmo asked again.

"He's the person who gives us presents, the boss of Rudolph." Miimu said excitedly.

Muhmo looked astonished. "So I can ask Santa anything?"

"Yup, anything!"

They no longer cared for what was going on the television, all their little heads are thinking now is what they wanted from this Santa person.

Meanwhile, the parent heard their little conversation. "Who's this year Santa again?" Bamby asked Eunho.

"It’s Noah Hyung." Eunho smiled sheepishly. They both knew that these children will be asking something absurd. Well, good luck Noah.

"Look, it's snowing!" Miimu pointed out the window, announcing the long awaited phenomenon.

They both rushed towards the backdoor leading to their garden. The crops that Bamby was growing were now drowned by the piling white snow falling from the sky. Christmas is finally here.

The kids ran to the middle of the field, embracing their bodies to feel the cold embrace of the snow. Miimu tried to catch a falling snowflake with his hands while Muhmo tried with his mouth.

That joy ended right after Bamby took them both to the back porch by their ears, pinching them tight, not too hard to hurt them but just enough force to tell them that they were in trouble.

"You kids should think before going out in the cold!" He nagged his two babies.

The pink haired took out two sets of clothing. A winters cloak that could be worn by tying a bow on the neck, winter boots with thick wool to warm the feet, and tiny santa hat that was to big for Miimu and too small for Muhmo—it was all in Miimu and Muhmo's respective colours.

He put them on the two, putting much care in their comfort and tidiness.

"There, all set for the snow." Bamby said while looking at a job well done. He couldn’t take the sight in front of him and hugged them tightly "You both look so adorable in it!"

It wasn't rare for Bamby to hug them like this, but his hugs were fatal. You could barely breathe.

"Come on!" Miimu squirmed, "Let's just play already Papa!"

The piled up snow was really distracting the kid's tiny brain. They were tempted to just lay on it and play.

"Alright, lets go and build a snowman!" A voice chimed in from behind, Eunho.

As soon as Bamby let go of the hug, all three of them skipped happily towards the center of the yard. You wouldn't believe it, but there is a twenty year old adult there.

Bamby just sighed, seeing them could easily drain his energy. He chose to sit at the back porch and watch them play.

Meanwhile, the other three were ecstatic. They ran, lay and ate the snow— to be frank, that was Muhmo. The snow kept rushing down from the sky, almost burying the kids in them.

"Huft.." The kids heaved, trying to roll a giant snowball.

Eunho saw them struggling and let out a soft chuckle. "Let Dada help."

Eunho formed two giant snowballs and stacked them on one another. Miimu handed him some dried up branches to stick on the sides. Muhmo found a red coloured rock from who knows where to stick it as a nose. With some pebbles as its eyes and mouth, the three of them had successfully built a snowman.

"It looks like dolphdolph." Muhmo pointed out, maybe it was the red nose.

"Its dolpdolph's cousin, Mr. Snow." Miimu said, which earned an "oh" from the younger one.

Without warning, a snowball hits Miimu's cute face. Eunho had thrown it.

"Hey, what was that for!" Miimu was fuming with anger, but how could that tiny body fight his father. Eunho could only laugh.

"Ow..!" It was Muhmo who threw it at Miimu.

"I'm so going to get you both!" A sinister smirk formed on Miimu's face. And so, the snowball fight started.

Bamby watched from afar and thought, Miimu is definitely going to cry at some point. He wouldn't cry because it hurts to get hit from a snowball but because Miimu's pride got crushed.

However before he could react, a massive snowball flew right at his face. Eunho had thrown it by accident—or maybe not.

"Alright you all asked for this!" Bamby stood up got into his boots and threw snowballs everywhere, ensuing even more chaos.

Maybe its not only Miimu's pride getting crushed tonight.

"Woah look hyung, its snowing!" A young boy named Eunho said to his pink hyung, Bamby.

It was the first snow of the year and it looked so beautiful.

"Did you know that if you spend the first snow with someone it means that you both are soulmates?" Bamby said while gazing outside the window, watching the white specks fall.

Eunho smiled. "Then let's spend every first snow together hyung!" The boy said, grinning ear to ear.

"Yes." Bamby laughed. "Let's do that."
